6 Abstract The Soviet Union s pattern built by Stalin was the first socialist pattern in the world, it had importantly affected Chinese socialist building career. In the past over twenty years after New China was built, Chinese socialist building was closely linked with the pattern. All these that Chinese socialist building theory, including the forming of many important decision-making, successes and errors of Chinese socialist building related to CCP s recognition of the Soviet Union s pattern. It is an important task of the people s Republic to research the recognition of CCP who comrade Mao Ze-dong was main representative. We go deep into researching the task in order to clarify some important problems appeared in the course of Chinese socialist building, to sum up completely Chinese socialist building experiences and lessons, to serve building socialism with Chinese characteristics. Leading off by analyzing Lean To One Side Policy brought forward by CCP, the thesis narrates the change course of CCP s recognition of the Soviet Union s pattern, discusses reason why there were the change, and influence upon Chinese socialist building. The thesis is composed of the introduction, seven chapters and conclusion. The main contents of the introduction are as follows. Firstly, the introduction discusses the object of the thesis, namely CCP s recognition of the Soviet Union s pattern from 1949 to Though people have had a great deal discussion about the pattern, there have been not many articles that research the Soviet Union s pattern from the angle of CCP leaders recognition, many domains have been not researched by people, so it has important theoretical value, but also flesh and blood meaning. Secondly, the thesis in which there seven chapters mainly discusses the change course of CCP s recognition of the Soviet Union s pattern from 1949 to Chapter 1 mainly studies the problem imitate the Soviet Union s pattern to found New China. Chapter 2 mainly discusses the relation between socialist transformation and the Soviet Union s pattern. Chapter 3 mainly analyses CCP s thinking of the pattern. Chapter 4 mainly studies Poland and Hungary events and CCP s recognition the Soviet Union s pattern. Chapter 5 mainly discusses the big frog, people commune and the Soviet Union s pattern. This chapter mainly discusses the problem. Firstly, CCP paused new democratic building, and brought forward interim general line. Secondly, men of CCP with Mao Ze-dong as major representative affirmed the movements of Soviet Union s industrialization and agricultural collectivizeand carried through Chinese socialist transformation referred to Soviet Union s manners. Finally, they understood what socialism was according to the Soviet Union s pattern. In 1956, after socialist transformation was fulfilled basically, the Soviet Union s pattern s socialism was established in China. China began to carry on planned economy, production materials public ownership became alone economic base. Chapter 3 mainly discusses that CCP thought of the Soviet Union s pattern after the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of Soviet Union. The Soviet Union s pattern began to betray it s abuses after the pattern was moved to China. Chapter 4 analyse the influence that Poland and Hungary events affected CCP s recognition the Soviet Union s pattern. The reason why Poland and Hungary events happened was result that two countries leaders copied the Soviet Union s pattern for a long time. CCP realized the relation between Poland and Hungary events and the Soviet Union s pattern, but they linked the events and class struggle together, as a result, they enlarged the recognition of class struggle. In the article, Mao Ze-dong discussed two sorts of conflicts exist socialism, and broke through Stalin s theory about socialism conflicts. But, Mao Ze-dong localized his recognition of Poland and Hungary events, so he brought forward some false opinions. As a result, Mao Ze-dong returned to Stalin s opinion in class conflict, and made it absolute. Chapter 5 discusses the relation between Big Frog, People Commune and the Soviet Union s pattern. Mao Ze-dong launched Big Frog and People Commune Movement in order to broke through the Soviet Union s pattern, but Mao Ze-dong was fettered by Stalin s socialist ownership system theory, so he pursued unilaterally large and public in ownership form, he was anxious to transform ownership form, and to go to communism. Chinese People Commune was reprint of Soviet Union s collective farm in fact. Being affected by this, Mao Ze-dong launched Big Frog and People Commune Movement. In the course of correcting Left error, CCP studied Stalin s <Soviet Union s Socialist Economic Problem> and Soviet Union s <Political e conomy Textbook>, and affirmed Stalin s thought of socialist ownership form and commodity. As a result, not only broke through the Soviet Union s pattern, but also the pattern was driven to extremes in ownership and transition. Chapter 6 mainly discusses the controversy and safeguard the Soviet Union. In 1960 s, Soviet Union and east Europe countries reformed traditional Soviet Union s pattern, but CCP stood the position safeguarded to estimate whether carried on socialism or walked capitalist road. CCP thought it was necessary to carried out collective ownership and complete ownership, and to carry on planned economy, country must monopolize external trade, according to this recognition, CCP thought that Soviet Union and Yugoslavia had come back capitalism, and only was China a real socialist country.

9 Chapter 7 emphasizes Cultural Revolution and CCP safeguarded the Soviet Union s pattern. That is to say, Mao Ze-dong launched Cultural Revolution in order to safeguard the Soviet Union s pattern. Idea and culture system returned to the Soviet Union s system, class struggle theory was driven to extremes, finally, Cultural Revolution broke out. During Cultural Revolution, on the one hand, China criticized Soviet Union s reformation, and couldn t rightly understand the character of Soviet Union s politics, economy, culture and society, on the other hand, criticized Chinese revisionism. This thesis makes great effort to have new discovery and breakthrough. Firstly, completely expatiates change course that men of CCP who with Mao Ze-dong as main representative understood the Soviet Union s pattern, and the recognition had influence on Chinese socialist building. Secondly, particularly discusses the relation between Big, People Commune Movement and the Soviet Union s pattern, it s starting-point was to break through the Soviet Union s pattern, as a result, the Soviet Union s pattern was driven to extremes in ownership and transition. Thirdly, mainly discusses CCP s recognition of socialist ownership and planned-economy, in order to explain why CCP safeguarded the Soviet Union s pattern, and reason why CCP estimated whether carried on socialism or came back capitalism according to the position. Finally, completely expatiates the relation between Culture Revolution and the Soviet Union s pattern, and CCP s recognition of character of Soviet Union s politics, economy, culture and society in the days.
