2 Visa Application Requirements You Have Requested: Country: China Type of Visa: Business Visa Important Information: An appointment is required in order to submit the visa application. Please contact us in advance of submitting your application so we can advise on the expected processing time. Documents Required: 1. Passport The passport must be valid for 6 months beyond the visas expiry date and have at least two blank pages Please provide copy of detailed page of your passport as well as copies of all previous visas to China 2. One Passport Photo The photo must: o Be a standard sized passport photo o Have a white background o Have been taken within the last 6 months 3. Invitation Letter from Chinese Organisation The letter should include the following: o Applicant s full name exactly as it is in the passport o Applicant s date of birth o Applicant s passport number o Applicant s gender o Detail the purpose of the visit o Details of the relationship between applicant and the inviting party o Give the duration of the visit o Detail places to be visited o Specify the visa type requested and the number of entries o Detail how the applicant will be funding the trip o It should be signed (if person signing is Chinese full name should appear on the letter as per passport and signature should be done in Chinese characters) o It should be dated and have the inviting company s official stamp o Be on headed paper and have full address and phone number o For Ghanaian and Turkish nationals this must be the original letter OR

3 Visa Application Requirements Letter of Duly Authorized Unit This is arranged by the host by contacting their provincial bureau of the Chinese Foreign Ministry o Nigerian passport holders can only obtain a visa with the original copy of this document You will need to fill out: 4. Application Form One fully completed and signed application form Please provide a photocopy of the completed application form 5. Declaration Form One signed declaration form 6. Visa Booking Form One fully completed visa booking form Non UK Passport Holders: Non UK nationals holding UK visa or Residency Permit need to provide ORIGINAL visa/permit with their application. Ghanaian & Turkish nationals must present the original invitation letter with their application. The Embassy will no longer accept photocopies of the invitation letter. Nigerian nationals can only apply with an original Letter of Authorized Unit French passport holders must submit the following, as well as the documents mentioned above: 1. Original invitation letter from China 2. Flight itinerary 3. Hotel booking for entire duration of the trip In the case of the applicant having dual nationality the passport that is used to enter the UK should be submitted. Applicants Under 18 Years of Age: All applications have to be accompanied with copies of both parent s passports and copy of birth certificate which should mention both parent s names. If certificate is not in English please contact us before sending documents through. Application form has to be signed by both parents in sections 4.3 and 5.5. Questions 5.1 to 5.4 have to be filled in by one of the parents.

Dispatch and Delivery Methods To Diversity Travel We recommend that items be sent to us by Royal Mail Special Delivery service or other secure and traceable delivery services. Our opening hours to receive applications are between 8.45am 5.30pm Monday Friday. From Diversity Travel We can return the passport to you by Royal Mail Special Delivery, DHL or UPS. There is no consequential loss coverage for next day couriers (Special Deliver, DHL and UPS). We also have a same day bike service or it is possible to collect from our office. For urgent applications or if there would be a significant financial loss should the passport be delayed we recommend using the same day bike service or collecting from our office. The fees for returning your passport are listed below. Please clearly indicate your preferred return delivery method on the Visa Booking Form.

I understand that if I apply by post, or request return delivery by post of my processed application, the Centre shall not be responsible or liable for any delay, delivery to a wrong address, or damage to or loss of the documents as a result of the negligence of any mail service or company. For clients based within London it can be cost effective to have the passports returned using a same day bike courier.
