Members of the Committee include 1994 National President Senator Ronald Ho, 2000 National President Senator Spencer Li, 2001 National President Senator Michelle Tang, Senator Joseph Ho, Senator Connie Chiu, and National President Gene Tang. Long Range Planning Committee recommended Junior Chamber International Hong Kong to pay special attention to improve public image of the organization, focus more on training and development, develop strong relationships with local districts and each LOM to establish trust funds and Long Range Planning Committees

14 Prime Minister Wen Jiabao mentioned in New York that UMNDG is an important issue of the world and that is the reason for Junior Chamber International Hong Kong focus on this project National President Senator Spencer Li sincerely thanks members of the committees and invited a motion to adopt the report. 22 7.5 Explanation of Voting System Election Chairman briefed the General Assembly on the voting system. The procedures for the election of 2011 Elective National Officers will be conducted in accordance with the Memorandum and Articles of Association and By-laws of Junior Chamber International Hong Kong. All candidates are required to observe and comply with these clauses therein. Voting strength for elective National Officers were calculated based on the membership declaration of Chapters in the Joint Board Meeting on 4 September, Voting strength of each Chapter comprised of membership vote, affiliation vote and executive vote. Motion carried As mentioned in the report of Nomination Committee, the National Vice President candidates Licca Chan and Jackson Leung, National Secretary General Candidate Alvina Chan and Michelle Liu and National Honorary Treasurer Candidate Cammie Chan failed to fulfill the specified requirement as stated in By-law (C), that is, candidates shall be a current National Officer or shall have been a National Officer for at least one year. Meanwhile, National President Candidate Timmy Lee failed to fulfill the specified requirement as stated in By-law , that is, candidates shall attend Candidates Training School organized by the Chamber within fifteen days before the Closing Annual General Meeting of the National Convention. Before Election Chairman requested the candidates to stand for the election, he invited a motion to grant wavier in accordance with By-Law of to all 6 candidates en bloc, namely Licca Chan, Jackson Leung, Alvina Chan, Michelle Liu and Timmy for their failure to meet respective qualifications in By-Law of The motion of the grant waiver was moved by East Kowloon Junior Chamber, and was seconded by Ocean Junior Chamber. Victoria Junior Chamber moved to amend the motion by replacing en bloc with individually. On the advice of the Parliamentarian, Past National President Senator Andrew Wong, BBS, Election Chairman did not accept such amendment. Past National President Senator Andrew Wong, BBS also pointed out that despite the non-acceptance of the proposed amendment, those who would not agree to grant the waiver en bloc still had the opportunity to vote again the motion. The motion which required a simple majority to pass was then put to vote. With 11 votes out of 19 votes for, the motion carried Election Chairman continued to invite a motion to grant the wavier to all candidates en bloc. The motion was moved by East Kowloon Junior Chamber, and was seconded by Ocean Junior Chamber. The motion requiring a 2/3 majority to pass was put to vote.
