2015 年度孔子学院奖学金招生办法 Recruitment Procedures for Confucius Institute Scholarship (2015) 为支持孔子学院建设, 促进汉语国际推广和中国文化传播, 培养合格的汉语教师和汉语人才, 孔子学院总部 / 国家汉办 ( 以下简称汉办 ) 设立奖学金, 资助外国学生 学者和汉语教师到中国有关大学 ( 以下统称 接收院校 ) 学习 For the purpose of supporting the development of Confucius Institutes, facilitating international promotion of the Chinese language and dissemination of Chinese culture, as well as cultivating qualified Chinese-language teachers and excellent Chinese-language learners, the Confucius Institute Headquarters/Hanban (hereinafter referred to as Hanban) launches a Confucius Institute Scholarship Program to sponsor foreign students, scholars and Chinese language teachers interested in studying Chinese in designated universities of China (hereinafter referred to as Host Institutions ). 一 招生类别及申请条件 (Category of Scholarship and Eligibility Criteria) 本年度奖学金招生类别是汉语国际教育专业硕士 一学年研修 + 汉语国际教育专业硕士 汉语国际教育本科 一学年研修生 一学期研修生和四周研修生 招生对象为非中国籍人士, 身体健康, 年龄一般在 16 至 35 周岁之间 ( 在职汉语教师可放宽至 45 周岁, 本科生限 20 周岁 ) The 2015scholarships are divided into six categories: Scholarships for Master's Degree Students in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages(MTCSOL) Scholarships for Students of One-Academic-Year + MTCSOL, Scholarship for Bachelor's Degree Students of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages(BTCSOL) Scholarships for One Academic-Year Students Scholarships for One Semester Students Scholarships for Four-Week Students Applicants shall be non-chinese citizens in good health, between the ages of 16 and 35 (Chinese language teachers shall be under the age of 45, and applicants for BTCSOL scholarship should be under the age of 20). 1. 汉语国际教育专业硕士向孔子学院 ( 课堂 ) 学员, 海外本土汉语教师 汉语桥 中文比赛优胜者 大学中文专业优秀毕业生和 HSK 考试 BCT 考试成绩优秀者提供 入学时间为 2015 年秋季, 资助期限为 2 年 申请者应具有学士学位或相当学历,HSK 成绩不低于五级 180 分 HSKK 成绩 ( 中级 ) 不低于 50 分, 或者 BCT (B) 成绩不低于 180 分 BCT( 口语 ) 成绩不低于 260 分, 同时书面承诺毕业后
至少从事 5 年汉语教学工作 有具体任教意向者 ( 须提供拟任教单位出具的证明 ) 将被优先录取 入学后第一学年结束前通过年度评审且 HSK 成绩不低于六级 180 分 HSKK( 中级 ) 成绩不低于 70 分者, 可继续享受奖学金 汉办将为优秀毕业生回国任教提供支持 Scholarships for Students of MTCSOL: This scholarship is intended for excellent students from Confucius Institutes (or Confucius Classrooms), overseas local Chinese language teachers, winners of the Chinese Bridge Chinese Proficiency Competitions for Foreign College Students and Foreign High School Students, excellent foreign college graduates who have majored in Chinese and outstanding performers on HSK exams, to undertake a Master's Degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages. Scholarship winners shall begin their study in the fall of2015, and the duration of scholarship is two academic years. Applicants should have a bachelor s degree or its equivalent, attain a score of at least 180 on the HSK Level 5 Test and a score of at least 50 on the HSKK Intermediate Level Test; or a score of at least 180 on the BCT (B) Test, and a Spoken score on the BCT Test of at least 260, and make a written commitment stating that they will be engaged in Chinese language teaching for at least five years after graduation. Those who pass the first-academic year assessment and score at least 180 on the HSK Level 6 Test and at least 70 on the HSKK Intermediate Level Test are entitled to continuing support of the scholarship. Applicants with a pre-arranged teaching post in their home country will be given admission priority (certification by the institution for which they teach is required). Hanban will provide continued support for outstanding graduates to teach in their home countries. 2. 一学年研修 + 汉语国际教育专业硕士仅向非洲和拉美地区有志于从事汉语教学工作的孔子学院 ( 课堂 ) 学员提供 入学时间为 2015 年秋季, 资助期限为三学年 申请者须与孔子学院或拟任教单位签订协议, 具有学士学位或相当学历,HSK 成绩不低于三级 180 分 HSKK 成绩 ( 初级 ) 不低于 60 分 ; 或者 BCT(A) 成绩不低于 180 分 BCT( 口语 ) 成绩不低于 180 分 ; 完成第一学年研修生学习, 通过年度评审且汉语能力测试取得 HSK 成绩不低于五级 180 HSKK( 中级 ) 成绩不低于 50 分者, 方可攻读汉语国际教育专业硕士学位, 继续享受奖学金 汉办将为毕业回国任教者提供支持, 如, 招聘为本土汉语教师并给予工资补贴等 Scholarship for Students of One-Academic-Year + MTCSOL: This scholarship is intended for students from Confucius Institutes in Africa and Latin American regions, who are interested in Chinese language teaching. Scholarship recipients shall begin their study in the fall of 2015, and the duration of these scholarships is three academic years. Applicants shall sign an agreement with the Confucius Institute or an institute for which they will teach. Applicants are required to have a bachelor s degree or its equivalent and achieve a score of at least 180 on the HSK Level 3 Test and a score of at least 60 on the HSKK Primary Level Test; or a score of at least 180 on the BCT (A) Test and a score of at least 180 on the BCT Spoken Test. Those who complete the first year and pass the first-academic year assessment, scoring at least 180 on the HSK Level 5 Test
and at least 50 on the HSKK Intermediate Level Test, may proceed with their study in China for the Master s Degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages. Hanban will support graduates who teach Chinese in their home countries by recruiting them as local teachers, providing wage subsidies, etc. 3. 汉语国际教育本科仅向亚洲 ( 除日本 韩国 新加坡 以色列外 ) 拉美和非洲国家有志于从事汉语教学工作的孔子学院学员提供, 学习专业为汉语国际教育 ( 含汉语言本科汉语国际教育方向 ) 入学时间为 2015 年秋季, 资助期限为 4 学年 申请者应具有高中以上学历,HSK 成绩不低于三级 180 分 HSKK( 中级成绩 ) 不低于 40 分, 或者 BCT (A) 成绩不低于 180 分 BCT( 口语 ) 成绩不低于 220 分 第一学年结束前通过年度评审且 HSK 成绩不低于五级 180 分,HSKK( 中级 ) 成绩不低于 50 分者, 可继续享受奖学金 Scholarship for Students of BTCSOL: This scholarship is intended for students from Confucius Institutes in Asia (not including Japan, South Korea, Singapore or Israel), Latin America or Africa, who are interested in Chinese language teaching. Scholarship recipients will major in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages or Chinese in an area related to Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages. Recipients will begin their studies in the fall of 2015 and may receive continued support for up to four academic years. Applicants should have a high school degree or above, achieve scores of no less than 180 on the HSK Level 3 Test and at least 40 on the HSKK Intermediate Level Test; or at least 180 on the BCT (A) Test and at least 220 on the Spoken section of the BCT Test. Those who pass the first academic year assessment and score at least 180 on the HSK Level 5 Test and at least 50 on the HSKK Intermediate Level Test are entitled to continuing support of the scholarship. 4. 一学年研修生向孔子学院 ( 课堂 ) 学员, 海外本土汉语教师 汉语桥 中文比赛优胜者 大学中文专业优秀学生 HSK 考试成绩优秀者和有志于从事国际汉语教育的人士提供, 学习专业包括汉语言文学 中国历史和中国哲学, 入学时间为 2015 年秋季, 资助期限为一学年 培养目标为汉语水平达到 HSK 五级和 HSKK 中级 申请者 HSK 成绩须不低于三级 180 分 HSKK 成绩不低于中级 50 分, 或者 BCT(A) 成绩不低于 180 分 BCT ( 口语 ) 成绩不低于 180 分 This Scholarship is intended for One-Academic Year Students: The scholarship is intended for outstanding students of Confucius Institutes or Confucius Classrooms, overseas local Chinese language teachers, winners of the Chinese Bridge Chinese Proficiency Competitions for Foreign College Students or Foreign High School Students, excellent foreign college students majoring in Chinese, outstanding performers on the HSK, and those who intend to become Chinese teachers. Scholarship recipients may choose to study Chinese language and literature, Chinese history and Chinese philosophy. Students begin courses in the fall 2015 and the grant term is one academic year. At the end of one year of study, recipients are expected to reach Level 5 on the HSK and the Intermediate Level on the HSKK. Applicants should achieve a score of at least 180 on the HSK Level 3 Test and a score of at least 50 on the HSKK Intermediate Level
Test,or a score of at least 180 on the BCT (A) Test, and a score of at least 180 on the BCT (Spoken) Test. 5. 一学期研修生向孔子学院 ( 课堂 ) 优秀学员, 汉语桥 世界大 中学生中文比赛优胜者, 海外本土汉语教师 大学中文专业优秀学生 HSK 考试成绩优秀者提供, 学习专业包括汉语言文学 中国历史和中国哲学, 入学时间为 2015 年秋季或 2016 年春季, 资助期限为一学期 申请者 HSK 成绩须不低于二级 120 分 HSKK( 初级 ) 成绩不低于 40 分, 或者 BCT(A) 成绩不低于 100 分 BCT( 口语 ) 成绩不低于 120 分 Scholarship for One-Semester Students : This scholarship is intended for excellent students of Confucius Institutes or Confucius Classrooms, winners of the Chinese Bridge Chinese Proficiency Competitions for Foreign College Students or Foreign High School Students, overseas local Chinese language teachers, excellent foreign college students majoring in Chinese, and outstanding performers on the HSK Test. Scholarship recipients may study Chinese language and literature, Chinese history or Chinese philosophy. Students begin their studies in the fall of 2015 or the spring of 2016. The grant term is one semester. Applicants should achieve a score of at least 120 on the HSK Level 2 Test and at least 40 on the HSKK Primary Level Test; or a score of at least 100 on the BCT (A) Test and a score of at least 120 on the BCT Spoken Test. 6. 四周研修生定向为部分孔子学院 ( 课堂 ) 优秀学员提供, 以语言研修为主, 辅以文化考察, 入学时间为 2015 年 7 至 8 月, 资助期限为四周 申请者需参加 HSK 或 BCT 并提交成绩报告, 无来华留学经历 汉办将根据四周研修生汉语水平调剂安排在指定接收院校集中学习 Scholarship for four-week students: This scholarship is intended for excellent students of Confucius Institutes or Confucius Classrooms. Scholarship recipients may study Chinese and take part in cultural tours. Student will enroll between July and August 2015 and the grant term is four weeks. Applicants should take the HSK or BCT Test and submit their score reports. Applicants should not have had previous experience studying in China. Hanban will send applicants to study in a designated university according to their Chinese language levels. 二 奖学金资助内容及标准 (Scholarship Coverage and Criteria) 孔子学院奖学金资助内容包括 : 学费 住宿费 生活费和综合医疗保险 其中生活费标准为 : 本科生 一学期和一学年研修生人民币 2500 元 / 月 ; 汉语国际教育专业硕士生人民币 3000 元 / 月 Scholarship recipients are exempt from tuition and campus housing fees and receive a monthly stipend and comprehensive insurance for foreign students studying in China. Monthly stipends are provided at the following rates (CNY Yuan per month):
a. CNY 2,500 for One-Academic-Year Students and One-Semester Students. b. CNY 3,000 for Master s Degree Students. 三 招生流程 (Recruitment Procedures) 1. 自本办法发布之日起, 申请者可登陆孔子学院奖学金网站 (http://cis.chinese.cn) 注册个人账号, 查询接收院校及专业信息, 在线填写 提交 孔子学院奖学金申请表, 截止日期 5 月 10 日 Applicants may log on to the Confucius Institute Scholarship website at http://cis.chinese.cn, set up an individual account, read information about host institutions and majors, and complete and submit the Confucius Institute Scholarship Application Form online. The deadline for all applications is May 10, 2015. 2. 汉办委托各国孔子学院 ( 独立设置的孔子课堂 ), 有关海外汉语考试考点, 中国驻外使 ( 领 ) 馆教育 文化处 ( 组 ), 接收院校和未建孔子学院国家的有关高等学校作为推荐机构, 负责按招生要求审核属地申请者资格及申请材料, 并于 5 月 20 日前将推荐名单汇总提交汉办 Hanban entrusts the following as recommending institutions: Confucius Institutes, independently set-up Confucius Classrooms, overseas Chinese test centers, educational and cultural offices (sections) of Chinese Embassies or Consulates, and host institutions of higher education in those countries with no Confucius Institutes. The recommending institutions shall examine the qualification and application materials of applicants, and submit the list of recommended applicants to Hanban by May 20th, 2015. 3. 接收院校负责审核申请者入学资格, 并于 5 月 31 日前向汉办提交符合条件的奖学金留学生预录取名单 Host institutions are responsible for reviewing applicants qualifications and submitting the proposed enrollment name list of qualified candidates to Hanban by May 31, 2014. 4. 汉办将组织专家进行评审, 对符合条件者择优录取 获奖者名单将于 6 月 15 日后在奖学金网站公布, 同时通知接收院校和推荐机构, 并由推荐机构通知申请者本人 Hanban will organize an expert panel to make the final selection and publicize the name list of successful applicants on the Scholarship website after June 15th, 2014. Hanban will also inform officials at host and recommending institutions, who in turn will inform the applicants. 5. 接收院校须于 7 月 1 日前将 录取通知书 报到须知 外国留学人员来华签证申请表 (JW202 表 ) 和孔子学院奖学金证书电子版等入学材料寄达推荐机构, 由推荐机构转交申请者本人
The host institutions in China will send an admissions letter, enrollment instructions, a visa application form for foreigners to study in China (JW202 Form), and a Certificate of Confucius Institute Scholarship (in electronic format), along with other related materials to successful applicants through recommending institutions by July 1st, 2015. 四 申请材料 (Application Documents) 申请者须登录奖学金网站, 填写 孔子学院奖学金申请表, 并附上以下证明材料的电子文档 : Applicants should log onto the scholarship website, fill out the Confucius Institute Scholarship Application Form, and submit the following materials as electronic attachments: 1. 护照照片页 Copy of passport photo page. 2.HSK HSKK 或者 BCT BCT( 口语 ) 成绩报告 Copies of HSK and HSKK score reports, or BCT and BCT (Spoken) score reports. 3. 最高学历证明 ( 毕业预定证明或在校学习证明, 如非中文或英文证明, 需提供相应的公证文件 ) The highest education diploma attained or scheduled proof of graduation or official proof of student status. Non-Chinese or non-english certificates or diplomas must be notarized. 4. 推荐信及承诺书 汉语国际教育专业硕士申请者须同时提交两名副教授以上职称导师的推荐信 ( 用中文或英文书写 ), 以及毕业后至少从事 5 年汉语教学工作的承诺书 未建孔子学院国家的有关高校中文专业学生, 须另提供校长签发的推荐信 MTCSOL Scholarship applicants are required to submit two letters of reference from professors or associate professors (in Chinese or English) and a written commitment stating that the applicant will be engaged in Chinese language teaching for at least five years after graduation (written in Chinese and signed). College students majoring in Chinese in countries with no established Confucius Institutes shall submit a reference letter signed and issued by the university president. 5. 未满 18 周岁的申请者, 须提交委托在华法定监护人的相关法律文件 Applicants under the age of 18 shall submit relevant legal documents of entrusted legal guardians in China. 6. 汉语桥 世界大 中学生中文比赛来华复赛获奖者须提供奖学金证书 各国分赛区优胜者须提供获奖证明和赛区主办单位出具的推荐函 Winners of the final competition of the Chinese Bridge Chinese Proficiency Competitions for Foreign College Students or Foreign High School Students in China shall submit the eligibility certificate for scholarship. Winners of preliminary rounds of the Chinese Bridge Chinese
Proficiency Competitions in their home countries shall submit proof of awards and a reference letter from the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in the area of competition. 7. 在职汉语教师须提交就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信 Chinese language teachers shall submit proof of length of time teaching and weekly teaching hours provided by the institutes they work for. 8. 申请 一学年研修 + 汉语国际教育专业硕士 连读学习的, 须提交与孔子学院或拟任教单位签订的协议 Those applying for scholarships of One-Academic-Year + MTCSOL are required to provide the agreement signed with the Confucius Institute or the institute for which they will be working. 9. 接收院校所需的其他证明材料 Other materials may be required by host institutions. 五 注意事项 Attention! 1. 申请单中护照用名与护照扫描件信息不一致的, 或相关证明材料不全的, 视为无效 An application will not be considered valid if the name on the application form does not match the name on the scanned copy of the passport. 2. 奖学金获得者因故不能报到, 需于报到日前 15 天以书面形式通知接受院校并注明原因 无故逾期未报到者, 奖学金资格不予保留 If a scholarship recipient cannot register at his or her designated host university for any reason, he or she should notify the host institution in writing at least 15 days before registration begins and provide the reason(s).
