28 154 BIBLID (2005) 94:2 p NATIONAL CENTRAL LIBRARY BULLETIN 2005 no.2 ( ) The Construction of a Library Website: A Case Study on Hsin-chu Senior High School Sheng-chau Tseng Abstract The advents of the computer and the Internet have brought about a great impact on the management of libraries. Applying these technological innovations to modern libraries also becomes a challenging task. In this paper, the author takes the library in Hsin-chu Senior High School as an example, showing how the way of converting a traditional library into an online one at minimum cost. In addition, the author shares the experiences of library website design and the follow-up maintenance. Finally, the future development in view of library operating structure and information arrangement is also discussed.
