Abstract Reforming from the Bottom to build a historical conception in line with Chinese actuality JIANG Yi - hua For over 00 years Chinese historians have done a lot to interpret the historical course of China. However many of our ideas and analytical frameworks are directly borrowed from the west or came through Japan to the west before they reached China. These new concepts and frameworks promoted the formation and development of new historiography but in the meantime prevented them from revealing the historical actualities of China in its true sense. Researches into Lin an of Southern Song Dynasty under the Perspective of City History 90-0 YAO Yong - hui Song dynasty is a turning point for ancient Chinese cities or even for the history development of China. With more scholars nowadays paying increasing attention to the history of Song dynasty the research value of Lin an capital of Southern Song Dynasty 7-79 was prominent. The author of this paper studied relevant literature during a hundred years and focused on discussing the hot issues after the 970s and in the meantime introduced the latest research results by overseas scholars. Seemingly harmonious Modern Chinese New Historiography and Japanese History LIU Chao The Chinese - edited history text book in End Qing Dynasty was the initial practice of New Historiography which referred to Japanese Text Book in the compilation of the Genre.
