3 截止報名日期 2013 年 11 月 5 日 ( 以郵戳上之日期作準 ) 取錄確認及球隊註冊日取錄結果會於 2013 年 11 月 12 日或以前, 以書面通知所有報名球隊之領隊各獲取錄球隊之領隊必須於指定日期及地點辦理註冊手續方獲出賽資格 ; 詳情容後公佈倘逾期仍未收到通知信, 可致電賽會報名查詢熱線賽會將於獲取錄球隊完成辦理註冊手續後處理各球隊所繳交之報名費如任何獲取錄及註冊球隊之支票未能兌現, 該球隊出賽資格將被取消, 並由後補球隊補上未獲參賽資格之球隊, 賽會將於 2013 年 12 月 14 日或之前退回所繳交之報名費各獲取錄及註冊球員及領隊須於出賽時及賽會要求時出示身份證明文件正本以作核對之用如未能出示有關文件正本, 該領隊及球員將不能代表該出賽球隊擔任領隊或出賽比賽制服各出賽球隊之球員及領隊必須穿著賽會所供應之制服出賽 ( 包括雙面球衣波褲 adidas techfit preparation 緊身衣及球襪 ), 除原有設計外, 不能附加任何文字或圖案, 否則該隊參賽資格將被取消出場球員必須穿著合適的運動鞋作賽比賽制度男子青少年組及公開組 - 第一階段 32 支參賽球隊將以抽籤方式分為 8 小組, 每小組 4 隊作單循環比賽每組首 2 名出線, 球隊名次按現行國際籃球規則球隊名次排列所規定為準男子青少年組及公開組 - 第二階段至總決賽由 16 強賽開始將以淘汰賽形式進行女子公開組 - 第一階段 8 支參賽球隊將以抽籤方式分為 2 小組, 每小組 4 隊作單循環比賽每組首 2 名出線, 球隊名次按現行國際籃球規則球隊名次排列所規定為準女子公開組 - 第二階段至總決賽由 4 強賽開始將以淘汰賽形式進行比賽時間每場比賽 20 分鐘, 即上下半場各 10 分鐘, 中場休息 2 分鐘每場比賽每隊設 1 次 1 分鐘暫停每次球隊暫停及比賽最後 1 分鐘採取停錶制, 其餘時間不設停錶如法定時間完結時兩隊出現同分, 比賽雙方的 5 名場內球員將進行黃金罰球, 直至分出勝負為止賽會對比賽制度賽果及違規事項等將有最終決定權本比賽規則如有任何修改, 以賽會最終決定為準備註任何參賽者及其他人仕因參加是項比賽所引起之疾病受傷死亡個人損失及經濟損失 ( 不論由於任何原因, 包括但不限於疏忽 ), 所有主辦協辦機構及贊助商概不負責, 請自行安排購買保險查詢 Organized by Title Sponsor Co-sponsor

4 adidas Streetball Challenge 2013 Tournament Dates 22, 23, 24, 29, 30 November and 1 December 2013 (Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays) Venue Southorn Playground, Wanchai (Outdoor Basketball Courts) Categories and Number of Participating Teams Boys Youth Category (Age 14-16) 32 teams All players must have been born between 1 January 1997 and 31 December 1999 (both dates inclusive) No HKBA Division A1 (both league & Silver Shield) registered player in year 2013 is allowed to participate Boy s Open Category (Age 17 or above) 32 teams All players must have been born on or before 31 December 1996 Maximum one HKBA Division A1 (both league & Silver Shield) registered player in year 2013 is allowed per team Girl s Open Category (Age 16 or above) 8 teams All players must have been born on or before 31 December 1997 Maximum two HKBA Division A (both league & Silver Shield) registered player in year 2013 is allowed per team Team Members All team players and team manager must possess valid Hong Kong Identity Card Each team can enrol for a minimum of 8 players or a maximum of 10 players Each team must have a team manager of age 18 or above. The team manager will be responsible for all team affairs, and for explaining the rules and regulations and all related information about the tournament to all the team players. (For Open Categories, the player and the team manager can be the same person provided that the player is aged over 18) The team manager can represent and manage only one team in each category Each player can join one team only. No substitution of team player will be allowed after enrolment form has been submitted Prizes Champion Team 1st Runner-up Team 2nd Runner-up Team (2 teams) Most Valuable Player 1 Trophy and adidas cash coupon worth HK$5,500 Each player will be awarded with a medal and a pair of adidas basketball shoes 1 Trophy and adidas cash coupon worth HK$3,300 Each player will be awarded with a medal and a pair of adidas basketball shoes adidas cash coupon worth HK$2,200 Each player will be awarded with a medal adidas cash coupon worth HK$1,000 and a medal Entry Fee Boys Youth Category - HK$2,800 per team. Boys Open & Girls Open Category - HK$3,500 per team. Upon successful registration, each team: will be awarded with an adidas basketball. Each player will be given a set of competition uniform (include one reversible tournament jersey, one tournament shorts, one adidas techfit preparation top and one pair of basketball socks). Team manager will be given a set of manager uniform (include one top and one pants). Entry Procedure and Details Each applying team is required to complete and return an enrolment form, by post or in person, on or before 5 November 2013 to "adidas Hong Kong Limited, 18/F AIA Kowloon Tower, Landmark East, 100 How Ming Street, Kwun Tong, Kowloon", together with the following: The entry fee, in the form of a crossed cheque made payable to adidas Hong Kong Limited. The team s name and category should be written on the back of the cheque. Please do not enclose cash. A stamped (with HK$1.4 stamp) self-addressed envelope. This envelope will be used to mail notification letters. To avoid mailing errors, the correspondence address should be written clearly and correctly. Please state 2013 adidas Streetball Challenge on the envelope. As the number of participating teams is limited, the organiser will adopt a first-come-first-served approach to accept entries (based on correct and complete information provided). Faxed and ed applications and applications via other means will not be accepted.

5 Entry Deadline 5 November 2013 (according to the date stamped on the envelope) Confirmation of Participation and Team Registration Teams will be informed whether their entry was successful or not, by mail, on or before 12 November The team manager of each successful team shall complete the registration process at specific date and time to confirm their enrolment. Details of team registration will be announced at a later stage. Teams who have not received a notification letter by the due date should contact the organiser at The organiser will deposit the cheques received from successful teams into the bank account after the team registration. Teams whose cheques cannot be cleared will be disqualified, and their places will be given to reserve teams. Refund payments will be made to unsuccessful teams on or before 14 December Each player and team manager of each enrolled and registrated team must produce his / her identification document for verification before each match starts and upon the organizer s request. Players and team managers who fail to do so will be ineligible to represent their team in the tournament. Competition Uniform Players and team managers are required to wear the competition uniform distributed (including tournament jersey, shorts, adidas techfit preparation and socks) during all matches. Other than the original design, no additional element is allowed to be added to the uniform. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in disqualification. Players should wear suitable sports shoes during matches. Rules of the Game Boys Open & Youth Category - First Stage 32 teams will be divided into 8 groups by draw. Each group will consist of 4 teams. The system of play will be a round robin. The top 2 teams in each group, as determined according to the provisions set out in the Classification of teams of the Official Basketball Rules in effect, will be qualified to the second stage. Boys Open & Youth Category - Second Stage to Final The second stage to final will be in a knock-out system. Girls Open Category - First Stage 8 teams will be divided into 2 groups by draw. Each group will consist of 4 teams. The system of play will be a round robin. The top 2 teams in each group, as determined according to the provisions set out in the Classification of teams of the Official Basketball Rules in effect, will be qualified to the second stage. Girls Open Category - Second Stage to Final The second stage to final will be in a knock-out system. Times of the Games Playing time is 20 minutes per match with 2 minutes of break between first and second halves. Each team will have a one-minute time-out per match. Except during time-out and the last one minute of the match, the game clock shall not be stopped. In the event of a tie, free-throw from 5 players of each team will be taken to determine the winner. The organizers' decisions in respect of the tournament shall be final. Remarks The organizers, assisting organizer and sponsors will not be responsible for the illness, injury, death, loss of physical ability and economic consequences that any person (whether participants or not) may suffer as a result of entry in this tournament from any cause whatsoever, including but not limited to negligence, please arrange your own insurance coverage.
