2 IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS When using electrical appliances, below safety precautions should be followed: WARNING may result in heavy injury or death CAUTION may result in light injury or loss of property Warning: Not following the instructions below may result in electric shock, electricity leakage, fire or serious personal injury Please do not modify, disassemble or repair hair dryer. Please contact SHARP service centre for repair. Please do not bend, pull or twist the power plug and cord. Stop using the hair dryer if power socket, plug and cord are damaged. Please do not use extension cord or share the power plug with other electrical appliances. Always switch off the hair dryer after use, and unplug it from the power socket. Always grasp the plug while unplugging, please do not pull the power cord. Please do not wrap the cord around the hair dryer. Please do not place objects on the hair dryer or cord. Please do not use or place the hair dryer in an area with high temperature. Please do not use the hair dryer near inflammable materials such as benzene, paint thinner, sprays, etc. Make sure hair or wire does not get sucked into the air inlet or air outlet. Please do not leave when the hair dryer is working. Stop using and unplug the hair dryer if abnormal situation or malfunction happened as follow, please contact SHARP service centre for repair. Inside become red or smoke generated. Power plug and cord deformed or damaged. Abnormal situation or malfunction happened. Warning: Do not use this hair dryer near water Please do not touch and use the hair dryer while your hands are wet and do not use or place the hair dryer near bathtubs, basins or other vessels containing water or in an area with high humidity. Please unplug the hair dryer after using in the bathroom. For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Indoor use only. Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted waste. Contact your local government for information regarding the collection facilities. If electrical appliances are disposed in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances may leak into the groundwater and get into the food chain, harming your health and well-being. To protect against the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the unit, cord or plug in water or other liquid. Caution: Not following the instructions below may result in injury or loss of property. Please keep the hair dryer properly and away from baby. Please do not use the hair dryer by holding any part other than the handle of the dryer. Avoid dropping or knocking the hair dryer with other objects. Please keep distance from the hair when using hair dryer and make sure hair does not get sucked into the air inlet and air outlet. Please do not use the hair dryer if the back cover is damaged. Please do not use products with fluororesin or silicone near the hair dryer, otherwise fluororesin or silicone may be attached internal part of hair dryer and Plasmacluster Ion (PCI) may not be generated. In this situation, please clean the Plasmacluster Ion Generating Unit (E-6). E - 2

3 EFFECT OF PLASMACLUSTER ION Plasmacluster Ion (PCI) is SHARP's unique technology. Plasmacluster Ion (PCI) Generating Unit generates and emits the same positive and negative ions that occur in nature by applying high voltage and a larger number of electrical discharges. Since the positive and negative ions generated are surrounded by water molecules, they can survive for extended periods. HAIR MOISTURIZATION * The Plasmacluster Ion (PCI) concentration of 2,300,000 ions/cm³ are surrounded by water molecules to form protective layer of water molecules on the surface of the hair, deeply infiltrate and moisturize your hair. 5 HOW TO OPERATE Set the Main Switch ( 2 ) to the desirable airflow. Setting Ⅱ (Strong) Ⅰ (Gentle) Function Fast drying Styling (Cool Shot) (OFF) Fix the style OFF Dry the hair quickly by using the nozzle ( 1 ). Suggest to use nozzle ( 1 ) and warm air " I " for styling. When Plasmacluster Ions (PCI) emitting, the LED light ( 5 ) lights up. After use : 1 Switch off the hair dryer and unplug it. 2 Put the hair dryer on the heat-resistant surface until it cools down. 3 Keep the hair dryer properly for safety reason. E - 5

6 CARE AND MAINTENANCE Plasmacluster Ion Generating Unit (electrode section) Care cycle: every 2 months Remove dust with a cleaning brush ( 7 ) or a cotton swab. For stubborn stains or dirt, use a cotton swab dampened with water to wipe off. Please do not wash the unit. 1 Unplug the power plug and pushing the button ( 6 ) to remove the Open Back cover back cover ( 4 ). Button 2 3 Remove the stains or dirt at electrode section with cleaning brush ( 7 ) or cotton swab. Attach the back cover ( 4 ) back after cleaning. Do not touch and bend the electrode needle. Cleaning brush ( 7 ) can be reused. E - 6

7 CARE AND MAINTENANCE Air Outlet / Air Inlet Care cycle: stains and dirt attached Remove the nozzle ( 1 ) before cleaning. Remove hairs or dust by using vacuum cleaner or a cotton swab. Air Outlet Air Inlet Hair Dryer / Accessories Care cycle: stains and dirt attached Wipe off the surface with a soft cloth. For stubborn stains or dirt, use a soft cloth dampened with warm water to wipe off the product. Do not use the followings for cleaning : (Otherwise, the product may be damaged) Thinner, Benzine, Alcohol, Nail Polish remover and Chemical cloth, etc. E - 7

13 操作方法將開關 ( 2 ) 調至適當的風量設置 Ⅱ( 強 ) Ⅰ( 弱 ) 功能快速乾髮塑造髮型 ( 冷風 ) ( 電源開關 ) 固定造型停止運作要更快速地吹乾頭髮, 請將集風嘴 ( 1 ) 安裝到電風筒上建議您僅在塑造髮型時使用集風嘴 ( 1 ) 及暖風 " Ⅰ " 設置 PCI 釋放時,LED 指示燈 ( 5 ) 將會亮起使用後 : 1 關閉電風筒並拔下電源插頭 2 將產品放置於有隔熱性能的地方, 直至其冷卻 3 將電風筒妥善保存 C - 5

14 保養與清潔 PCI 離子產生器 ( 電極部分 ) 保養時間 : 每 2 個月一次使用清潔刷 ( 7 ) 或棉棒, 清除灰塵如果污垢不易清除, 請用棉棒頭部稍微沾水後清潔請勿用水直接沖洗 1 拔下電源插頭, 按住後蓋下方的按鈕 (6), 沿打開後蓋著箭頭方向拆下後蓋 (4) 按鈕電極部分 (2 處 ) 2 使用清潔刷 (7) 或棉棒清除電極部位的污漬電極針 3 對電極部位進行清潔後, 把後蓋 (4) 裝回 PCI 離子產生器清潔刷如果後蓋 ( 4 ) 沒有裝好, 則不會通電請勿直接用手觸摸或彎曲電極針清潔刷 ( 7 ) 可反覆使用 C - 6

15 保養與清潔出風口.. 進風口保養時間 : 有污垢時清潔產品前, 請卸下集風嘴 ( 1 ) 使用吸塵器或棉棒清除灰塵進風口出風口電風筒.. 附件保養時間 : 有污垢時用軟布擦拭表面在有難以清除的污漬時, 可以用溫水將布濕潤後擰乾再抹去污漬請勿使用以下物品擦拭電風筒 ( 否則可能會損壞產品 ) 稀釋劑精油酒精洗甲水化學布料等 C - 7
