IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed, including the following: READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponding to the local mains voltage before you connect the appliance. For Mainland China, standard electrical outlet is 0V~50Hz. To disconnect, grasp plug and unplug cord from electrical outlet. Features of Oster blender 00mL Bottle Spill-Resistant Bottle Drinking Lid and Straw Blending Blade Assembly NOTE: Please use care. Blades are sharp. Blender Base www.oster.com.cn Jar Lid Cover 70mL Plastic Jar Using Your Oster blender Wash before first use, disassemble before cleaning. Clean blender according to the instructions in the Cleaning and Storing Your Blender section.your Oster Blender comes with a Jar (70mL) and a bottle (00mL) to optimize different capacity usage. Both containers can fit with the same blade assembly and can work with the same blender base. To blend with the small bottle: Place the bottle on a flat surface with the open end facing up. Fill the bottle with your favorite ingredients. Be sure not to fill ingredients past the 00mL marking. Fasten the blade assembly on the open end of the bottle. Turn the bottle upside down, line up arrows on the blade assembly to the arrows on the base, and place the bottle in the base. With one simple touch blending begins by pressing the bottle down in the base. To lock the bottle in the base for hands-free operation, simply turn the bottle clockwise in the base in the direction of I. Blending will stop once you either stop pressing the bottle into the base or once you unlock the bottle by turning in the direction of O and remove the bottle from the base. Turn the bottle over and place on a flat surface. Replace the blade assembly with the drinking lid and straw. Take the bottle with your child to enjoy your blended beverage! The drinking lid is spill resistant when closed. Turn the top of the drinking lid clockwise until the straw folds down into the lid. To resume drinking, turn the lid counterclockwise until the straw pops up out of the lid. CAUTION: Always supervise children when eating/drinking. To avoid injury, do not allow a child to walk or run with a lid opened. Do not microwave. WARNING: To prevent possible choking hazard, check straw for damage before each use by pulling on the straw. Discontinue use if straw becomes torn or cracked. Prolonged periods of time drinking liquids, other than water, may cause tooth decay. NOTE: This small bottle is intended for children aged over 8 months. To blend with the jar: Fasten the blade assembly on the small opening of the jar. Place the jar on a flat surface, with the large opening facing up. Fill the jar with your favorite ingredients. Be sure not to fill ingredients past the 70mL marking. CAUTION: Do not blend hot liquids in the blender. Attach the lid cover to the top of the jar. Line up arrows on the blade assembly to the arrows on the base, and place the jar in the base. With one simple touch blending begins by pressing the jar down in the base. To lock the jar in the base for hands-free operation, simply turn the jar clockwise in the base in the direction of I. Blending will stop once you either stop pressing the jar into the base or once you unlock the jar by turning in the direction of O and remove the jar from the base. CAUTION: Operate only with the lid cover in place. Blending Tips Note: For optimal performance, place desired ingredients in the containers according to the following order: Liquids, fresh ingredients, frozen fruit, yogurt and ice cream. Put liquids in first, unless a recipe says otherwise. Cut all firm fruits and vegetables into pieces no larger than ¾ inch (.8 cm) to inch (.5 cm). Don t overload the containers. If the motor stalls, turn the blender off immediately, unplug the unit and let it cool for at least 5 minutes. Then, remove a portion of the food and continue. This blender will not mash potatoes, whip egg whites or substitute dairy toppings, mix stiff dough or grind raw meat. Cleaning and Storing Your Blender IMPORTANT: UNPLUG BEFORE CLEANING. DO NOT IMMERSE THE BLENDER BASE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID. Use a damp, soft sponge with mild detergent to clean the outside of the blender base. All parts except for the blender base are dishwasher-safe (top rack). You can also wash the parts, except the blender base, in warm, soapy water. Rinse well and dry. Storing Your Blender After cleaning, reassemble blade assembly to small open end of the jar and then place in the blender base. Snap the lid cover on top of the jar. Store the small bottle with the drinking lid and straw. Remove the jar from the base and place on a flat surface.
