To avoid fire or explosion, do not use this vacuum near flammable liquids, gases or explosive dust. Do not use the vacuum to pick up hot or burning materials. Do not immerse in water. To avoid health hazards from vapours or dusts, do not vacuum toxic materials. Keep this appliance and all accessories out of the reach of children. To avoid damage to your vacuum, always store indoors in an area where the temperature never exceeds 40 C. Keep the charging bracket and cord where they will not be subjected to heat or flame. Do not put any objects into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked, keep free of dust, lint, hair and anything that may reduce air flow. Keep hair, loose clothing and fingers away from openings and moving parts. Do not use without filters in place. Clean filters regularly for best performance. To avoid falls, use extra care when cleaning on stairs. Do not use any charger other than the one provided. Do not use with a damaged charging cord or plug. To avoid injury use only the accessories supplied with this product. Do not handle the plug or vacuum with wet hands. Do not place vacuum nozzle near face, eyes or ears during operation. To obtain a sufficient charge, avoid charging vacuum in room temperatures below 0 C or above 40 C. Unplug your appliance when cleaning it. Never pull on the cord to unplug the charger or charger stand. 4 CHARGING THE APPLIANCE Charge the appliance for at least 16 hours before you use it for the first time. When the suction is low during operation, the battery needs to be recharged. Recharge your appliance after storing for a long time. Only charge the vacuum cleaner with the adaptor and car cord supplied. NOTE: Charging should not be carried out when the ambient temperature is below 0 C or above +40 C. The charger will become warm during use. This is perfectly normal. CHARGING Ensure the appliance is switched off. Insert the small plug into the vacuum cleaner. The charging light will glow red to indicate that the appliances charging. NOTE: The charging light will glow red as long as the adaptor is plug into appliance. The vacuum cleaner is designed for continuous-charging and will not cut-out automatically when fully charged. It is perfectly safe. Even after completing a charging cycle, the indication lamp will not go OFF. IMPORTANT FOR CHARGING When using your vacuum cleaner continuously with the built-in battery pack, the batteries in your battery pack will become hot. You should let a hot battery pack cool down for approximately 30 minutes before attempting to recharge. USING THE APPLIANCE Leave the adaptor in the wall socket and always plug into the vacuum cleaner back after use even if the battery is still fully charged. The vacuum cleaner can be used for vacuuming dust and dirt. It is ideal for removing dirt and dust from upholstered and un-upholstered furniture. It can also be used for giving woollens, blankets, mattresses, clothing and carpets a quick clean. 4

5 Remove the adaptor from the vacuum cleaner, and push the on/off switch to start it. When the switch is released, the vacuum cleaner will stop. ACCESSORIES This appliance comes with the following tools: Carpet brush - for cleaning delicate surfaces Squeegee - for cleaning liquid Crevice tool - for cleaning hard-to-reach places CAR CORD With the car cord you can connect the vacuum cleaner to the cigarette lighter socket in your car and use it as long as necessary without having to recharge it. DIRECT USE Insert the plug of the car cord in the socket of the appliance and insert the car plug into the cigarette lighter socket of your car. Detach the car cord, unplug the car plug from the cigarette lighter socket of your car and press the release button at the plug head. 6 BATTERY DISPOSAL 1. Unscrew and open the housing. 2. Pull out the batteries. 3. Cut off the wires to disconnect the batteries. 4. The batteries must be recycled or disposed of properly. CARE AND MAINTENANCE The performance of the cleaner is dependent on the condition of the dust container and the filter. The dust container should be emptied and cleaned regularly. Cleaning the dust filter and dust container: Check that the vacuum cleaner is switched off. Hold the vacuum cleaner with the nozzle pointing downwards. Press the release button; dismantle the filters from the dust container. Empty the dust container, if necessary, wash the filter in lukewarm soapy water, rinsing thoroughly in clean water. Make sure that the filter is completely dry before reinserting it in position. Don t forget to reinsert all the filters in position after removing it for cleaning. NOTE: Your vacuum cleaner s plastic part should not be machine washed. 6

9 吸塵機充電本產品在第一次使用前需充電 16 小時如使用時發覺吸力減弱, 這表示需要充電如長時間沒有使用, 必須充電只可使用附送的充電器和汽車插來充電注意 : 不可在 0 C 以下或 40 C 度以上充電, 充電時充電器會發熱, 這是正常充電確保吸塵機已關上把充電器的小插頭插入吸塵機, 之後把充電器插入電源把吸塵機放入充電座充電指示燈會亮起, 這表示吸塵機正在充電中注意 : 充電指示燈會一直亮著, 直至把充電器從吸塵機拔掉本產品充電設計是可以給長時間充電, 並且對本產品沒有任何影響充電時的注意事項如連續使用本產品一段長時間後, 電池會比較熱, 這時不要立即充電, 待大約 30 分鐘後才可充電使用吸塵機每次使用後都應把本產品插上充電器充電, 即使本產品仍然有電本產品可以吸取塵埃和小垃圾, 也適合清潔家具毛料毛毯床墊衣服和地毯等 9
