2 Please read this handbook carefully before using the tool General Safety Rules WARNING Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow all warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury. Save all warnings and instructions for future reference The term power tool in the warnings refers to your battery operated (cordless) power tool. 1) Work area a) Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered and dark areas invite accidents. b) Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes. c) Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control. 2) Electrical safety a) Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock. b) Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded. c) Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock. d) Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock. e) When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock. f) If operating a power tool in a damp location is unavoidable, use a residual current device (RCD) protected supply. Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock. 1

3 3) Personal safety a) Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal injury. b) Use safety equipment. Always wear eye protection. Safety equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries. c) Avoid accidental starting. Ensure the switch is in the off position before plugging in. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or energizing power tools that have the switch on invites accidents. d) Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury. e) Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations. f) Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry or long hair can be caught in moving parts. g) If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection facilities, ensure these are connected and properly used. Use of these devices can reduce dust related hazards. 4) Power tool use and care a) Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. The correct power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed. b) Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired. c) Disconnect the plug from the power source before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally. d) Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users. e) Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the power tools operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools. 2

4 f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control. g) Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc., in accordance with these instructions and in the manner intended for the particular type of power tool, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations different from intended could result in a hazardous situation. 5) Battery tool use and care a) Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack. b) Use power tools only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire. c) When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, lie paperclips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire. d) Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns. 6) Service Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained. Special Safety Advice for Cordless Driver 1. Hold power tool by insulated gripping surfaces, when performing an operation where the fastener may contact hidden wiring. Fasteners contacting a live wire may make exposed metal parts of the power tool live and could give the operator an electric shock. 2. Secure the workpiece. A workpiece clamped with clamping devices or in a vice is held more secure than by hand. 3. Both tools and work-pieces can heat up considerably during the drilling operation. Allow a sufficient period of cooling before handling. Wear appropriate gloves. Safety Advice for Rechargeable Battery and Charger Use only the rechargeable battery from Pro skit and the provided charger. Only plug the battery charger in 230V for PT-1802F/G type and 120V for PT-1802A type mains. Protect battery and battery charger from humidity. Do not operate the battery charger outdoors. When it is not in use and before 3

5 cleaning and servicing, disconnect the battery charger from the power supply. Take special care of the battery. Avoid dropping it onto any hard surface and do not subject it to pressure or any other form of mechanical stress. Keep the battery away from extreme heat and cold. Do not open or attempt to repair the battery or the battery charger. If any parts are defective, have them repaired by a qualified technician or send them to our service department for repair. Only charge the battery at an ambient (surrounding air) temperature between 10ºC and 40ºC. A charged battery can be used to power the tool under ambient temperature conditions between 0ºC and 50ºC.When not in use, store the battery in a dry place between 10ºC and 30ºC. Important! Danger! Never short-circuit the battery or expose it to moisture. Do not store it together with any metal parts, which could short-circuit the contacts. The battery could overheat, start burning or explode. If any person comes into contact with acid or similar internal fluids or substances contained in the battery, wash off these substances immediately with plenty of water. If these substances make contact with the eyes, rinse with plenty of water and visit a doctor immediately. Do not place the rechargeable battery into fire or water. It can explode. The rechargeable battery should not be discarded to domestic refuse, regardless of whether used or unused. You should return it to a local battery collection point in accordance with Battery Regulations or return them to us suitably marked Used Battery. 4

7 Product Features PT-1802 User s Manual LED Working Light Operating trigger Forward &Reverse switch Battery Charger Belt Hook Operation Instructions The tool is intended for driving in and loosening screws and bolts as well as for tightening and loosening nuts within the respective range of dimensions. The light of this power tool is intended to illuminate the power tool s direct working area and is not suitable for household room illumination. Insertion and Removal of Rechargeable Battery Ensuring the correct orientation between the battery and the battery compartment, insert the rechargeable battery into the machine. Do not apply force when inserting the battery. Insertion can be achieved easily and without resistance. The battery must be inserted completely until the battery retention clips on the sides of the battery compartment automatically lock it into place. To remove the battery press the battery retention clips and pulls the battery out of its compartment. Charging the Battery The rechargeable battery must be charged before the first use. The "+" and - mark on the battery pack align to the charger "+" and - mark, insert the battery into the charger and then connect the charger to the mains. Charging starts automatically. Always disconnect the charger from the mains before you remove the battery from the charger. When the battery pack is in the charging status, the red light on the left side will be light on. The charging time is around 1 ~ 1.5 hours. After the power is full, 6

8 the red light will turn off and the green light will turn on. Before remove the battery from the charger, please remove the charging plug first. Important! Only use the provided battery charger for charging the battery. Temperature Dependent Overload Protection When using as intended for, the tool cannot be overloaded. In case of excessive loading or when exceeding the allowable battery temperature range of 0 50 C, the speed is reduced or the tool switches off. In case of reduced speed,the tool will not run at full speed until after reaching the allowable battery temperature again. In case of automatic shut-off, switch the tool off, allow the battery to cool down and then switch the tool on again. FUEL GAUGE BATTERY PACKS Battery packs include a fuel gauge which consists of four red LED lights to indicate the level of charge remaining in the battery pack. To actuate the fuel gauge, press the POWER button, the four LED will light up to indicate the level of charge left. When the level of charge in the battery is below the usable limit, the fuel gauge will not light up and the battery will need to be recharged. Inserting Tool Bits Important! Always remove the battery before you change the socket or screw bit to avoid unintentional starting of the tool. With the keyless chuck of the impact driver, you do not need a key to lock the tool bit in place. Make sure that the socket or screw bit is not askew when it is inserted and the chuck is tightened. Pull the locking sleeve forward, push the tool bits to the stop into the tool holder and release the locking sleeve to lock the tool bits. Pull the locking sleeve forward and remove the insert bits. Operating Trigger/Adjusting the Speed Use the operating trigger to start the tool and keep holding it for continuous operation. The rotation speed can be varied by depressing the operating trigger. 7

9 The more the trigger is depressed, the faster rotation speed. To switch the machine off, release the operating trigger Forward and reverse switch Important! The tool must come to a complete stop before the reverse rotation lever can be used; otherwise the tool may be damaged. Use the forward and reverse switch to switch between clockwise (normal) and anticlockwise rotation or vice-versa. With the forward and reverse switch in the central position the operating trigger is locked and cannot be depressed. Put the forward and reverse switch in the central position before you put the tool down, to avoid unintentional starting. Belt Hook Practical belt hook for conveniently hanging the power tool on a belt or ladder.the belt hook will increase your efficiency and make working with the tool a breeze. Operation for Working Only use tool bits which can be securely fastened in the chuck and for which the socket/screw bits have been designed. Before using the machine check whether the screw-bit is inserted correctly. Avoid over-tightening screws/nuts/bolt, otherwise the screw head may be damaged or stripping of the threads may occur. 1. Screw/Nuts/Bolt insertion Set the direction of rotation of the power tool to the clockwise direction. Insert the tool bit into the slot in the head of the screw/nuts/bolt. Hold the tool bit perpendicular to the head of the screw, otherwise the screw thread or the screw head may be damaged. Press the tool bit against the screw/nut/bolt with a constant pressure while driving in the screw/nut/bolt. When the screw is completely screwed in, hold the machine firmly and release the On/Off trigger immediately, otherwise the screw thread or the screw head may be damaged. 2. Screw/Nuts/Bolt Removal Set the rotation direction of the socket/screw bits to the anticlockwise direction. Insert the screw-bit into the slot in the head of the screw. Hold the screw-bit perpendicular to the head of the screw/nuts/bolt, otherwise the screw or the screw head may be damaged. Press the screw bit against the screw with a constant pressure while removing the screw. Maintenance and Cleaning 8

10 Attention! Always remove the battery before carrying out any work on the machine. To clean, always use a dry or moist, but not wet, towel. Many cleaning agents contain chemical substances which may cause damage to the plastic parts of the tool. Therefore do not use any strong or inflammable cleaners such as petrol, paint thinner, turpentine or similar cleaning agents. Always keep air ventilation holes free of dust deposits to prevent overheating. 14 產品功能 PT-1802 User s Manual LED 燈 啟動開關 正反切換開關 充電座 腰帶夾 操作方法按照規定使用機器本電動工具適用於擰入和擰出螺絲, 並且可以擰緊和放鬆規定尺寸內的螺母 / 螺栓 充電本產品為鋰離子電池, 首次使用請立即進行電池充電 1. 首先取下電池包, 電池包上面的 +, - 符號, 對準充電座上的 +, - 符號方向, 將電池包平直插入充電座到底, 再連接充電電源插頭, 自動開始充電 2. 電池包在充電狀態時, 充電座上左邊的紅燈會亮起, 充電時間大約 1~1.5 小時, 電力充滿之後, 紅燈熄滅, 右邊的綠燈會亮起, 請移除充電電源插頭 重要! 充電電池僅能使用本公司提供的電池充電器 過長時間充電會對電池造成傷害 13

15 溫控的超載保護裝置如果按照規定使用電動工具, 機器不會超載 但是在強烈負載的狀況下或者蓄電池的溫度在許可溫度範圍 ( 攝氏 0 50 度 ) 之外, 電動工具會自動關閉 如果機器以低轉速繼續運作, 必須等待蓄電池的溫度恢復到許可的溫度範圍內之後, 電動工具才能夠再度以最高轉速運轉 如果機器自動關閉了, 先關閉電動工具並等待蓄電池適度冷卻之後, 再重新啟動電動工具 電池電量顯示電池包配有電量顯示功能, 由四個紅色 LED 燈組成, 用於指示電池包中剩餘的電量 請按住 POWER 按鈕,LED 燈會亮起指示剩餘電量 當剩餘電量低於可用極限, 則 LED 燈不會點亮, 電池包需要進行充電作業 安裝批頭 套筒本電動工具具有快脫夾頭, 不需要輔助工具就可以拆裝所需的批頭 拆裝前請先移除電池包, 避免誤觸開關造成人員危險 請確保套筒或批頭品質完好, 向後抽拉套筒夾頭, 平直插入套筒或批頭到底部, 再鬆開套筒夾頭 若要取出套筒或批頭, 向後抽拉套筒夾頭, 然後拉出套筒或批頭即可 啟動開關 / 調整轉速壓下啟動開關衝擊起子機即可開始工作, 如果保持一直壓下狀態, 衝擊起子機可連續工作 若鬆開啟動開關, 衝擊起子機即停止運轉 你可以無段式調整轉速, 把啟動開關按得越緊, 轉速就越快 輕按啟動開關機器以低轉速運轉 逐漸在開關上加壓, 轉速也會跟著提高 正反轉切換及鎖定重要! 在衝擊起子機完全停止下, 才可以使用正反轉切換開關, 否則可能會損壞機器 使用正反轉切換開關是使衝擊起子機, 朝順時針方向或是逆時針方向旋轉 當使用完畢請將正反轉切換開關置於中間, 衝擊起子機即被鎖定不能旋轉, 以避免意外啟動 腰帶夾使用腰帶夾可以把電動工具掛在腰帶上 操作使用請使用合格的螺絲起子頭 / 套筒產品, 並確認規格符合本產品的裝配尺寸. 1. 螺釘 / 螺母 / 螺栓擰入檢查螺絲起子頭 / 套筒是否正確插入機器及是否牢靠, 然後再啟動機器 將電動工具的旋轉方向設置為順時針方向 將螺絲起子頭 / 套筒插入螺釘 / 螺母 / 螺栓頭部的槽中 保持螺絲起子頭 / 套筒垂直於螺釘頭, 否則可能會損壞螺紋或螺釘頭 在鎖入螺釘 / 螺母 / 螺栓時, 用固定壓力將螺絲起子頭 / 套筒壓靠在螺釘 / 螺母 / 螺栓上 當螺釘 / 螺母 / 螺栓完全鎖入時, 請立即鬆開開關, 否則可能會損壞螺紋或螺絲頭 2. 螺釘 / 螺母 / 螺栓旋出將電動工具的旋轉方向設置為逆時針方向 將螺絲起子頭 / 套筒插入螺釘 / 螺母 / 螺 14

23 产品功能 PT-1802 User s Manual LED 灯 启动开关 正反切换开关 充电座 可吊挂设计 操作方法按照规定使用机器本电动工具适用于拧入和拧出螺丝, 并且可以拧紧和放松规定尺寸内的螺母 / 螺栓 充电本产品为锂离子电池, 首次使用请立即进行电池充电 1. 首先取下电池包, 电池包上面的 +, - 符号, 对准充电座上的 +, - 符号方向, 将电池包平直插入充电座到底, 再连接充电电源插头, 自动开始充电 2. 电池包在充电状态时, 充电座上左边的红灯会亮起, 充电时间大约 1~1.5 小时, 电力充满之后, 红灯熄灭, 右边的绿灯会亮起, 请移除充电电源插头 重要! 仅使用本公司提供的电池充电器 过长时间充电会对电池造成伤害 22

24 温控的过载保护装置如果按照规定使用电动工具, 机器不会过载 但是在强烈负载的状况下或者蓄电池的温度在许可温度范围 ( 摄氏 0 50 度 ) 之外, 电动工具会自动关闭 如果机器以低转速继续运作, 必须等待蓄电池的温度恢复到许可的温度范围内之后, 电动工具才能够再度以最高转速运转 如果机器自动关闭了, 先关闭电动工具并等待蓄电池适度冷却之后, 再重新启动电动工具 电池电量显示电池包配有电量显示功能, 由四个红色 LED 灯组成, 用于指示电池包中剩余的电量 请按住 POWER 按钮,LED 灯会亮起指示剩余电量 当剩余电量低于可用极限, 则 LED 灯不会点亮, 电池包需要进行充电作业 安装批头 套筒本电动工具具有快脱夹头, 不需要辅助工具就可以拆装所需的批头 拆装前请先移除电池包, 避免误触开关造成人员危险 请确保套筒或批头质量完好, 向后抽拉套筒夹头, 平直插入套筒或批头到底部, 再松开套筒夹头 若要取出套筒或批头, 向后抽拉套筒夹头, 然后拉出套筒或批头即可 启动开关 / 调整转速压下启动开关冲击起子机即可开始工作, 如果保持一直压下状态, 冲击起子机可连续工作 若松开启动开关, 冲击起子机即停止运转 你可以无段式调整转速, 把启动开关按得越紧, 转速就越快 轻按启动开关机器以低转速运转 逐渐在开关上加压, 转速也会跟着提高 23
