You will need to specify your beneficiaries account and payment information as follows: Beneficiary Name Beneficiary Account Number Name and Address of Beneficiary Bank SWIFT Address of Beneficiary Bank (for telegraphic transfers) Remittance Currency and Amount Useful Tips 1. If you wish to give written telegraphic transfer instructions, you may download telegraphic transfer application forms at form-download-centre and return your completed forms to HSBC-Network Services Centre, 1/F, Tower 2, HSBC Centre, 1 Sham Mong Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong. 2. Your account will be closed if it has not been funded or activated with transactions in six months after account opening. 3. A monthly consolidated statement provides an overview of your account balances, transaction history and credit-related information. Deposits With HSBC Business Direct, you can enjoy the following deposit services: 1. Hong Kong Dollar Savings 2. Hong Kong Dollar Current 3. Foreign currency savings in 11 different currencies: US dollar (USD), Pound sterling (GBP), Canadian dollar (CAD), Australian dollar (AUD), Japanese yen (JPY), New Zealand dollar (NZD), Euro (EUR), Singapore dollar (SGD), Swiss franc (CHF), Renminbi (RMB)* and Thai baht (THB). 4. Time Deposits * Please refer to the Renminbi Services section for details. Note: 1. For Hong Kong Dollar Savings, interest is compounded daily and applied monthly, whereas interest for foreign currency savings is calculated daily and applied half-yearly. 2. The annual interest for deposits is calculated based on the following number of days in one year: HKD 365 days or 366 days (in leap years); GBP, SGD and THB 365 days; other currencies 360 days. 3. The current account is a non-interest bearing account with free cheque books for payments. 4. From 1 March 2016, there are three deposit rate structures for HKD and USD Savings: Savings Deposit Rate/Corporate Deposit Rate/Institutional Deposit Rate. The rates are published on Business Banking customers with average relationship balances of less than HKD10m will receive the Savings Deposit Rate. Business Banking customers with average relationship balances of HKD10m and above and Corporate Banking clients will receive the Corporate Deposit Rate. Non-bank Financial Institution clients will receive the Institutional Deposit Rate. The total balances held in your Current, on-demand Savings and fixed rate (including Time Deposit) accounts for all currencies are used to calculate the average relationship balance. Inward Telegraphic Transfers HSBC s Inward Telegraphic Transfers services allows you to receive funds from accounts from your customers. You can check on whether the incoming funds has arrived via Business Internet Banking and HSBCnet. Real-time Interbank Payments Outward Real-time Gross Settlement (RTGS) is a real-time secure electronic payment for customers that need to make express and convenient payments within Hong Kong to a domestic account in the same currency at another bank. Your local bank payee will receive your HKD, USD, EUR or RMB payment on the same day if you make the transaction before the relevant cut-off time. 11

13 IV Credit Facilities and Cash Management Services Secured Credit Facility Your available credit limit (a maximum of HK$10,000,000) is adjusted automatically according to the daily asset value and can be utilised for overdraft, documentary credit issuance, bank guarantee issuance and trade finance*. Acceptable types of secured assets include Hong Kong dollar and foreign currency time deposits, bonds, certificates of deposit, locally quoted unit trusts and more. There are no arrangement fees or monthly service fees for the use of this service. IV Note: 1. *This facility is applicable to selected trade and guarantee products. If the Secured Credit Facility is utilised for trade finance, please note that the interest incurred is calculated at the Bank s Trade Finance Interest Rate. For the service charges for issuing documentary credits and bank guarantees, please refer to the latest Commercial Banking Tariffs. 2. For the calculation of credit limit and the interest rate for overdraft, please refer to com.hk/en-gb/financing-and-credit-cards/commercial-lending/business-integrated-account-securedcredit-facility. Auto-sweeping Automatically transfer funds on the next working day from your Hong Kong Dollar Savings account to cover the overdrawn amount (total daily excess up to HK$20,000) of your Hong Kong Dollar Current account. Note: The Bank reserves the right to withdraw this service on a case-by-case basis. Overdraft Protection Overdraft protection for up to HK$10,000, and interest is calculated at HSBC s Best Lending Rate (BLR) + 5% per annum. To enjoy this service, you are required to have an average deposit balance of HK$100,000 in your HSBC Business Direct account in the previous month. Renminbi (RMB) Investment Products A diverse range of RMB investment products including bonds, unit trusts, securities and structured products to assist you with your financial management. VII Risk Disclosure There is RMB exchange rate risk and RMB is currently not freely convertible. Conversion of RMB through banks in Hong Kong is subject to certain restrictions. For RMB products which are not denominated in RMB or with underlying investments which are not RMB-denominated, such products will be subject to multiple currency conversion costs involved in making investments and liquidating investments and RMB exchange rate fluctuations and bid/offer spreads when assets are sold to meet redemption requests and other capital requirements. RMB products are subject to exchange rate fluctuations which may bring both opportunities and risks. The fluctuation in the exchange rate of RMB may result in losses in the event that customers convert RMB into Hong Kong dollars or other foreign currencies. RMB products may suffer significant losses in liquidating underlying investments if such investments do not have an active secondary market and their prices have large bid/offer spreads. The value of RMB products may subject to interest rate fluctuations, which may adversely affect the return and performance of the RMB products. Derivatives instruments may be involved in RMB products and may be exposed to the credit risk of counterparties being the issuers of derivative instruments. Where a RMB product may invest in derivative instruments, counterparty risk may also arise as the default by the derivative issuers may adversely affect the performance of the RMB product and result in substantial loss. In the event that a RMB product needs to be redeemed before maturity and the Bank agrees to such redemption, the redemption amount will be determined at sole discretion of the Bank and you must be prepared to incur a significant loss of the principal amount invested and be charged any early withdrawal fees and/or charges on the RMB product. 19
