2 孔子学院奖学金项目介绍 Introduction of Confucius Institute Scholarship 为支持孔子学院建设, 促进汉语国际推广和中国文化传播, 培养合格的汉语教师和各类汉语人才, 孔子学院总部 / 国家汉办设立孔子学院奖学金, 资助外国学生学者和汉语教师到中国有关高等学校 ( 统称接收院校 ) 攻读汉语国际教育专业本科学位汉语国际教育专业硕士学位, 或学习汉语言文学中国历史中国哲学专业 For the purpose of supporting the development of Confucius Institutes, facilitating Chinese language promotion and Chinese cultural transmission in the world, cultivating qualified Chineselanguage teachers and excellent Chinese-language students, Confucius Institute Headquarters / Hanban launches the Confucius Institute Scholarship program. The program will sponsor foreign students, scholars and Chinese-language teachers proceed to a Bachelor s Degree or Master s Degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (BTCSOL or MTCSOL), or study in such majors as Chinese Language and Literature, Chinese History and Chinese Philosophy in designated universities of China (hereinafter referred to as "Host Institutes"). 孔子学院奖学金设立于 2009 年截止 2013 年, 共资助来自 150 个国家的 20,000 余人来华学习 Confucius Institute Scholarship Program was established in By 2013, more than 20,000 applicants from 150 countries have been funded to study in China. 2

3 一招生类别及申请条件 I. Scholarship Category and Eligibility Criteria 奖学金招生类别是汉语国际教育专业硕士一学年研修 + 汉语国际教育专业硕士汉语国际教育本科一学年研修生和一学期研修生招生对象为非中国籍人士, 身体健康, 年龄一般在 16 至 35 周岁之间 ( 在职汉语教师可放宽至 45 周岁, 本科生限 20 周岁 ) 具体申请条件以当年孔子学院奖学金招生办法为准 The scholarship of 2014 is divided into 5 categories: Scholarship for Students of Master's Degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages(MTCSOL) Scholarship for Students of One-Academic-Year + MTCSOL Scholarship for Students of Bachelor's Degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages(BTCSOL) Scholarship for One-Academic-Year Students Scholarship for One-Semester Students Applicants shall be non-chinese citizens in good health, aged between 16 and 35 (Chinese language teachers in post shall be aged below 45, and applicants for BTCSOL scholarship should be aged below 20). 4 费生活费, 提供住宿门诊医疗服务和来华留学生综合保险其中, 生活费标准是 : 一学期和一学年研修生本科生人民币 1400 元 / 月 ; 汉语国际教育专业硕士生人民币 1700 元 / 月一次性安置费标准是 : 发给在华学习时间为一学年 ( 含 ) 以上者人民币 1500 元 / 人 ; 发给在华学习时间为一学期者人民币 1000 元 / 人 ; 录取前已在华学习半年以上者, 不再发给一次性安置费 Scholarship recipients are exempt from registration fees, tuition, fees for basic learning materials, accommodation fees on campus, and are provided with one-off resettlement subsidy, monthly allowance, outpatient medical service and comprehensive insurance for foreign students studying in China. Monthly allowances are at the following rates (CNY Yuan per month): a. CNY 1,400 for one-semester students, one-academic-year students and students undertaking BTCSOL. b. CNY 1,700 for students undertaking MTCSOL. Recruitment Procedures 1. 自招生办法发布之日起, 申请者可登陆孔子学院奖学金网站 ( chinese.cn) 注册个人账号, 查询接收院校及专业信息, 在线填写提交孔子学院奖学金申请表 From the issue date of the Procedures, applicants should log on to the Confucius Institute Scholarship website at set up an individual account, read information and introduction of host institutes and majors, complete and submit the Confucius Institute Scholarship Application Form online. 4

5 2. 孔子学院总部委托各国孔子学院 ( 独立设置的孔子课堂 ), 有关海外汉语考试考点, 中国驻外使 ( 领 ) 馆教育文化处 ( 组 ), 接收院校和未建孔子学院国家的有关高等学校接受申请人报名, 并选拔推荐奖学金候选人 Confucius Institutes (independently set-up Confucius Classrooms), overseas Chinese test centers, educational and cultural offices (sections) of Chinese Embassies (Consulates), host institutes and institutions of higher education in those countries with no Confucius Institutes are entrusted by Confucius Institute Headquarters to accept applications, select and recommend eligible candidates for the scholarship. 3. 接收院校负责审核申请者入学资格 Host institutes are responsible for reviewing the qualification of applicants. 4. 孔子学院总部组织专家进行综合评审, 对符合条件者授予奖学金, 并在奖学金网站公布获奖者名单, 同时经推荐机构通知申请者本人 Confucius Institute Headquarters will organize an expert panel to make the final selection and publish the name list of successful applicants on the Scholarship website, which will be informed to applicants through recommending institutions. 5. 接收院校负责将录取通知书报到须知外国留学人员来华签证申请表 (JW202 表 ) 孔子学院奖学金证书复印件等入学材料寄达推荐机构, 北京语言大学孔子学院奖学金生参加拓展活动 Confucius Institute Scholarship students attending the outreach activities, organized by Beijing Language and Culture University 厦门大学孔子学院奖学金生参观曲阜 Students who study at Xiamen University under Confucius Institute scholarships visiting Qufu 5

6 由推荐机构转交申请者本人 The host institutes will post Admission Notice, Enrollment Instructions, Visa Application Form for Foreigners to Study in China" (JW202 Form) and photocopies of Confucius Institute Scholarship Certificate to successful applicants through their recommending institutions. 四申请材料 IV. Application Documents 申请者须登录奖学金网站, 填写孔子学院奖学金申请表, 并附上以下证明材料的电子文档 : Applicants must log onto the Scholarship website, fill out the Confucius Institute Scholarship Application Form, and attach the electronic files of the following materials: 1. 护照照片页 Photocopy of Passport photo page. 2.HSK HSKK 成绩报告 Photocopy of HSK and HSKK score reports. 3. 经过公证的最高学历 ( 毕业预定证明或在校学习证明 ) Notarized highest education diplomas attained (scheduled graduation proof or official proof of study). 4. 推荐信及承诺书汉语国际教育专业硕士申请者须同时提交两名副教授以上职称导师的推荐信 ( 用中文或英文书写 ), 以及毕业后至少从事 5 年汉语教学工作的承诺书未建孔子学院国家的有关高校中文专业学生, 须另提供校长签发的推荐信 Reference Letter and Letter of Commitment. The Master s Degree Scholarship applicants are required to submit reference letters provided by two professors or associate professors (in Chinese or English). A written commitment stating that the applicant will be engaged in Chinese language teaching for at least 5 years after graduation (written in Chinese and sign with signature). Students attending Chinese language programs of universities in countries with no Confucius Institutes established shall attach a reference letter signed and issued by the university President. 5. 未满 18 周岁的申请者, 须提交委托在华法定监护人的相关法律文件 Applications under the age of 18 shall submit relevant legal documents of entrusted legal guardians in China. 6. 汉语桥世界大中学生中文比赛来华复赛获奖者须提供奖学金证书各国分赛区优胜者须提供获奖证明和赛区主办单位出具的推荐函 Winners of the finals of the Chinese Bridge Chinese Proficiency Competitions for Foreign College Students and for Foreign High School Students in China shall submit the scholarship certificate. Winners of preliminary rounds of the Chinese Bridge Proficiency Competitions in 6

7 上海外国语大学孔子学院奖学金生参加学校运动会 Confucius Institute Scholarship students attending the University Sports at Shanghai International Studies University their countries shall provide award proof and reference letter provided by the organizers. 7. 在职汉语教师须提交就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信 Chinese language teachers shall submit certificate of employment and recommendation letters provided by institutes they work for. 8. 申请一学年研修 + 汉语国际教育专业硕士连读学习的, 须提交与孔子学院或拟任教单位签订的协议 Applicants for scholarship of One-Academic-Year + MTCSOL are required to provide the agreement signed with the Confucius Institute or the institute which they will be working for. 9. 接收院校所需的其他证明材料 Other materials required by host institutes. 五年度评审 V. Annual Appraisal 按照孔子学院奖学金年度评审办法的规定, 汉语国际教育本科生和专业硕士生 ( 含一学年研修 + 汉语国际教育专业硕士生 ) 须参加年度评审, 符合条件者方可继续享受下一年度奖学金 Students undertaking BTCSOL or MTCSOL (including One-Academic-Year + MTCSOL),shall be subject to an annual appraisal organized by the host institutes before the end of the first school year after being enrolled according to the Annual Appraisal Procedures for Confucius Institute Scholarship.
