2 第 432 四纪研究 2008 年图 1 取样站位图 Fig11 Sites of cores 化曲线表 1 AM S C测年结果 HD77 HD133 深度 / cm 年龄 / ab 1 P ± ± ± ± ±100 对比, 参照 4 个 AM S C年代数据控制点 18 以及综合分析δ O曲线特征, 显示本研究的系统柱 Table 1 Data of AM S C dating 柱状样 [ 15 ] 状样大致记录了晚更新世以来的沉积 4 分析结果从分析结果来看, 南海北部陆坡区晚更新世以来的碳酸盐分布大致可以分为 3 区 (见图 1 ) : 中区典型冰期旋回分布区东区缺乏明显旋回性区和西区旋回性特征不典型区 3 年龄确定为了确定时代和进行对比,对东区的 HD196 和西区的 HX132 柱状样进行了氧碳稳定同位素分析中区典型的冰期旋回从分析南海北部的众多柱状样来看 (图 2 ), 中稳定同位素的取样与碳酸盐取样间距相同, 挑选浮区大致从海南东侧至粤东以南的上陆坡, 其碳酸盐游有孔虫 Globigerinoides saccu lifer 进行分析旋回特征明显, 为典型的大西洋旋回, 可以与已 HD196 的氧碳稳定同位素在德国基尔大学测试, 进行的许多研究对比这些碳酸盐分布特征是深海 HX132 在同济大学海洋地质重点实验室测试对氧同位素的奇数期, 如 M IS 1, M IS 3 含量高, 而偶 [ 3, 4 ] 东部的 HD77 和 HD133 进行了 5 个样品的 AM S C 数期如 M IS 2,M IS 4 含量低测年, 样品测试在基尔大学完成, 结果见表 1 与氧同位素曲线相似, 经常被看成氧同位素曲线的 HD77 柱状样 m 测年数据出现倒置, 岩性替代,作为地层划分的依据但碳酸盐周期比氧同记录该层位粒度相对较粗,可能是浊流的产物位素周期略有超前,M IS 1 /M IS 2 的分界出现在根据东区 HD196 和西区 HX132 柱状样的浮游有孔虫 G1 saccu lifer的δ O曲线与 SPECMAPδ O标准碳酸盐含量的第二高值处 [ 16 ] 碳酸盐曲线整体柱状样 HS35 的碳酸盐曲线相当典型, M IS 1

It is considered that the Late Pleistocene carbonate cycles are the A tlantic style in the area above the carbonate lysocline dep th (CLD), and the Pacific style in the area deeper than CLD. However, after more cores being researched, more excep tional cases, which do not show the A tlantic cycles in the above CLD area, have been found, especially in the western area of the northern SCS and the eastern Dongsha area. It can be concluded that the change of the carbonate cycles is mainly due to the change of terrigenous material supp ly in glacial2interglacial cycles. Three areas, the eastern, central, and western areas, can be recognized in the northern SCS. The carbonate cycles in the central area are typ ical A tlantic style, while it is not typ ical in the western area, especially in the area closer to Hainan Island, and even no cycle feature has been found in the eastern area. It is suggested that it is mainly due to the wider shelf and gentler slope in the central area w ith the marked change of the terrigenous m aterial supp ly in glacial2interglacial cycles. The terrigenous m aterial in the eastern area may chiefly come from Taiwan Island and its supp ly on the narrow shelf and quite steep slope m ay be not so different in the glacial2interglacial cycles. The shelf in the western area is narrower than that in the central area and the two p rovenances of the main land of China and Hainan Island may cause the carbonate cycles comp licated.
