I. Getting Started 1. Start Internet Explorer. 2. Enter the site http://efax.on-nets.com. Enter http://efax.on-nets.com 3. Enter fax number (e.g. 31671XXX) at Login Name and account number as Password. Then press enter. Page 1
II. Fax Forward 1. You can received your fax in your designated email accounts by setting Fax Forward. Click Preferences then choose Fax Forward. 2. Write your desired email account (e.g. XXX@hgc.com.hk) at Forward all received fax to. Press Add Email. Page 2
3. The desired email address will appear on the right box as shown. 4. You can forward up to a maximum of 3 email accounts. Page 3
5. You can also decide whether to keep the original fax in the Fax Folder or to delete them upon setting the fax forward function by updating the Change Keep-Copy area. 6. To remove the existing forwarded email account, simply highlight the email account. Press Remove Email. Page 4
II. Web Viewing NOTE: All received fax will be kept in the web-based folders for 14 days only. Please save faxes in your hard disk if necessary. 1. For simple viewing on the Web, go to Check Fax. Choose view. The fax will be shown on the screen. Page 5
2. To forward fax as email attachment, click forward. Fax can be forwarded to email recipients as attachment by entering recipients email address at To field (e.g. abc@on-nets.com). Then, click Send. Page 6
3. To save, right click right click to save. Press save icon, fax can be saved in the desired location in your harddisk. Page 7
IV. General Management 1. You can file up your fax by going to Fax Folder. Your fax will be stored in the In Fax folder when arrived. To read fax inside the folder, simply click the folder name. Page 8
To create folder, put the desired folder name (e.g. HGC) at New Folder Name. Press Create. NOTE: Folder name can only be in alphanumeric form with NO space in between. A folder with your desired folder name (e.g. HGC) will be created on your folder list. Page 9
To change folder name, click the corresponding Edit button (e.g. the line HGC). Type the new name (e.g. Hutchison) at the space provided and press Confirm. The folder name will change as you desired. Page 10
To delete a folder, click the corresponding Delete button (e.g. at the line HGC). Please check that the delete folder name is correct. Fax stored in folders will be PERMENANTLY deleted once the folder is removed. Click Confirm if affirmative. Page 11
2. Fax Display allows you to choose your display setting. Click Preference then Fax Display. 3. You can also change your password at Change Password page. For security reason, you are strongly advised to change your password after your first log into the efax service. Page 12
V. Help Desk Always check the FAQ section at the Help Desk page where most questions are answered. VI. Logout After using our efax Service, you are strongly advised to logout from the folder. - End - Page 13
