BEFORE OPERATION Installation Make sure there is sufficient space for ventilation. 10cm at least 6cm at least Please leave space for ventilation. 6cm at least (Front View) (Lateral View) Figure shown above is the minumum required space for installation. Caution Position the refrigerator where the plug is accessiable. Do not locate the refrigerator near any heating equipment like a gas furnace or direct sunlight, otherwise it will lead to decrease of cooling capacility and fading of color;near a TV set, radio, telephone, wired intercom, otherwise it will cause damage to fidelity and picture. It may dirt, change color and/or shape of the wall and ground near the refrigerator when the refrigerator releases heat. Please pave a plank on carpet or PVC floor before positioning the refrigerator. Before Using 1 Fix the adjustable foot (only the left one) Clean the inside Clean with a wet cloth and wipe off the water with a dry one. 3 Plug into the socket Adjustable Foot Plug into the socket after locating the refrigerator. Do not store any food until the refrigerator starts cooling. Do not open the door until the refrigerator starts cooling. Usually the cooling period is to 3 hours, while it will last 10 hours in summer. Caution Plastic odor will be smelled in the beginning.please keep in good ventilation to remove the odor. In Delivery Please take out all the foods inside before moving the refrigerator. Take out the plug. Put a cushion on the delivery path. Otherwise, the water spilled from the evaporation pan in delivery will dirt the floor. Fix with tapes Please lift the refrigerator up when moving since there is no casters. Do not locate the refrigerator laterally. Otherwise it will cause damage to mechenical parts and stop cooling. 3

Freezer Temperature Control Usually set at Turn to MAX in winter (below 10 ) If set at in winter, the Freezer may not work. If set at MAX in other seasons except winter, the Refrigerator may not work. MIN MAX MIN MAX 1~3 higher than about -18 ~ lower than In winter, since the refrigerator temperature is not rising, and the cooling process period will be shortened,therefore the temperature in the Freezer may tend to rise. When set at MAX, more cold air will be sent into the Freezer. FREEZER TEMP. CONTROL Refrigerator Temperature Control Only used when cooling status need to be adjusted. Do not store carbonated drinks in the Freezer, otherwise it may pollute the Freezer if they get spilled. With no food inside and door closed under ambient temperature 30, the displayed temperature on the picture is the one mesured when it comes to a stable status. The Temp. Control is set at. Turn the Lever clockwise to empty the Ice Cube Tray when the ice cubes are made. Ice Storage Case Lever Caution Do not overfill the Ice Cube Maker, otherwise the ice cubes will be joined together and cannot be taken out. Do not make ice in the Ice Storage Case, otherwise it will get cracked. When the Spring Drops 1Insert the Spring (the side which looks like letter "L") into the Spring Eye. Spring Eye 1 Insert the Ice Cube Maker into the orifice and wind the Spring on the Ice Cube Maker. Fixing Orifice Turn the Spring to insert the "L" part into the proper place. 3Insert the "L" part in thoroughly and then overlay the Spring on the Fixing Orifice. 3 Fixing Orifice 5Put the Ice Cube Tray on the Holder. If the sound of "crack" is heard, then it is firmly installed. Caution Please avoid being cut by the fore-end of the Spring. 5 Ice Cube Maker Holder 5

CARE AND CLEANING Caution Unplug the refrigerator. Wipe with a soft cloth dipped with warm water or diluted neutral detergents (e.g. tableware detergent). If neutral detergents are used, please wipe with water again before drying. (Otherwise, the plastic components may be damaged.) The following substance shall never be used, otherwise it will cause damage to the surface, change of shape, crack to the plastic components. gasoline diluent alcohol abrasive powder washing powder steel wool nylon brush hot water (>60 ) alkaline and alkalescent detergent substances may cause damage to the plastic components Appendage Take off, wash and dry before reinstallation. Door Seal Please be careful since it gets stained easily. How to Remove and Install Fresh Case Draw the Fresh Case out until reaching the ledge, lift up the inside part slightly and then take it out all. Fresh Case Lid Door Pocket Pull it out by lifting up. Make sure the hasp is fully locked. Hasp The Wall Surrounding and Adjustable Foot (Please care and maintain once a year.) The color of the wall behind may get change if it doesn't get cleaned for a long time. Ledge Fresh Case Put it on the ledge and push it along the rail when installing. Do not remove the lid. Deforsting The refrigerator defrosts to water regularly and stores in the evaporation pan, then the water gets evaporated by the heat generated from compressor. The Inner Light Is Broken Please contact the service centre authorized by SHARP to replace the Inner Light. Only qualified technician can do the replacement. Switch Off the Refrigerator Please switch off the refrigerator if you will be not at home for a long period, take out all the foods in the refrigerator and clean the inside thoroughly. Please remove the plug from the socket and keep the doors of the refrigerator all open. BEFORE CALLING FOR SERVICE Before calling for serive,check the following points. It is normal for the refrigerator to produce the following sounds. Loud noise produced by the compressor when operation starts --- Sound becomes quieter after a while. Loud noise produced once a day by the compressor --- Operating sound produced immediately after automatic defrost operation. Sound of flowing fluid (gurgling sound,fizzing sound) --- Sound of refrigerant flowing in pipes (sound may become louder from time to time). Cracking or crunching sound --- Sound produced by expansion and contraction of inner walls and internal parts during cooling. Squeaking sound --- Sound produced by expansion and contraction of internal parts. It is normal that the outside of a cabinet may be hot when touched.the hot pipe is in the cabinet in order to prevent dew generation. 保 養 和 清 潔 保 養 方 法 拔 下 電 源 插 頭 用 沾 有 溫 水 或 稀 釋 後 的 中 性 清 潔 劑 ( 餐 具 清 潔 劑 ) 的 軟 布 擦 拭 如 果 使 用 了 中 性 清 潔 劑, 請 務 必 再 用 清 水 擦 拭, 最 後 擦 乾 ( 如 果 未 把 清 潔 劑 擦 乾 淨, 塑 膠 部 件 容 易 破 裂 ) 請 勿 使 用 以 下 物 品 否 則, 容 易 造 成 表 面 受 損, 塑 膠 部 件 變 形 破 損 裂 痕 汽 油 鹼 性 稀 釋 劑 弱 鹼 性 清 潔 劑 酒 精 其 他 可 能 損 壞 塑 膠 研 磨 粉 的 物 品 洗 衣 粉 鋼 絲 球 尼 龍 刷 熱 水 (60 以 上 ) 附 屬 品 取 下 清 洗 抹 乾 後 再 安 裝 取 下 及 安 裝 的 方 法 保 鮮 盒 抽 出 保 鮮 盒 直 到 碰 到 突 起 部 分, 把 內 側 稍 稍 上 提 後 再 全 部 抽 出 保 鮮 盒 蓋 門 架 門 封 條 容 易 被 弄 髒 所 以 應 注 意 清 潔 向 上 提 後 取 出 安 裝 時 需 卡 緊 卡 鉤 卡 鉤 可 調 校 櫃 腳 及 雪 櫃 旁 的 牆 壁 ( 需 進 行 一 年 一 次 的 清 潔 ) 如 果 長 期 不 擦 拭 灰 塵, 旁 邊 牆 壁 可 能 會 變 色 保 鮮 盒 安 裝 時, 放 在 突 起 部 分 上 面 然 後 往 內 推 請 勿 取 下 保 鮮 盒 蓋 突 起 部 分 除 霜 雪 櫃 內 部 的 霜 會 定 期 溶 解 成 水 留 在 蒸 發 盤 中, 再 由 壓 縮 機 等 的 熱 量 使 之 蒸 發 雪 櫃 內 燈 不 亮 時 請 聯 絡 SHARP 售 後 服 務 中 心 進 行 更 換 除 技 術 服 務 人 員 以 外 的 人 員 不 能 進 行 更 換 關 閉 雪 櫃 電 源 時 如 長 時 間 外 出 而 需 關 閉 雪 櫃 電 源 時, 請 拿 出 雪 櫃 中 的 全 部 食 物, 並 對 雪 櫃 內 部 進 行 清 潔 拔 下 電 源 插 頭 並 使 兩 扇 雪 櫃 門 保 持 打 開 狀 態 送 修 之 前 的 初 步 檢 查 送 修 之 前, 請 對 以 下 幾 點 進 行 確 認 : 雪 櫃 若 發 出 下 列 聲 音, 是 正 常 的 : 運 轉 開 始 時, 壓 縮 機 發 出 較 大 的 噪 音 --- 不 久 聲 音 會 變 小 壓 縮 機 每 日 一 次 發 出 較 大 噪 音 --- 緊 隨 自 動 除 霜 操 作 之 後 發 出 的 運 轉 聲 液 體 流 動 的 聲 音 ( 咕 嚕 聲 嘶 嘶 聲 )--- 製 冷 劑 在 管 道 內 流 動 的 聲 音 ( 聲 音 有 時 會 變 得 較 大 ) 劈 啪 聲 或 吱 嘎 聲 --- 製 冷 時 內 壁 和 內 部 零 件 膨 脹 和 收 縮 的 聲 音 吱 吱 聲 --- 內 部 零 件 膨 脹 和 收 縮 的 聲 音 雪 櫃 外 箱 有 時 會 變 熱, 這 是 正 常 的 因 為 防 止 結 露 的 熱 導 管 裝 在 機 身 的 內 部 若 經 檢 查 後 仍 需 要 送 修 時 請 與 就 近 的 SHARP 售 後 服 務 中 心 查 詢 11
