The altitude rages between 427 330 m. In 2006, Asia Cement Greening Team developed an eco-greening bag method to minimize the landscape restoration time for the quarried slope. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of the vegetation restoration efforts in the sampling slots for the period of 3-month, 6-month, and one-year. Results showed that 13 species of woody plants and 60 species of herbs restored 75% of the landscape in 3-month plots; 11 species of woody plants and 36 species of herbs, 100% coverage in 6-months plots; and 8 species of woody plants with an average tree height 2.12 m and 26 herb species in oneyear plots. Although the number of species for the vegetation restoration appears to decrease, the restored vegetation became a secondary forest. The eco-greening bag method accomplished a green landscape in 3 months. The vegetation reached a total coverage of 100% in 6 months. A year later, landscape vegetation coverage was 100% complete and the pioneer dominant tree species such as Broussonetia papyrifera, Boehmeria frutescens and Trema orientalis, and the vegetation became a secondary forest. Finally, we compared the effectiveness of vegetation restoration of the eco-greening bag method with reference to the rock wall platform greening method.
