9 在你開始使用 A50 之前, 必須先安裝 ASIO 驅動程式 ASIO 驅動程式能夠讓延遲降低到 10 ms 下 你可以利用電腦中 控制面板 (Control Panel) 來調整控制 A50 的設定, 如何設定如以下描述 最低需求 PC Intel Pentium II 450MHz CPU 或者是 AMD CPU( 建議配備 Pentium III CPU with 600M MHz) Windows 98SE, ME, 2000, XP, Vista 和 Windows 7 作業系統或更新的版本 一個可使用的 USB 插口 至少 128MB 內存 應用程式必須支援 ASIO MAC Power Macintosh G3 或更高等級 一個可使用的 USB 插口 至少 256MB 內存 作業系統 Mac OS X 10.3 或更新的版本 A50 中文ASIO 驅動程式安裝 9

14 VOXOA A50 控制面板 ASIO 驅動程式控制面板 : 在 Windows 版本中,Windows 桌面右下方可看到控制面板的圖示, 在圖示上按鼠標右鍵打中開控制面板文如何操作使用控制面板是非常重要的, 你可以改變 A50 的設定在控制面板中注意 : 勾選 "Gang" 表示 1+2 及 3+4 的推子會同步運做, 勾選 "Mute" 表示靜音 HP OUTPUT 監听耳機輸出音量 : 1+2: 設定 A50 通道 1 及 2 的監听耳机輸出音量 3+4: 設定 A50 通道 3 及 4 的監听耳机輸出音量注意 : 在 DJ 軟件中的設定, 通常 1+2 為 MASTER 主要輸出,3+4 為監聽耳機輸出, 在 A50 前面板的監聽耳機插孔, 是可以同時聽到 1+2 及 3+4 的輸出, 若是只單獨聽到 DJ 軟件中監聽耳機的輸出, 可將 1+2 的音量調到最低 14

18 INTRODUCTION The VOXOA A50 is a portable, robust and professional USB audio interface for every audio computer user and A50 provides a great way to convert any analog signal into digital files. Besides standard recording and playback functionalities the A50 provides everything that is needed for professional music production. ENGLISH In its compact and full metal case, the A50 provide 2 stereo analog input (Line/Phono) and 2 stereo analog output channels with RCA connector. It is a great tool for every DJ who owns a MIDI controller without a built-in soundcard or wants to have better sound quqlity. The 2 stereo inputs are independent switchable for LINE or PHONO. It has especially been designed for DJs for an easy set up of DVS and the stereo headphone output. MIC In and headphones monitor are designed with independent knobs for easy control. Moreover the high output level (9,7dBu or 2,4VRMS) is able to drive a powerful amplifying unit. 18

21 PARTS NAME AND FUNCTION 1. RCA Input Jacks Connect your desired sound equipment; record player, CD/MP3/WMA player, turntable, mixer, effect player, cassette deck or radio, to the RCA input jacks on the A RCA Output Jacks With these jacks you can connect the A50 to speakers with a built-in amplifier, mixers or effect machines. 3. Ground Terminal Connect turntable ground leads to this ground terminal. This will reduce the humming and popping noises associated with magnetic phono cartridges. 4. USB Port Use this port to connect to the USB port of your computer. 5. Line /Phono Switch This switches are for the two inputs to switch LINE or PHONO. CAUTION : The button must be in the "Phono" position for turntable operation. 6. Microphone Volume Knob This knob can adjust the microphone input volume. 7. Microphone Jack This jack will accept a standard 1/4" plug. The volume outut level for the microphone will be contolled by the Microphone Volume Konb. 8. Headphone Jack You can connect your headphones to this jack to moniter sound. 9. Headphone Volume Knob This knob allows you to adjust the headphone volume output level. ENGLISH A50 21

23 ASIO DRIVERS INSTALLATION Before you can use the A50, you need to install its ASIO driver first. The ASIO lower latency to under 10 ms. You can configure the driver's settings using the Control Panel window. 24 PC ASIO DRIVER INSTALLATION Step 1: Place the installation CD in the CD-ROM drive of your computer and execute Setup.exe Step 4: Plug VOXOA 50 to your computer's USB port ENGLISH Step 2: Select the desired language and click "OK" Step 3: Click "Install the driver" Step 5: The ASIO installer began to initialize the USB audio device 24

28 VOXOA A50 CONTROL PANEL ASIO driver Control Panel: When you use the ASIO Driver supplied accordingly, open the ASIO-USB Control Panel in your computer. When you have the driver installed an icon will appear at the lower right of your PC Open it with mouse right button and you can view the ASIO-USB Control Panel ENGLISH It is very important that you understand well the Control Panel since it is where you change the settings of your sound card VOXOA A50 CAUTION : If you press "Gang" both sliders will move like one. If you press "Mute" the IN/OUT is muted Headphone Output Level: 1+2: sets the A50 Headphones Output level of VOXOA A50 Channels 1 and 2 3+4: sets the A50 Headphones Output level of VOXOA A50 Channels 3 and 4 28 This is the internal HP level (Inside your computer). You also have an analogue potentionmeter to further adjust the Headphone Output level (See page when the audio signal is converted from digital to analogue.) Upon your DJ Software use mode you'll have to adjust the HP Output accordingy.

29 VOXOA A50 CONTROL PANEL NOTE: ALWAYS turn down the analogue Headphones level (See page before using them. The Output level is high enough to damage your hearing. MIC Level: VOXOA A50 has two electronic paths for Microphone, one analogue and one digital (converted into digital signal and processed by your computer software) Gain: sets the Microphone Input sensitivity prior to be digitalized into your computer. Similar to a normal Gain on a mixer. For proper level setting, the precessing software on your computer shall have a level meter so you can optimize your dynamic range as is usually done with the Gain of a Mixer channel ENGLISH Through: controls the analogue electric path of the Mic signal.
