Notes or instructions that make the job easier and ensure safe operation. Warning The system in which the CME Booster is incorporated must be designed for the maximum pump pressure. The default setting will cause the pump not to stop until it reaches its maximum pressure. 3. Mechanical installation Warning Before starting work on the product, switch off the power supply. Make sure that the power supply cannot be accidentally switched on. Warning The use of this product requires experience with and knowledge of the product. Persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities must not use this product, unless they are under supervision or have been instructed in the use of the product by a person responsible for their safety. Children must not use or play with this product. 4
4. Electrical connection Carry out the electrical connection according to local regulations. Check that the supply voltage and frequency correspond to the values stated on the nameplate. Warning Before making connections in the terminal box or breaker cabinet, make sure that the power supply has been switched off for at least 5 minutes. Make sure that the power supply cannot be accidentally switched on. The product must be connected to an external all-pole mains switch according to local regulations. The product must be earthed and protected against indirect contact in accordance with local regulations. We recommend to fit the permanent installation with an earth leakage circuit breaker (ELCB) with a tripping current < 30 ma. If the power supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, the manufacturer's service partner or a similarly qualified person. 5. Startup Caution Do not start the pump until it has been filled with liquid. 6. Control panel Warning If the control panel is cracked or perforated, replace it immediately. Contact the nearest Grundfos sales company. Warning The product may be so hot that only the buttons should be touched to avoid burns. English (GB) 4.1 Protection against electric shock - indirect contact 4.1.1 Additional protection If the pump is connected to an electric installation where an earth leakage circuit breaker (ELCB) is used as additional protection, the circuit breaker must be marked with the following symbols: ELCB This circuit breaker is type B. The total leakage current of all the electrical equipment in the installation must be taken into account. During start and at asymmetrical supply systems, the leakage current can be higher than normal and may cause the ELCB to trip. 4.1.2 Motor protection The pump requires no external motor protection. The motor incorporates thermal protection against slow overloading and blocking, TP 211 according to IEC 34-11). 4.1.3 Protection against mains voltage transients The pump is protected against voltage transients by built-in varistors between the phases and between phases and earth. 5
English (GB) 1 2 3 6.1 Setpoint setting Caution The setpoint must not be set higher than the pressure which the pump can deliver. Set the desired setpoint of the pump by pressing or. Start: If the button is pressed when the pump is stopped, the pump will only start if no other functions with higher priority have been enabled. See section 11. Further product information. Stop: If the button is pressed when the pump is running, the pump will always be stopped. When the pump is stopped via this button, the "Stop" text next to the button will illuminate. Fig. 2 0 6.2 Start/stop of pump Start the pump by pressing or by continuously pressing until the desired setpoint is indicated. Stop the pump by pressing. When the pump is stopped, the "Stop" text next to the button will illuminate. The pump can also be stopped by continuously pressing until none of the light fields are on. If the pump has been stopped by pressing, it can only be given free to operation by pressing again. If the pump has been stopped by pressing, it can only be restarted by pressing. 6.3 Resetting of fault indications A fault indication can be reset in one of the following ways: Briefly press or on the pump. This will not change the setting of the pump. A fault indication cannot be reset by pressing or if the buttons have been locked. Switch off the power supply until the indicator lights are off. 7. Operating conditions 8. Working on the product 7.1 Ambient temperature 7.1.1 Ambient temperature during storage and transportation -30-60 C. 7.1.2 Ambient temperature during operation -20-50 C. The motor can operate with the rated power output (P2) at 50 C, but continuous operation at higher temperatures will reduce the expected product life. If the motor is to operate at ambient temperatures between 50 and 60 C, an oversized motor must be selected. Contact Grundfos for further information. 7.2 Installation altitude The motor must not be installed more than Caution 2000 metres above sea level. Installation altitude is the height above sea level of the installation site. Motors installed up to 1000 metres above sea level can be loaded 100 %. Motors installed more than 1000 metres above sea level must not be fully loaded due to the low density and consequent low cooling effect of the air. See fig. 3. Make sure that the power supply cannot be accidentally switched on. Megging of an installation incorporating MGE motors is not allowed, as the built-in electronics may be damaged. 9. Technical data 9.1 Supply voltage 1 x 220-240 V - 10 %/+ 10 %, 50/60 Hz - 2 %/+ 2 %, PE. 9.2 Overload protection The overload protection of the E-motor has the same characteristic as an ordinary motor protective circuit breaker. Peringatan Produk ini bisa menjadi sangat panas sehingga hanya tombolnya saja yang boleh disentuh agar tidak terbakar. 4.1 Perlindungan terhadap kejutan listrik - kontak tidak langsung 4.1.1 Perlindungan tambahan Jika pompa terhubung ke instalasi listrik di mana ELCB (earth leakage circuit breaker) digunakan sebagai pelindung tambahan, pemutus sirkuit harus memiliki simbol-simbol berikut: ELCB Pemutus sirkuit ini bertipe B. Total kebocoran arus dari semua peralatan listrik pada instalasi harus dipertimbangkan. Ketika dimulai dan pada sistem pasokan asimetris, kebocoran arus dapat lebih tinggi dari normal dan dapat menyebabkan ELCB putus. 4.1.2 Perlindungan motor Pompa tidak memerlukan pelindung motor eksternal. Bahasa Indonesia (ID) 7. Kondisi pengoperasian 7.1 Suhu sekitar 7.1.1 Suhu sekitar pada saat penyimpanan dan pengangkutan. -30-60 C. 7.1.2 Suhu sekitar pada waktu operasi. -20-50 C. Ketinggian pemasangan adalah ketinggian lokasi pemasangan dari permukaan laut. Motor yang dipasang 1000 meter di atas permukaan laut dapat menanggung beban 100 %. Motor yang dipasang lebih dari 1000 meter di atas permukaan laut tidak boleh diberi beban penuh karena densitasnya rendah serta akibat efek pendinginan yang rendah pada udara. Lihat gbr. 3. Menangani produk 8.1 Penggunaan Alat Ukur Megger Hati-hati Peringatan Sebelum memasang modul tambahan, menyambungkan kotak terminal atau kabinet kontrol, pastikan catu daya sudah dimatikan minimal selama 5 menit. Pastikan catu daya tidak akan hidup tanpa disengaja. Dilarang menggunakan alat ukur megger pada pemasangan yang menggunakann motor MGE, karena elektronik yang ada di dalamnya bisa rusak. 9.
