Terms and Conditions of "Good Life Summer Rewards" Promotion (the "Promotion"): 1. The Promotion is valid from 1 July to 30 September 2015 (both dates inclusive) (the "Promotion Period"). The Promotion consists of Offer 1 and Offer 2. 2. To be eligible for the Promotion, cardholders are required to make Eligible Transactions with credit cards issued by Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the "Bank"), including Standard Chartered Credit Card and its Co-branded Card, MANHATTAN Credit Card and its Co-branded Card (except Standard Chartered Corporate Card and Standard Chartered Business Card) ("Eligible Cards"). 3. Cardholders settling payment with Standard Chartered UnionPay Dual Currency Platinum Credit Card and Standard Chartered WorldMiles Card (formerly known as Standard Chartered American Express Card) are also eligible for the Promotion provided that the merchant s relevant shops accept them for payment. For the avoidance of doubt, the Promotion is not applicable to Standard Chartered UnionPay Dual Currency Platinum Credit Cardholders making online transactions at Wellcome Delivers (www.wellcome.com.hk) or Market Place by Jasons e-supermarket (www.marketplacebyjasons.com). 4. Cardholders are required to register their Eligible Cards for the Promotion anytime from 30 June 2015 (starting at 00:00) to the last day (ending at 23:59) of the Promotion Period via the 24-hour registration hotline 1836 369 or website at sc.com/hk/summer in order to enrol into the Promotion. Only the first 60,000 successfully registered cardholders are eligible for the Promotion. 5. Each Eligible Card for the Promotion is required to be registered once only within the Promotion Period. Cardholders will receive a reference number upon successful registration. Cardholders are required to keep the reference code for verification. All registered information will be recorded, which cannot be cancelled, changed or exchanged. Eligible Transactions shall be determined at the sole and absolute discretion of the Bank. 6. Offer 1: During each month of the Promotion Period, in order to be entitled to the CashBack on Designated spending ( Designated Spending as defined in clause 9), registered cardholders are required to make Monthly Accumulated Eligible Transactions ( Accumulated Eligible Transactions as defined in clause 7) with any of the Eligible Cards for a designated amount; and a certain amount must be Designated Spending. Refer to the below table: Monthly Accumulated Eligible Transactions (Any Retail/Overseas/Online Transactions and/or Cash Advance) CashBack on Designated Spending Maximum CashBack (on that Month) Maximum CashBack (within the whole promotion period) HK$5,000 - $7,999 5% HK$150 HK$600 HK$8,000 or above 10% HK$300 7. Accumulated Eligible Transactions include all local and overseas retail purchases, online purchase, cash advance, mail order, phone order and the total new principal amount of Interest-free Instalment Plan (as defined in Clause 8 below) made during the Promotion Period. They do NOT include auto payment, utilities bill, insurance payment, Octopus Automatic Add-Value amount, billed monthly instalment of Interest-free Instalment Plan, handling fee, annual fee, past due charges, overlimit charges, interest/finance charges, balance transfer amount and interests, "Credit-to-Cash" Preferential Annual Rate Program amount and interests/handling fee, "Instalment Credit" Plan or billed monthly instalment of interest-free instalment plan and interest/handling fee, online bill payment, casino chip exchange and tax payment. Any unposted/cancelled/refunded/falsified and any unauthorized transactions are also excluded. For the spending amount of Standard Chartered UnionPay Dual Currency
Platinum Credit Card in CNY, a designated conversion rate of 1.26 will be used to calculate the accumulated spending requirement of this Promotion, that is, CNY100 equivalent to HKD126 for the calculation of the accumulated spending requirement of this Promotion. The Bank reserves the right to determine the final designated conversion rate for calculation of the accumulated spending requirement in the Promotion without further notice. In case of disputes, the decision of the Bank should be final. 8. The total new principal amount of Interest-free Instalment Plan is the amount of the posted first instalment multiplied by the total number of instalments. 9. Designated Spending includes the below transactions to be accumulated with Eligible Card during the Promotion Period: a. Eligible Wellcome, Specialty Stores and Online Supermarkets Transactions means transactions made at Wellcome Supermarket, Market Place by Jasons, Jasons Food & Living, ThreeSixty, Oliver's the Delicatessen stores, Wellcome Delivers (www.wellcome.com.hk) or Market Place by Jasons e-supermarket (www.marketplacebyjasons.com). b. For details of other types of Designated Spending, please visit sc.com/hk/summer. 10. Offer 2: Offer 2 is only applicable to cardholders of Eligible Cards whose Eligible Cards are Visa Cards ( Eligible Visa Card ). Cardholders of Eligible Visa Cards who have successfully registered their Eligible Visa Cards and fulfilled the requirements of Offer 1 will be entitled to one chance for the 100X Rewards Points Lucky Draw ( Lucky Draw ) automatically for each single Eligible Transaction made with their Eligible Visa Cards during the whole Promotion Period. Winners of the Lucky Draw will be entitled to 100 times 360 Rewards Points ( Point ) on all their Accumulated Eligible Transactions made during the Promotion Period subject to a maximum reward of 5,000,000 Points for each winner. All winners of Eligible Visa Cards which are under Standard Chartered CashBack Scheme originally will be entitled to CashBack under this Lucky Draw instead of Points, subject to the calculation of 285 Points to HK$1 CashBack. Lucky Draw result will be announced in December 2015 via sc.com/hk and winner will be randomly selected by a computer system. 10 winners in total will be rewarded. 11. All Accumulated Eligible Transactions and Designated Spending must be posted on or before 14 October 2015 based on the transaction date as shown on the credit card monthly statement. 12. The CashBack and/or Point ("CashBack/Point") earned will be shown on the "360 Rewards" online redemption platform on or before 31 January 2016 (the "Fulfilment Date"), and will not be automatically credited to cardholders' accounts, but can be freely redeemed for cash or gifts under the online catalogue of the platform. The CashBack will be given in Hong Kong dollars and the minimum threshold for CashBack redemption is HK$50 per account. Redemption of CashBack/Point is subject to relevant terms and conditions. Transactions and the CashBack/Point enjoyed by the Principal and Supplementary cardholder(s) of the Eligible Cards for the Promotion account will be counted collectively. 14. Registered cardholders shall notify the Bank if they do not receive the CashBack/Point 1 month after the Fulfilment Date; otherwise, the Bank accepts no liability and will not be liable for any compensation. 15. The Eligible Cards accounts must be valid and in good financial standing at the time of the CashBack/Point is credited; otherwise the offer will be forfeited without further notice. The CashBack/Point amount cannot be drawn as cash advance, is non-exchangeable, nontransferable and cannot offset credit card payment. 16. The Bank will verify the transaction record(s) to confirm cardholders' eligibility under the Promotion. In case of discrepancy between the Bank's computer record and details recorded on the credit card sales slips, the Bank's computer record(s) shall prevail. 17. If cardholders have cancelled any related transaction which had been included in calculating the CashBack/Point offer after the receipt of the CashBack/Point, the Bank has the right to debit the CashBack/Point as an administration fee from the cardholders' Eligible Cards account without further notice. 18. Cardholders understand and accept that the Bank is not the supplier of the products/services purchased from the merchants. The Bank shall bear no liability relating to any aspect of the products/services, including without limitation, their quality, the supply, the descriptions of goods and/or services provided by the merchants, any false trade description,
misrepresentation, mis-statement, omission, unauthorized representation, unfair trade practices or conduct in connection with this Promotion of the offers or in making available the offers or the products and/or services under the Promotion, by the merchants, their employees, officers or agents. 19. Cardholders are required to keep the relevant original sales receipts and credit card sales slips for inspection upon request by the Bank. In case of disputes, cardholders are required to submit the relevant original sales receipt(s) and credit card sales slip(s) for further investigation by the Bank. All relevant documents submitted to the Bank will not be returned. 20. The Bank reserves the right to alter, extend or terminate the above offers and amend the terms and conditions at any time. In case of disputes, the decision of the Bank shall be final. 21. If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English and the Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
