When the hair dryer outputs hot air, if sparks appear at the air outlet, immediately stop using it, and then clear away dust adhered to the air outlet and air inlet. - Failure to do so may cause burning or fire. After use, always set the main switch to position 0, and unplug the unit from a household outlet. - Failure to do so may cause burning or fire. This appliance must be installed and fixed at a position out of the reach when having a bath or shower. Also, the installation and fixation of the appliance must ensure that the appliance is still out of reach on condition that the handle portion is completely straightened when having a bath or shower. - Failure to do so may cause an accident or injury. For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 ma is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice. - Failure to do so may cause an accident or injury. When the hair dryer is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the hair dryer is switched off. - Failure to do so may cause an accident or injury. Do not clean the air inlet mesh with water. - Doing so may cause electric shock or fire. Intended for drying your hair and making hairstyles only. Do not use on the unit to pets and dry shoes and clothes. - Failure to do so may cause burning or fire. Keep a distance of over 10 cm between the air inlet and your hair. - Failure to do so may cause your hair to be drawn into the hair dryer and 3 cm therefore cause damage. Keep a distance of over 10 cm 3 cm between the air outlet and your hair. - Failure to do so may cause burning to your hair. When unfolding or folding the handle, do not touch the shaded area as shown in figures below. - Failure to do so may cause finger injury. Notes This hair dryer is equipped with an automatic overheating protective device. If the hair dryer overheats, it will switch to cool air mode. Switch off the hair dryer and unplug it from the household outlet. Allow it to cool down for a few minutes before using it again. Check that no fluff, hair etc. is in the air inlets and outlets before switching it on again. English 17

If you want to dry your hair quickly, set the quick-dry nozzle in the direction as shown in the illustration. If you want to concentrate the airflow for easier hair styling, adjust the set nozzle as shown in the illustration.

19 2 Set whether to have nanoe with the nanoe switch. nanoe is invisible to the naked eye. Drops of water may blow out of the nanoe outlet during use, but this is not a malfunction. If you want your hair to have more volume, set the nanoe switch to Off. 3 Select the air temperature. : Hot air : Healthy air : Cool air If you want to dry your hair with cool air, set the temperature selection switch to position Cool air. If you want to dry your hair quickly, set the temperature selection switch to position Healthy air or Hot air. 4 Select the wind power. 2: Dry (Strong airflow) 1: Set (Gentle airflow) 0: Off nanoe will be generated while the main switch is in the 1 Set (Gentle airflow) or 2 Dry (Strong airflow) position and the nanoe switch is set to On. 5 Dry your hair with the hair dryer. Blowing your hair at the roots will dry it faster. 3 cm If you are concerned that your hair may be damaged, 10 cm please set the switch to position Healthy air or Cool air. Keep a distance of over 3 cm between the air outlet and your hair. Keep a distance of over 10 cm between the air inlet and your hair. By gripping the nanoe charge panel, more nanoe can penetrate the hair with moisture and improve the nanoe effect. 6 Set the main switch to position 0, and then unplug the unit from the household outlet. After the unit has completely cooled, store it at a dry place. English 19

20 nanoe technology The hair dryer uses nanoe to reduce electrostatic accumulation and penetrate the hair with moisture. Furthermore, it makes the hair slightly acidic, tightens cuticles, and keeps your hair strong, elastic, and healthy. You may notice a characteristic odor when using this hair dryer. This is not harmful to the human body. Since nanoe is generated by collecting water in the air, it may be difficult to generate in certain environment conditions. (It is more difficult to collect water from the air when it is cold and the humidity is low.) Note: The effect of nanoe is not so pronounced for the following: - Having original curl hair. - Having hair to be furled easily. - Having wonderful and tidy hair. - Having hair straightening perm no more than 3-4 months. - Having short hair. Maintenance of the hair dryer Maintenance of main body Set the main switch to position "0", and then unplug the unit from the household outlet(except when performing maintenance on the air outlet). Wipe with a cloth soaked in soapy water and wrung tightly. Do not use paint thinner, benzene, alcohol, etc., to clean the unit. Doing so may cause failure, cracking or discoloration of the main body. Maintenance of the air outlet and air inlet (once a month or more) To clean the filter, detach the filter from the hair dryer, and remove the dust or hair using a toothbrush or vacuum cleaner. 1. 21 Remove the dust etc. adhered to the outside of the filter using a vacuum cleaner. If this does not remove the dust, use your fingers to push the dust etc. through the fine mesh on the internal side towards the metal mesh on the external side, and scrub away carefully with a toothbrush. Using the toothbrush, carefully scrub away any dust etc. from the internal side of the filter. As shown in the illustration, press the filter onto the hair dryer until a click is heard. 1 2 Maintaining the nanoe outlet If sparks occur inside the nanoe outlet, the electrodes have become dirty resulting in an abnormal discharge. If this happens, clean the inside of the nanoe outlet as follows. Clean only after turning off the power and removing the power cord from the power outlet. A needle portion is located deep within the nanoe outlet. Using a dampened cotton swab, rub this portion gently about five times. A thin cotton swab is recommended. A regular cotton swab may work, but its thick head may be difficult to insert. Do not use hard objects to clean, or allow hard objects to come into contact with, the parts of the nanoe outlet so as to avoid causing them to become deformed, which would affect the discharge of nanoe and be dangerous. The hair dryer should be plugged into the household outlet only in case of maintenance for the air outlet. To clean the air outlet, set the temperature selector to " Cool air and the main switch to 2 Dry (Strong airflow)" or "1 Set (Gentle airflow)", and rake out with a brush while cool air is blowing out. (The spark is caused by the action of thermoswitch as a protective device. It is not a fault.) The plug is abnormally overheating. During operation, the unit outputs air intermittently. The cord is abnormally overheating. When dust blocks the air inlet and air outlet, the thermoswitch will be started, and the cool air is usually blown at the moment of start-up. The air inlet is blocked by hair or hand, etc. The household outlet connected to the product may be loose. The cord is damaged. Clear away the accumulated dust (See P.20 for instructions).
