Indeed a moment in time reflecting the greatness of the ancient Egypt civilization! Experience a camel ride on the desert dunes and stop by the Papyrus Institute & Perfume factory to observe the making of souvenirs. Camel Ride Lastly, see the Step Pyramids of Djoser, Saqqara. Its distinctive architectural style identifies it as being among the oldest stone building in Egypt. DAY 04 Cairo (Hotel Breakfast/Local Lunch/Asian Dinner) Cairo City Tour Visit the Egyptian Museum, which houses the richest collection of antiquities from the 7000 years of Egyptian civilization. Our visit include admission to the Mummies room. After lunch, visit the Hanging Church, also known as The Saint Virgin Mary Coptic Orthodox Church. View the Coptic Orthodox Church of St. Barbara & Babylon Fortress, an ancient fortress city or castle in the Delta of Egypt, Coptic Cairo. Spend some time at Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the Middle East greatest bazaar and the heart of Islamic Cairo heritage. DAY 05 Cairo Khan El Khalili Bazaar Aswan (Hotel Breakfast/Cruise Lunch/Cruise Dinner) After breakfast, transfer to airport for domestic flight to Aswan City. Aswan City Tour Start the tour visiting The High Dam, one of the largest dams in the world. DAY 06 Aswan Abu Simbel Aswan Kom Ombo Edfu (Breakfast Box/Cruise Lunch/Cruise Dinner) Abu Simbel Tour Early in the morning, disembark from the ship and join the Abu Simbel tour by coach travelling with police convoys. Visit the two most magnificent temples in the world: The Great Temple (Ramses II) and the small temple (Nefertari) of Abu Simbel. These temples are unique both in style and in their setting on the banks of Lake Nasser. Their relocation is an achievement supported and managed by UNESCO. Kom Ombo Tour Return the ship and continue enjoy our tranquil cruising along the River of Nile, longest river in Africa (6,670 km) and second longest in the world. Sail to Kom Ombo, visit the Kom Ombo Temple, standing on the east bank of the Nile. Reboard the ship and relax as it glides by primitive villages to your next destination - Edfu. Tonight, enjoy your dinner with theme party on board. Tonight, stay onboard overnight as the ship reaches Luxor. DAY 08 Luxor Passing Esna Lock (Cruise Breakfast/Local Lunch/Hotel Dinner) After breakfast, your wonderful cruise comes to an end as you disembark from the ship. Luxor City Tour On the west bank, visit Valley of the Kings in Upper Egypt, resting place for many tombs of pharaohs from the New Kingdom, including Tutankhamun & Ramesses the Great. See the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut with a large kneeling Hapshepsut. Visit to an Alabaster Factory for a better understanding of the process of alabaster making. In the afternoon, proceed to east bank of Luxor to visit the Temple of Luxor, dedicated by Ramses II, the greatest builder of ancient Egypt. See the Obelisk of Ramses II in front of the first Pylon. Sunbeams inside The Sun Temple, Abu Simbel DAY 07 Edfu Esna Luxor (Cruise Breakfast/Cruise Lunch/Cruise Dinner) Edfu and Esna Disembark from ship and visit the Temple of Edfu which is dedicated to Horus. Excavation begun in the mid-19th century to uncover the temple that was buried by sand. Re-board the ship and start sailing to Luxor. Witness the mechanics of passing through the Esna Lock, an eye opening process to savour. DAY 09 Luxor Depart for home Cairo/ (Hotel Breakfast/Local Lunch/ -) Visit the imposing Citadel of Saladin perched on top of Muqattam Hill. At the apex of citadel lies the iconic Mohamed Ali Mosque, which was built in 1830 by the ruler of Egypt, Mohammad Ali Pasha, widely regarded as the founder of modern Egypt. Bid farewell to this unforgettable journey and transfer to Luxor International Airport for flight back home via Cairo. DAY 10 Arrival Home Arrival home with sweet memories.
