1 王怡牧师 Mandarin 亲爱的唐牧师, 各位牧师同工, 还有弟兄姐妹, 平安我是一位中国家庭教会的牧师我不能来参加这次大会, 说明这次大会很重要在但以理感受到极大的争战的时候, 耶和华的使者向他显现, 说我来晚了 21 天, 是因为我与波斯的魔君争战, 所以有天使长米迦勒来帮助我, 要将神的国祂的百姓将来所要遇到的称赞要来告诉他们我们感谢主, 带领着全球的华人教会, 带领着中国的家庭教会我想跟大家分享, 在我的侍奉当中, 在我的这些年所看见的, 在今天的中国家庭教会的身上, 我认为有三个非常重要的传统塑造着今天的中国这一代的家庭教会 : 第一个是宗教改革五百年以来的, 这是藉着清教徒, 藉着马里逊一直传到中国来, 我们所持守的宗教改革的归正的信仰和神学第二个传统就是这六十多年来, 中国家庭教会持守那古旧的福音, 走十字架的道路的受苦的道路, 当中的生命的传统和教会的道路第三个传统, 就是神在整个海外的华人教会最近几十年所兴起的所使用的归正福音运动这三个传统今天在一起影响, 在一起塑造著今天的中国家庭教会, 这三个传统是两千年的基督教大公的生命的传统使徒所传的, 我主耶稣基督的福音在我们身上的具体的呈现的方式我心中一直有两幅画面, 让我看到教会在这个时代的使命一副画面是我曾经亲眼看过, 我在网上也看过这样的图片, 是一个中国农村信徒的家裡面的中堂挂著两幅画, 左边一副是主耶稣基督, 右边一副是毛泽东, 也许最近换成了习近平另一幅是, 是我在香港一个基督教研究机构里面看到, 第二幅画面是十字架跟莲花宝座连在一起今天在中国最关键的问题不是你有没有基督教信仰, 而是一种混杂的基督教信仰归正的福音, 不但面对的是一个不信的世界, 而且面对的是一个混杂的基督教, 在这个时代, 在我们生活当中, 在教会当中的一个蔓延所以两千年来, 教会在全力传讲耶稣基督的福音, 一直所面对的一个非常重要的衝突和张力, 就是凯撒崇拜与基督的崇拜就是基督问彼得说 : 你说我是谁, 你是基督, 你是永生神的儿子, 甚至你是王, 甚至你是今天说王不触动现代基督徒的心如果换做一个我们更熟悉的词, 你是元首, 你就会看到在今天的中国, 凯撒的崇拜与基督的崇拜这一场大的属灵争战仍然在我们的身上第二, 在宗教改革之后, 特别是启蒙运动法国大革命以后, 西方进入到一个后基督教的时代, 然后有一种对西方来讲, 前所未有的一个东西已经产生出来, 那就是国家的主权, 或者叫现代的主权国家因此最重要的不是单单地问你是否信耶稣, 而是国家的主权, 跟上帝的主权, 在教会在一个基督徒的生命当中的位置和争战我想, 今天魔鬼在今天的中国社会和中国教会也有三个旷野中的试探, 一个指向那万国的荣华, 就是政治上的一种国家崇拜, 就是政治上的一个万国的荣华指给这个古老的民族, 这个庞大的政治共同体看第二个就是指向一个文化上的一种民族主义整个 49 年以后, 三自爱国运动在中国所试图建立起来的, 试图得着政府的一个支持, 一个压力, 所要建立起来的就是割裂教会的大公性, 割裂耶稣基督的主权的一个民族主义的教会一种文化上的民族主义, 一种大国正在崛起的民族的神话甚至是每一个中国基督徒的生命当中的, 你要嘛是一个羞耻的, 是一个世人看为屈辱的, 耶稣基督在十字架上死而复活的神的话 ; 要嘛就是一个古老的, 而且在今天沉渣泛起的一个民族的神话

2 第三, 是指向那一个将石头变成麵包现代的经济和市场的崛起所带来的一个虚假的福音今天的中国教会, 当我们谈到归正的信仰的时候, 我深深地看见这一点, 我相信这一点, 只有归正的信仰才能够在今天的中国社会传扬一个整全的圣经的世界观高举上帝的主权, 并且将焦点置于那一位不是通过世人看为成功的道路, 而是走向十字架的那一个羞耻的道路的十字架的唯独祂的恩典的福音, 才能够帮助今天的中国教会, 胜过魔鬼撒旦在今天中国社会的这三个试探只有耶稣基督祂是神的形象神本体的真像, 才能够在中国的社会以及每一个中国人灵魂里面, 打碎毛泽东的相和习近平的相只有那一个看为屈辱的十字架的福音, 才能将那个民族的神话, 和那一个把把石头变成麵包的经济的神话, 对每一个中国人, 包括对每一个基督徒生命的辖制彻底打破唯有中国教会持续走在这条路上, 让我说, 无论是来自中国的基督徒, 还是在这边的基督徒, 让我说中国的家庭教会, 要继续走十字架的道路中国的家庭教会要在归正的信仰当中, 更深地认识唯独高举神的主权, 和祂恩惠的福音, 才能够在中国社会使我主耶稣基督恩典的国度福音的国度荣耀的国度, 在我们当中扩展才能够帮助, 有一天帮助全球的华人社会, 乃至于普世的教会, 中国教会才能成为其中的一个祝福我渴望, 我们这一代的年轻的同工年轻的信徒能够持守那云彩 REFORMATION JAKARTA 2017 般的见证人, 能够领受在中国教会的这三个传统, 能够求主帮助我们来胜过魔鬼在今天中国社会, 和中国人心灵当中的这三个试探, 带领我们与主同行, 带领我们一起来奔跑这十字架的道路奉主耶稣基督的名, 愿神祝福你们, 愿神祝福这一代, 愿主怜悯这一代的中国的教会阿们 2

Stephen Tong dan Pendeta-pendeta rekan sepelayanan yang lain, juga saudara saudari skalian yang saya cintai, Salam damai sejahtera! Saya adalah seorang Pendeta gereja rumah tangga di Tiongkok. Saya tidak bisa berpartisipasi di konferensi ini, ini menandakan bahwa konferensi ini sangat penting. Pada saat Daniel merasa akan menghadapi peperangan yang sangat besar, malaikat Tuhan menampakan diri kepada dia dan mengatakan : saya datang terlambat 21 hari, karena saya berperang dengan pemimpin kerajaan Persia. Karena itu penghulu malaikat Mikhael datang menolong aku, untuk memberitahukan hal tentang kerajaan Allah dan peperangan yang akan dihadapi oleh umatnya nanti. Kita bersyukur kepada Tuhan yang memimpin seluruh gereja orang Tionghoa di seluruh dunia dan gereja rumah tangga di Tiongkok. Saya ingin sharing dengan saudara sekalian tentang hal-hal yang saya saksikan dalam pelayanan saya beberapa tahun ini. Menurut saya,di gereja rumah tangga di Tiongkok saat ini ada 3 tradisi yang sangat penting yang membentuk gereja rumah tangga generasi ini. Yang pertama : iman dan theologi reformed yang kita pertahankan sejak reformasi 500 tahun yang lalu, yang dibawa ke Tiongkok melalui orang puritan, Morrison. Tradisi yang kedua : Selama 60 tahun lebih, gereja rumah tangga di Tiongkok tetap mempertahankan Injil yang mula-mula, menapaki jalan salib,tradisi kehidupan di jalan yang penuh penderitaan dan jalan gereja. Tradisi yang ketiga : yaitu gerakan reformed Injili yang Tuhan pakai beberapa puluh tahun ini di dalam gereja orang Tionghoa di luar Tiongkok. Ketiga tradisi ini bersama-sama memberikan pengaruh, bersama-sama membentuk gereja rumah tangga di Tiongkok hari ini. Ketiga tradisi ini adalah tradisi kehidupan Kristen yang Am --- yang diberitakan oleh rasulrasul, Injil Tuhan kita Yesus Kristus yang diwujudkan secara konkrit dalam diri kita. Di dalam hati saya senantiasa ada dua buah lukisan, saya melihat misi gereja di dalam zaman ini. Lukisan pertama yang pernah saya lihat dengan mata kepala sendiri, saya juga pernah melihat lukisan seperti ini di internet. Yaitu di dalam satu rumah orang Kristen di desa di Tiongkok digantung dua buah gambar, yang sebelah kiri adalah Tuhan Yesus Kristus, yang sebelah kanan adalah Mao Zedong, mungkin akhir-akhir ini diganti menjadi gambar Xi Jinping. Lukisan yang kedua adalah lukisan yang saya lihat di sebuah lembaga penelitian Kristen di Hongkong, yaitu lukisan salib disatukan dengan tahta bunga teratai. Hari ini di Tiongkok, masalah yang paling penting bukanlah apakah engkau mempunyai iman kepercayaan Kristen atau tidak, melainkan ada iman Kristen yang campur aduk. Injil reformed bukan saja berhadapan dengan dunia yang tidak percaya, tetapi juga berhadapan dengan Kristen yang campur aduk, yang sedang tersebar di zaman ini, di dalam kehidupan kita, dan juga di dalam gereja. Selama 2000 tahun, gereja berusaha sekuat mungkin mengabarkan Injil tentang Yesus Kristus, tapi senantiasa berhadapan dengan satu konflik dan kekuatan lawan arah, yaitu penyembahan terhadap kaisar dan penyembahan terhadap Kristus. Kristus bertanya kepada Petrus, menurut kamu saya ini siapa? Engkau adalah Kristus, anak Allah yang kekal, bahkan engkau adalah Tuhan. Hari ini engkau mengatakan raja --- tidak menyinggung perasaan hati orang Kristen dewasa ini. Tapi kalau digantikan dengan satu istilah yang kita lebih kenal, engkau pemimpin, engkau akan melihat penyembahan terhadap kaisar dan penyembahan terhadap Kristus. Peperangan rohani yang besar ini masih berlangsung di atas diri kita. Yang kedua, sesudah reformasi, gerakan enlightment, revolusi Perancis, dunia barat masuk ke dalam Post Christian era. Bagi dunia barat, ada sesuatu yang dulu tidak pernah ada sekarang muncul, yaitu kedaulatan suatu negara, atau disebut negara berdaulat masa kini. Karena itu yang paling penting bukan hanya engkau percaya Yesus atau tidak, melainkan adanya peperangan antara kedaulatan negara dan kedaulatan Tuhan, bagaimana posisi kedua hal ini di dalam gereja maupun di dalam kehidupan orang Kristen. Saya rasa, terhadap masyarakat Tiongkok hari ini, iblis juga ada 3 pencobaan di padang gurun. Yang kesatu : semua kerajaan dunia dengan kemegahannya, yaitu semacam penyembahan kepada negara secara politik. Semua kerajaan dunia dengan kemegahannya diperlihatkan kepada bangsa yang sudah tua ini, kepada komunitas politik yang akbar ini. Yang kedua menunjuk kepada semacam nasionalisme di dalam bidang kebudayaan. Sesudah tahun 1949, yang ingin dibangun oleh gerakan Three-Self Patriotic di Tiongkok adalah berusaha mendapatkan dukungan dari pemerintah, dengan tekanan, yang mau dibangun adalah suatu penghancuran terhadap sifat am gereja, suatu pengrusakan terhadap gereja nasionalisme yang meninggikan kedaulatan Yesus Kristus. Semacam nasionalisme di dalam kebudayaan, suatu mitos rakyat tentang suatu negara besar yang sedang bangkit. Di dalam masyarakat Tiongkok, bahkan dalam kehidupan setiap orang Kristen, apakah itu tentang Yesus Kristus, Tuhan yang mati di salib dan bangkit, yang dipandang hina dan memalukan, ataukah itu adalah suatu mitos rakyat yang kuno, yang sudah mengendap dan sekarang timbul lagi? Ketiga, menunjuk kepada Injil palsu yang disebabkan oleh bangkitnya suatu ekonomi dan pasar batu menjadi roti. 3

4 REFORMATION JAKARTA 2017 Kondisi gereja Tiongkok hari ini, ketika melihat iman kepercayaan reformed, kita akan jelas. Saya yakin, hanya iman kepercayaan reformed yang bisa memberikan satu world view yang lengkap dan sempurna, meninggikan kedaulatan Tuhan. Fokusnya tidak pada jalan yang dipandang crang sebagai jalan menuju sukses, tetapi kepada salib, jalan menuju salib yang hina itu.hanya Injil dan anugrah Tuhan yang bisa menolong Tiongkok hari ini untuk menang atas 3 pencobaan dari setan. Hanya Yesus Kristus, Dialah peta dan teladan Allah, juga Allah sendiri, yang bisa menghancurkan peta dari Mao Zedong dan Xi Jinping di dalam masyarakat Tionghoa dan dalam jiwa setiap orang Tiongkok. Hanya salib yang dipandang hina itu yang mampu secara tuntas menghancurkan mitos rakyat, dan mitos batu menjadi roti itu di dalam diri setiap orang Tiongkok, juga belenggu di dalam kehidupan setiap orang Kristen. Gereja rumah tangga di Tiongkok harus mengenal lebih dalam, hanya dengan meninggikan kedaulatan Tuhan dan anugrah Injil melalui iman kepercayaan reformed baru bisa mengembangkan suatu kerajaan anugrah, kerajaan Injil, kerajaan yang mulia di dalam masyarakat Tiongkok. Baru bisa menolong, memberitahukan kepada masyarakat Tionghoa di seluruh dunia, kepada gereja yang universal, suatu hari nanti gereja di Tiongkok baru bisa menjadi berkat. Saya merindukan, rekan sepelayanan yang lebih muda bisa menjadi saksi seperti awan, bisa menerima 3 tradisi yang ada di dalam gereja Tiongkok, kiranya Tuhan menolong kita menang atas 3 pencobaan iblis di dalam masyarakat maupun di dalam hati dan pikiran orang Tionghoa, memimpin kita untuk berjalan bersama Tuhan, memimpin kita untuk bersama-sama menapaki jalan salib ini. Dalam nama Tuhan Yesus, kiranya Tuhan memberkati kamu skalian, Tuhan memberkati generasi ini, kiranya Tuhan berbelas kasihan kepada gereja Tiongkok generasi ini. Amin. 4

5 Wang Yi Video Script English Dear Rev. Tong, Pastors, and coworkers, Brothers and sisters, Peace be to you. I m a Pastor from a house-church in China. I am unable to attend this conference, this proves that this conference is very important. When Daniel felt a great sense of battle, the angel of the Lord appeared to him, and said, I was late by 21 days because I was battling with the evil Prince of Persia. This was why the archangel Michael came to help me, to tell the kingdom of God and His people that there will be battles to come. We thank God for leading the Chinese churches of the world, and the housechurches in China. I want to share with all what I have seen in these years of my ministry: within the house-churches in China, I believe that this generation of house-churches have been shaped by three very important traditions. The first is the tradition that came from 500 years of Reformation, the Reformed faith and theology that we have received via the puritans, and missionaries like Robert Morrison. The second tradition is the old gospel, the way of the cross, the life in the midst of the way of suffering that the housechurches in China have held on to for the past 60 years. The third tradition is how the Reformed Evangelical movement that God has used to influence overseas Chinese churches for the past few decades. These three traditions together influence and shape the house-churches in China today. These three traditions are from 2000 years of universal Christianity, preached by the apostles; the gospel of my LORD Jesus Christ, manifested tangibly upon us. I always have 2 images in my heart, showing me the mission of the church in this generation. The first image is something I have seen for myself, I have seen the same image on the internet as well. It depicts the house of a Christian farmer in China. Two paintings are hanging on the wall of the house, the painting on the left depicts our LORD Jesus Christ; while the painting on the right depicts Mao Tze Tong; perhaps recently they changed it to Xi Jin Ping. Another image was what I saw when I was in Hong Kong, in an organisation doing research work on Christianity. The image shows the cross joined together with a lotus-throne. The most crucial question in China today is not whether you have a Christian faith or not, it is about a faith that is has been adulterated. The Reformed gospel is not only facing the challenge of an unbelieving world; it is facing the challenge from an adulterated Christianity. This is a growing issue in our generation, in our everyday life, and in the church. For the past 2000 years, the church has been preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ with all her might. She has always faced a very important conflict and tension; the worship of Caesar versus the worship of Christ. When Christ asked Peter: Who do you say that I am? Peter answered, You are Christ, Son of the living God. Even You are the King! Even if you were to say the word King, it would not move the hearts of the modern Christian. If we change the term to another word we are more familiar with, like, You are the Head. You will then be able to recognize that in China today, the battle between the worship of Caesar versus the worship of Christ, is still happening within us. Second, after the Reformation, the Enlightenment, and the French Revolution, the western world entered into an era of post-christianity. For the west, a new concept was produced, something that has never been seen before. That is the concept of the sovereignty of the state, or we call it the modern sovereign state. Therefore, the most important question is not simply whether you believe in Jesus or not, it is about the sovereignty of the state versus REFORMATION JAKARTA 2017 the sovereignty of God; and the place and battles these should have in the church, and the life of a Christian. I think that the devil is giving the society and church in China three temptations in the wilderness as well. The first temptation is pointed towards the glories of the nation, a worship of the state found in politics. The devil is tempting this ancient people, this enormous political commonality with the glories of the nation. The second temptation points towards cultural and nationalism. Since 1949, The Three-self patriotic church movement has been attempting to build, and obtain government support and strength to build itself up in order to tear apart the universality of the Church. It tears away the sovereignty of Jesus Christ and replaces it with a nationalistic church. It is a culture-based nationalism, a myth of the rise of a great nation and people. This extends into the life of every Christian in China. You either have a life that is shamed, one that is considered humiliating by the world, the WORD of God that tells us that Jesus Christ died on the cross and was resurrected. Or you have a life based on the ancient myth of a people rising from the depths. The third temptation is a false gospel that changes stone into bread; brought about by the rise of the economy and the market. In the church in China today, when we look at the Reformed faith, we can see this clearly. I believe in this: today, in the society in China, only the Reformed faith can preach a comprehensive, and biblical worldview, where we lift high the sovereignty of God, and we put our focus on Him who is not the way of success that the world is familiar with. But the way of humiliation that brings us to the cross. This way via the cross, this gospel that came via His grace alone, only these can help the church in China today to have victory over the devil, Satan s three temptations to the society in China today. Only Jesus Christ, the image and exact representation of God, can demolish the images of Mao Tze Tong and Xi Jin Ping 5

6 REFORMATION JAKARTA 2017 from the society in China, and from the soul of every Chinese. Only the gospel of the cross that is looked upon as humiliating, can demolish the hold of the myth upon the life of every Christian; the nationalistic myth, the economic myth that turns stone into bread; only if the church in China continues to walk upon this path, and let me say that this concerns Christians in China, or the Christians here, let me say that the house-churches in China must continue to walk the way of the cross. The house-churches must learn from the Reformed faith, knowing deeply, and lifting up highly the sovereignty of God and His gospel of grace. This is the only way we can expand in the society of China, the kingdom of grace of my LORD Jesus Christ; the kingdom of the gospel, the glorious kingdom, being expanded among us. In this manner, one day, we can help teach all the Chinese societies around the world even the churches around the world, by doing so, the church in China can become a blessings to all. I wish that young co-workers of our generation, young believers will become like a great cloud of witnesses to receive the three traditions of the church in China, and be able to ask our LORD to help us have victory over the three temptations of the devil in the society in China and the heart of the Chinese, to lead us to walk with our LORD, and to lead us as we journey together on this way of the cross. In the name of our LORD Jesus Christ, May God bless you all. May god bless this generation. May God have mercy upon the Chinese church of this generation. Amen. 6
