Throughout the entire treatment and recovery journey, major illness protection provides a lumpsum payment and multiple claims benefit (if applicable) while the Cancer Therapy Insurance II Supplement or Cancer And Stroke Therapy Insurance Supplement iii reimburses the expenses from hospitalisation, treatment, post-hospitalisation consultation and additional care due to cancer. 2 AXA "Golden 20 Enhanced Protection" Programme From 29 May 2017 to 25 August 2017, if you successfully apply for any designated Critical Illness Protection Insurance plans, you may be entitled to a First 20 Years Enhanced Coverage Benefit iv as specified in the table below v for the first 20 policy years iv! The calculation of First 20 Years Enhanced Coverage Benefit shall be the applicable percentage as set out in the above table times the amount of the basic sum insured as at the date when the major illness benefit or death benefit becomes payable under the basic plan. Any portion of the basic sum insured which is increased by the Index-linked Increase Endorsement attached to the policy (if any) shall be excluded in the computation of the First 20 Years Enhanced Coverage Benefit. The First 20 Years Enhanced Coverage Benefit will automatically cease and terminate on (a) the 20 th policy anniversary, or (b) the policy anniversary on or immediately following the insured s 75 th birthday (whichever is earlier). v For details of the Promotion, please refer to the relevant terms and conditions stated in this leaflet. vi For product details of HealthVital II Major Illness Plan or HealthSelect II Major Illness Plan, please refer to the relevant product brochures and policy contracts. vii The maximum amount payable under the First 20 Years Enhanced Coverage Benefit shall be HKD1,000,000 or USD125,000 per life insured. 3 AXA "Golden 20 Enhanced Protection" Programme Terms and Conditions of AXA "Golden 20 Enhanced Protection" Programme 1. AXA "Golden 20 Enhanced Protection Programme (the Promotion ) is offered by AXA China Region Insurance Company (Bermuda) Limited (Incorporated in Bermuda with limited liability) ( AXA ), subject to the following terms and conditions. 2. This Promotion is only applicable if all of the following requirements are satisfied: a. Customers successfully apply for HealthVital II Major Illness Plan or HealthSelect II Major Illness Plan during the period from 29 May 2017 to 25 August 2017, both dates inclusive (the Promotion Period ). b. The policy of HealthVital II Major Illness Plan or HealthSelect II Major Illness Plan must be successfully issued during the period from 29 May 2017 to 29 September 2017, both dates inclusive ( Eligible Policy ). c. At the time when the First 20 Years Enhanced Coverage Benefit is payable, the Eligible Policy must be in force and all the premiums due under the Eligible Policy must be fully paid. d. To be entitled to the higher applicable percentage for the First 20 Years Enhanced Coverage Benefit, Cancer Therapy Insurance II Supplement or Cancer And Stroke Therapy Insurance Supplement (i) must be applied together with the Eligible Policy during the Promotion Period; (ii) must be successfully issued as an attached supplement of the Eligible Policy during the period from 29 May 2017 to 29 September 2017, both dates inclusive; and (iii) must be continuously in effect since inception and all the premiums due under Cancer Therapy Insurance II Supplement or Cancer And Stroke Therapy Insurance Supplement must be fully paid at the time when the First 20 Years Enhanced Coverage Benefit is payable ( Eligible Supplement ). 3. Each Eligible Policy that has met all requirements as set out in clause 2 will be entitled to the First 20 Years Enhanced Coverage Benefit. When either a major illness benefit or death benefit becomes payable under HealthVital II Major Illness Plan or HealthSelect II Major Illness Plan before (a) the 20 th policy anniversary, or (b) the policy anniversary on or immediately following the insured s 75 th birthday (whichever is earlier), AXA will pay a First 20 Years Enhanced Coverage Benefit if the relevant terms and conditions are satisfied. The calculation of First 20 Years Enhanced Coverage Benefit shall be the applicable percentage as set out in the table below times the amount of the basic sum insured as at the date when the major illness benefit or death benefit becomes payable under the basic plan. With Cancer Therapy Insurance II Supplement Applicable percentage for calculation of the or Cancer And Stroke Therapy Insurance First 20 Years Enhanced Coverage Benefit Supplement (% of the Basic Sum Insured) 25% If the Eligible Supplement has not been continuously in effect since inception or is not in effect at the time when the relevant First 20 Years Enhanced Coverage Benefit is payable, the applicable percentage of the First 20 Years Enhanced Coverage Benefit will be adjusted from to 25%. Any portion of the basic sum insured which is increased by the Index-linked Increase Endorsement attached to the policy (if any) shall be excluded in the computation of the First 20 Years Enhanced Coverage Benefit. Any indebtedness and outstanding premiums will be deducted from the benefit payable. The First 20 Years Enhanced Coverage Benefit will automatically cease and terminate on (a) the 20 th policy anniversary, or (b) the policy anniversary on or immediately following the insured s 75 th birthday (whichever is earlier). For details of the First 20 Years Enhanced Coverage Benefit, please refer to the terms and conditions of the relevant policy document to be mailed to policy owners within 4 months after the issue date of the policy. 4. The maximum amount payable under the First 20 Years Enhanced Coverage Benefit shall be HKD1,000,000 or USD125,000 per life insured (as the case may be depending on the policy currency of the Eligible Policy). For the avoidance of doubt, the aggregate amount of all benefits paid and payable under the First 20 Years Enhanced Coverage Benefit of all policies issued by AXA in Hong Kong and Macau for the same insured shall not exceed HKD1,000,000 or USD125, The First 20 Years Enhanced Coverage Benefit will not be applicable if a policy of HealthVital Major Illness Insurance or HealthSelect Major Illness Insurance in respect of an insured is cancelled during its cooling off period and an application for HealthVital II Major Illness Plan or HealthSelect II Major Illness Plan in respect of the same insured is made during the Promotion Period. 6. The First 20 Years Enhanced Coverage Benefit will not be taken into account in determining the amount of terminal dividend payable under the Eligible Policy. 7. AXA reserves the right to alter or terminate the Promotion (in whole or in part) and / or amend the relevant terms and conditions of this Promotion at any time without prior notice. An application for any Eligible Policy and Eligible Supplement (if applicable) under this Promotion previously approved will not be affected by subsequent alteration or termination of this Promotion and / or amendments to its terms and conditions. 8.
