前置作業 - 下載與安裝 EndNote 右鍵解壓縮 產生資料夾 EndnoteX9 EndnoteX9 請勿直接在壓縮包中執行安裝檔! 安裝前請記得請先關閉所有 Office 檔案 ENX9Inst 請勿刪除! ( 單位購買序號 )
單位名稱 單位序號 簡易安裝, 安裝基本 490 多種書目格式模板 客製化安裝, 可選擇完整 6900 多種書目格式模板進行安裝 ( 建議選項 )
前置作業 - 建立個人 EndNote Library
暫時不做 EndNote 帳號設定, 可點選 [X] 關閉畫面 可點此連結進行 EndNote 帳號設定
EndNote 產生的檔案有兩個 My Endnote Library.Data My Endnote Library.enl 夾帶檔案會同時建立副本存放於此資料夾 存放書目資料及開啟之檔案
資料匯入 資料庫 資料庫匯出的選項可能是 : Export, Download, Cite, EndNote, Save, Send to, Citation manager, Citation, RIS format ( 輸出 匯出 引用 儲存 ) 下載後的檔案直接點選自動匯入 : *.enw / *.ris / *. ciw / *.nbib

強化連結 Web of Science 若 reference 的 Accession Number 具有 Web of Science ID 或是 PubMed ID 等識別碼, 即可串連至 Web of Science 亦可針對整個 Group 中的 references, 執行 Create Citation Report 功能 使用此功能需有 Web of Science 資料庫權限
Accession Number( 識別碼 ) 從 WOS 或 Pubmed 匯入進來的書目資料中, Accession Number 即會有對應的識別碼

Create Citation Reports: 建立引用文獻報告
引用文獻報告可分析該主題的總體趨勢, 例如透過被引用次數折線圖可看出歷年來此主題之引用狀況分析其是否屬於目前研究熱點
可調整年份 頁面下方呈現每一年的被引用次數, 可分析歷年來引用狀況
資料匯入 Find Full Text EndNote 的全文查找, 主要查找 : Web of Science Full Text Links DOI PubMed LinkOut 查找全文請勿一次太多筆, 某些資料來源系統會鎖 IP
在 EndNote Library 中點選要查找全文的書目資料, 按住 Ctrl 鍵可不連續複選, 按 Shift 鍵連續多選
找到該書目全文並同時夾帶 PDF 提供全文串接網址 ( 下載權限依機構而定 )
資料匯入 自行鍵入 須注意三個地方 : 1. 文獻類型 [Reference Type] 要選擇正確 2. 一個作者一行, 兩個作者兩行, 以此類推 3. 當以英文輸入時, 作者姓氏在前要加逗點, 如 : Wang, Da Min 姓氏在後不用加逗點 偷吃步? 可用 Online Search 或是 Google Scholar 匯入
輸入欄位前, 請記得要先選好文獻類型 ( 欄位名稱會改變 )
寫作 插入引文 EndNote 是透過 Insert Citation(s) 來產生 Reference(s), 使用者要先把滑鼠游標移動到要引用的地方後再點選 Insert Citation(s) Reference(s) 會自動產生的!!!
插入引文的方法 (1) Insert Citation
2. 回到 Endnote 1. 先將滑鼠游標移動到要插入引文的地方
點選快捷鍵可快速切換至 Word 檔中插入引用的書目資料 ( 需先在 Word 中選定好要插入引文的位置 ) 在 EndNote Library 中點選要引用的書目資料, 按住 Ctrl 鍵可複選
插入引文的方法 (2) Insert Citation
1. 選擇欲插入引文的文獻 ( 可用 Ctrl 或 Shift 多選 ) 2. 點按 Insert 插入
寫作 更換格式 若在 Word 中顯示的格式並非使用者想要呈現的格式, 使用者可以利用 Style 的下拉選單進行選擇更換 Reference(s) 會跟著更新!!!
下拉式選單會列出常用的書目格式, 亦可點選 [Select Another Style] 選擇更多格式 選擇要使用的格式後點選 [OK]
引文及參考文獻可看出以 Nature 格式呈現
可點選該圖示進行細節微調 例如 : 增加 Reference List 文字
寫作 編輯引文 / 参考文獻 更換格式後, 使用者還是必須要檢查是否格式正確, 若需修改 Citation 或是 Reference, 請利用 EndNote 工具列中的 Edit & Manage Citation(s) Reference(s) 更要檢查!!!
可在引文中插入字首與後綴詞與頁碼, 例如想顯示如下格式 : ( 請參照 Binfield, 2008, P. 123, 圖 1) 可回到 EndNote Library 中更改該參考文獻的書目資料內容 查看該參考文獻是否有更新的書目資料內容 移除引文 插入引文 從現有 library 中更新資料
引文顯示格式 預設值 顯示作者 ( 年代 ) 不顯示作者 不顯示作者與年代 只在文末顯示參考文獻
工具 更新引文與參考文獻資料 進入書目格式設定畫面 將文中的書目資料匯出至另一個或是現有的 EndNote library 中
若需編輯參考文獻, 可利用 Edit Reference 進入 EndNote Library 中編輯
寫作 移除参數 EndNote 参數一旦移除就無法回復, 移除参數前務必將目前的檔案先儲存好 参數移除後的檔案為單純的 Word 檔, 使用者可任意編輯!!!
移除參數後另外產生的 Word 檔案 ( 未儲存 )
寫作投稿分析 在 Word 上撰寫研究文章後, 可以將此帶有參數的文件檔利用 Manuscript Matcher 功能, 導向 Endnote 選刊系統, 提供適合投稿的期刊列表及策略分析 需有 Endnote 個人化帳號 ( 可免費註冊 )

管理 Groups 使用者可以透過 EndNote Library 中的 Groups 功能來分類管理個人 EndNote 檔案中的文獻資料 EndNote 提供了三種 Groups 型態
Group: 一般群組, 使用者自訂分類 From Groups: 集合群組, 利用現用群組進行交集 聯集或是排除而產生的群組分類 Smart Group: 智慧群組, 使用者訂下篩選條件, 符合的文獻資料自動進入該群組
輸入群組名稱 群組內目前沒有任何文獻資料 (0)
在 EndNote Library 中點選要分類的文獻資料, 按住 Ctrl 鍵可複選, 選好後按拖曳至群組內
記得要輸入群組名稱 ( 自訂 )! 使用者訂下篩選條件, 符合的文獻資料自動進入該群組

管理 備份 太多慘烈的教訓! 備份真的非常重要 非常重要 非常重要 很重要, 要說三次!!!
EndNote 產生的檔案有兩個, 請備份該兩檔案 或是利用 File > Compressed Library 功能進行檔案壓縮備份 Sample_Library X9.data Sample_Library X9.enl
壓縮檔是個保險的概念! 需要時, 檔案連點兩下就自動解壓縮了
管理 同步分享與修訂紀錄 有別於 EndnoteX8 桌機板只可共享整個 Library, EndnoteX9 可個別對群組進行分享及調整對象權限 權限也可於分享後自由更改!
