7 设定年份时, 请选择最后两位数 1 在菜单中选择 (IC 录音机设置 ) 选项卡 t 语言 (Language), 然后按 N/ ENT 2 按 x STOP 返回停止模式中的显示使用菜单设定时钟请参阅使用菜单设定时钟 ( 操作说明的第 19 页 ) 第 5 步 : 设定显示窗口所用的语言 x STOP N/ENT 2 按 v 或 V 控制按钮选择所需的语言, 然后按 N/ENT 可以选择以下语言 English ( 英文 ) 3 按 x STOP 退出菜单模式 v, V 可以从 2 种语言中选择信息菜单文件夹名文件名等所用的语言 7 CS

8 第 6 步 : 将操作说明复制到电脑 1 将 IC 录音机连接到电脑 ( 第 5 页 ) 2 在电脑上完成以下步骤在 Windows 画面上, 打开我的电脑或计算机 - IC RECORDER - Instructions 在 Macintosh 画面上, 打开桌面上的 IC RECORDER 驱动器 - Instructions 3 将操作说明的文件从 Instructions 文件夹拖放到电脑的本地磁盘上操作说明的文件名如下 : 产品名 _ 语言名 _ 版本.pdf ( 如 ICD-SX712_SX713_SX813_ Chinese_11.pdf) 4 将 IC 录音机从电脑上断开 ( 第 5 页 ) 8 CS

9 基本操作录音 z 要点建议在开始录音前首先进行试录或监听录音切换内置话筒指向 1 根据所要录音的方向手动更改内置话筒的角度内置话筒选择文件夹 1 将 POWER/HOLD 开关滑至中央, 取消 IC 录音机的 HOLD 状态 2 按显示文件夹选择窗口 3 按. 控制按钮, 再按 v 或 V 控制按钮选择 ( 语音 ) 选项卡, 然后按 > 控制按钮 v, V., > 9 CS

10 4 按 v 或 V 控制按钮选择存放录制文件的文件夹购买 IC 录音机时, 已有 5 个文件夹可供使用 ( FOLDER01-05) 5 按 N/ENT v V N/ENT 开始录音 ( 自动 (AGC) 录音 ) 1 朝录音源的方向转动内置话筒 2 在停止模式中按 z REC/PAUSE 操作指示灯呈红色亮起无需在录音时按住 z REC/PAUSE 不放上一个文件录完后会自动录制新文件操作指示灯 z REC/PAUSE 10 CS

11 若要停止录音 1 按 x STOP 操作指示灯呈橙色闪烁,IC 录音机在当前录音文件的开始处停止录音 x STOP 聆听开始播放 1 将 POWER/HOLD 开关滑至中央, 取消 IC 录音机的 HOLD 状态 2 按 3 按. 控制按钮, 再按 v 或 V 控制按钮选择 ( 语音 ) 选项卡 ( 音乐 ) 选项卡或 ( 播客 ) 选项卡, 然后按 > 控制按钮 4 按 v 或 V 控制按钮选择文件夹 v, V., > v V 11 CS

13 删除 P 注录音一旦被删除, 将无法恢复选择文件, 将其删除 1 将 POWER/HOLD 开关滑至中央, 取消 IC 录音机的 HOLD 状态 2 当 IC 录音机处于停止或播放模式时, 选择所要删除的文件 3 按 ERASE 确定删除? 出现在显示窗口, 同时播放所指定的文件以便确认 4 按 v 或 V 控制按钮选择执行 ERASE v V 5 按 N/ENT 显示窗口出现正在删除... 动画, 所选文件将被删除当某个文件被删除后, 其余的文件将会前移, 使文件之间不留空间 N/ENT 13 CS

14 若要取消删除 1 在选择文件, 将其删除的第 4 步中选择取消, 然后按 N/ENT N/ENT 14 CS

16 This Quick Start Guide describes only basic operations, such as how to record, play back, or erase files. The operating instructions explaining all the features and functions of the IC recorder are stored as PDF files in 2 languages in the built-in memory of the IC recorder. To copy the operating instructions from the IC recorder to your computer, see Step 6: Copying the Operating Instructions to Your Computer on page 6. You can also get another copy of the operating instructions from the Sony support home page: Moreover, to install the supplied application software (Sound Organizer), refer to the operating instructions stored as PDF files. For details on using the Sound Organizer software, visit its help files. A part of the memory capacity is used as a management area. WARNING Do not expose the batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like for a long time. 17 Getting Started Step 1: Checking the Contents of the Package IC Recorder (1) Remove the film on the display window before you use the IC recorder. Stereo headphones (1) (for ICD-SX712/SX713 only) Stereo headphones for noise canceling (1) (for ICD-SX813 only) Earbuds (Size S, L) (1) (for ICD-SX813 only) USB connecting cable (1) Wind screen (1) Use this to cover the built-in microphones. Stand (1) Telephone recording microphone (1) Application software, Sound Organizer (CD-ROM) (1) Carrying pouch (1) NH-AAA (size AAA) rechargeable batteries (2) Battery case (1) microsdhc card (4 GB) (1) (for ICD-SX813 only) This card has a user available area and a management area. The capacity of this card available to the user is approximately 3.6 GB. SD card adaptor (1) (for ICD-SX813 only) Operations are not guaranteed if you use any SD card adaptor other than the one supplied. Operating Instructions The operating instructions are stored as PDF files in the built-in memory of the IC recorder. Step 2: Recharging the Batteries Recharging the batteries using a computer 1 Insert rechargeable batteries. Slide and lift the battery compartment lid, insert two NH-AAA rechargeable batteries with correct polarity, and close the lid. 2 Connect the IC recorder to your computer. Use the USB connecting cable supplied with the IC recorder to connect the (USB) connector of the IC recorder and the USB port of your computer. GB 3 GB

18 Computer To USB port of your computer IC recorder On a Macintosh screen, drag IC RECORDER on the desktop to 回收站 and drop it there. For details on disconnecting the IC recorder from your computer, refer to the operating instructions supplied with your computer. 3Disconnect the IC recorder from the USB port of the computer. To (USB) connector USB connecting cable Step 3: Turning the IC Recorder On Turning the power on 3 Disconnect the IC recorder from your computer. Follow the procedures below; otherwise, when the IC recorder contains data files, the files may be damaged or become unplayable. 1Make sure that the operation indicator of the IC recorder does not light. 2Perform the following operation on your computer. On a Windows screen, left-click the icon at the bottom of the desktop of the computer. Slide the POWER/HOLD switch in the direction of POWER for more than 1 second. The IC recorder is turned on, and the 正在访问... animation is displayed. t Left-click 弹出 IC RECORDER. The icon and menu displayed can be different on different operating systems. 4 GB

19 Turning the power off Slide the POWER/HOLD switch in the direction of POWER for more than 2 seconds, and the 关机 animation is displayed. Select the last two digits of the year when you set the year. Step 4: Setting the Clock x STOP N/ENT v, V You need to set the clock to use the alarm function or record the date and time. When you insert batteries for the first time, or when you insert batteries after the IC recorder has been without batteries for more than 1 day, the 请设置日期时间 animation appears, and then the year section begins to flash in the clock setting display window. Step 5: Setting the Language to Be Used in the Display Window x STOP N/ENT v, V You can select the language to be used for messages, menus, folder names, file names, etc. from 2 languages. 5 GB

20 1 Select the (IC recorder setting) tab t 语言 (Language) in the menu, and then press N/ENT. 2 Press v or V on the control button to select the language that you want to use, and then press N/ENT. You can select the following languages. English, (Chinese) 2 Complete the following procedure on your computer. On a Windows screen; open My Computer or Computer, - IC RECORDER - Instructions. On a Macintosh screen; open the IC RECORDER drive on the desktop - Instructions. 3 Drag and drop the files of the operating instructions from Instructions folder to the local disk on your computer. The file names of the operationg instructions are as follows: Product name_language name_version.pdf (e.g. ICD-SX712_SX713_SX813_Chinese_11.pdf) 4 Disconnect the IC recorder from your computer (page 4). 3 Press x STOP to exit the menu mode. Step 6: Copying the Operating Instructions to Your Computer 1 Connect the IC recorder to your computer (page 3). 6 GB

21 Basic Operations Recording z Tip Before you start recording, we recommend you make a trial recording first, or monitor the recording. Switching the directionality of the built-in microphones 1 Change the angle of the built-in microphones manually according to the direction you want to record. Built-in microphones Selecting a folder 1 Slide the POWER/HOLD switch towards the center to release the IC recorder from the HOLD status. 2 Press to display the folder selection window. 3 Press. on the control button, press v or V on the control button to select the (Voice) tab, and then press > on the control button. v, V., > 4 Press v or V on the control button to select the folder in which you want to record files. When you purchase the IC recorder, there are 5 folders already available ( FOLDER01-05). v V 7 GB

22 5 Press N/ENT. N/ENT Starting to record (Auto (AGC) recording) 1 Turn the built-in microphones in the direction of the source to be recorded. 2 Press z REC/PAUSE in the stop mode. The operation indicator lights in red. You do not need to press and hold z REC/PAUSE while recording. The new file will be automatically recorded after the last recorded file. Operation indicator z REC/ PAUSE To stop recording 1 Press x STOP. The operation indicator flashes in orange and the IC recorder stops at the beginning of the current recording file. x STOP 8 GB

23 Listening Starting playback 1 Slide the POWER/HOLD switch towards the center to release the IC recorder from the HOLD status. 2 Press. 3 Press. on the control button, press v or V on the control button to select the (Voice) tab, the (Music) tab, or the (Podcast) tab, and then press > on the control button. v, V., > 4 Press v or V on the control button to select the folder. v V 5 Press > on the control button. > 6 Press v or V on the control button to select the file you want to play. v V 9 GB

24 7 Press N/ENT. Playback will start soon, and the operation indicator will light in green. (When LED is set to 关 in the menu, the operation indicator does not light.) Operation indicator N/ENT 8 Press VOLUME /+ to adjust the volume. VOLUME /+ To stop playback 1 Press x STOP. x STOP 10 GB

25 Erasing PNote Once a recording has been erased, you cannot retrieve it. Selecting a file and erasing it 1 Slide the POWER/HOLD switch towards the center to release the IC recorder from the HOLD status. 2 Select the file you want to erase when the IC recorder is in the stop or playback mode. 3 Press ERASE. 确定删除? is displayed and the specified file is played back for confirmation. ERASE 4 Press v or V on the control button to select 执行. v V 5 Press N/ENT. The 正在删除... animation appears in the display window and the selected file will be erased. When a file is erased, the remaining files will advance so that there will be no space between files. N/ENT To cancel erasing 1 Select 取消 in step 4 of Selecting a file and erasing it, and then press N/ENT. N/ENT 11 GB
