17 YOUTH STUDIES Bimonthly Vol September Column on the Study of Middle and Long Term Planning for Youth Development The Study on the Process of College Student Associations' Development and Governance Promoted by the Organization of Communist Youth League Li Ding 1 Abstract The transition of social governance pattern is a process of practice and exploration. How the country recognize and adjust its relationship with social organizations whether empower the social organizations through cooperation or contradict and conflict with them all these would have great influences on the long-term development of social organizations and the transformation of social governance pattern. This article tries to restore the historic process of development and fixation of governance pattern of college student associations which has been actively promoted by the organization of Communist Youth League. On this basis we further show the role of mass organizations in social construction and the promotion of transformation of governance in social organization. In order to improve the level of social governance and the legitimacy of country management simultaneously we must liberate the thought seek truth from the facts set up reasonable system framework and ensure the development space and autonomy of social organization. It is very important to study the process of college student associations' development and governance which could provide some valuable references to the development and common governance of folk social organization. Keywords Colleges and Universities Communist Youth League Student Associations Social Organization Social Governance The Adolescents' Moral Disengagement and Prosocial Behavior Liu Shan & Shi Renbing 17 Abstract Based on the questionnaire survey data of 2000 middle school students from Hunan Guangdong Guangxi Shanghai Gansu Zhejiang Fujian and Jiangsu this study tries to explore the level of adolescents' moral disengagement the condition of prosocial behavior and its structure the influence of moral disengagement on the adolescents' prosocial behavior. According to the study for the contemporary adolescents the level of moral disengagement is relatively low the level of prosocial behavior is relatively high. According to the further analysis we could find that the moral disengagement could reversely predict the adolescents' prosocial behavior significantly namely the higher the level of moral disengagement is the lower the adolescents' level of prosocial behavior is. For the adolescents different mechanisms of moral disengagement could influence their different types of prosocial behavior.
