Abstract Abstract Although it s well known that China s hydrometallurgical technology represents the most updated international one, it was only after the long history international enterprises giving up the rivalship and switching to purchase from China over 20 years ago. China tungsten products now enjoys the leading position in both quantity and quality. Most of the users who used to be producers lost their market advantage after the China tungsten industry growing up. XTC strongly relys on tungsten resource. If its internationalization could bring XTC the foreign fresh resource and get rid of the BOTTER NECK, XTC could help to stop repeating constructions for low developed products and prevent the waste of the tungsten resource. Then XTC could secure good tungsten concentrates in China to feed production of down stream products. The way for XTC to break through the BOTTER NECK is Internationalization Making Direct Investment Abroad. The innovation in making direct investment outside China could rebuild XTC s future advantages in competition. XTC is taken here as a case to be studied and The Theory of INTERNATIONAL PRODUCTION by John H.Dunning, Theory of INTERNATIONALIZATION STRATEGY by Igor H.Ansoff and the Mode of Internationalization Stages by Neil Accorby are used in guiding the study of XTC s strategy in internationalization. The initiator, development stages and strategy are studied in the theme. It s taken as basis for making XTC s future development strategy and the procedure plan. Key Words: Competition Advantage; Bottle Neck; Internationalization; Strategy.
