住 宿 登 记 Residence Registration 外 国 人 入 境 后 入 住 宾 馆 以 外 住 所 的, 须 在 24 小 时 内 到 居 住 地 派 出 所 办 理 临 时 住 宿 登 记 手 续 Register at the local police station within 24 hours of lodging in a residence other than a hotel (unless residence permit obtained). 注 : 持 当 地 办 理 的 有 效 外 国 人 居 留 许 可 的 除 外, 但 居 住 住 址 变 更 的 须 重 新 办 理 住 宿 登 记 并 申 请 居 留 许 可 变 更

紧 急 情 况 下, 未 向 出 入 境 管 理 局 报 失 护 照 即 从 外 国 驻 华 使 领 馆 补 办 好 护 照 或 旅 行 证 件 的, 需 请 该 使 领 馆 出 函 证 明 If, under some emergency case, the applicant has already obtained a new passport or travel document from the consulate or embassy without reporting to the EEB for loss of his passport, he needs to provide a letter of explanation from that consulate or embassy.
