Abstract Since 1980 s, the Coca-Cola came into China and developed rapidly. From 1985 to now, the numbers of bottlers has increased from 3 to 23, and increases ulteriorly. When the Coca-Cola company came into China initially, the Chinese beverage industry was developing, and the competition among the beverage companies was mild. But now, the competition becomes very violent. As a world known enterprise, Coca-Cola company s success in China is owing to it s supply chain management. This thesis studies the China Coca-Cola company s supply chain management model and the key member in the Coca-Cola company s supply chain-the bottlers supply chain management model. And this thesis analyses the cooperation and operating model among the members of the Coca-Cola s supply chain from the supply chain management point of view, including raw material supply, information system, cooperation and management mode. Furthermore, this thesis also uses the theory of supply chain management to analyze the cooperation obstacle among the members of the Coca-Cola supply chain, and gives some advice. Finally, we could obtain some useful revelations to trace the supply chain management of our China beverage enterprises. This studying framework of this thesis is as follows: Part 1 Introducing the conception of supply chain management and it s phylogeny. Part 2 Finding the character of beverage industrial supply chain management Through introducing some characteristics of beverages Part 3 First analyzing the China Coca-Cola company s supply chain
management model and then analyzing bottlers supply chain management model. Part 4 Analyzing the cooperation obstacle between the members of the Coca-Cola supply chain, and study how to innovate the supply chain. Part 5 Summarizing up some factors which would be showcases and revelations to China beverage industry, such as the unification of large-scale and agility, the use of information system, the high density capital and focus on core business.
