Experience-driven multi-dimensional design of interactive installation YANG Li-li 1,2 ( 1.Pan Tianshou Arts and Design Academy, Ningbo University, Ningbo 315211, China; 2.School of Design, Jiangnan University, Wuxi 214122, China ) Abstract: This paper analyzes the composition and characteristics of the interactive installation and decomposes the design problem of interactive installation into four dimensions including device, audience, sensor module and subject. Three typical types of interactive installations are summarized. Based on these results, a multi-dimensional design scheme for interactive installation design is proposed, which is transited from technology-driven to experience-driven. In terms of the experience-driven design, the User Experience Map and Service Blueprint are introduced into the design of the interactive installation, and the main points of strengthening the top level design are illustrated. Furthermore, the traditional five senses experience and immersion experience are explored with theoretical explanation. Key words: interactive installation; interactive experience; experience driven; multi-dimensional design
