2 Basic Concepts 死會 的函數與類別 定義一個函數時傳遞的參數型態都被固定了 定義類別時, 資料成員的型態都被固定了 劈腿 的函數與類別 將函數與類別設計得 樣樣型態通通吃 型態便成了定義時的一種參數 ( 提供函數或類別定義時的一張空白支票 ) 資料型態 編譯時活會 執行時死會

3 Function Templates 範例 : void swapvalues(int& var1, int& var2) { int temp; temp = var1; var1 = var2; var2 = temp; 這個 宅 函數獨獨鍾情於處理整數型態的資料, 有點遜! 可否讓它 劈腿 一下, 可處理其他不同型態的資料呢?

4 Method 1: Overloading Function 例如 : void swapvalues(char& var1, char& var2) { char temp; temp = var1; var1 = var2; var2 = temp; 可惜! 程式碼幾乎一模一樣, 卻要寫成二個函數 ( 或是更多 )!

5 Method 2:Function Template 一個專開 空白支票 給人用的 花花函數 template<class T> void swapvalues(t& var1, T& var2) { T temp; temp = var1; var1 = var2; var2 = temp; class 就是 type 啦!(C++ 也可用 typename 取代 class ) T 稱為型態參數 ( 就是一張空白支票啦! 愛用什麼型態請自填 ) 有強迫一定要用 T 這個字母嗎? 沒! 但人家這個字母沒得罪你 ( 妳 ), 就將就著用吧! 花花函數不用多 ( 不像 overloading functions), 一個抵多個用, 不但省時省力, 又不會天下大亂!

9 Compiler Complications 請注意 : 大部分的 Compiler 並未支援函數樣板的分離編譯 宣告和定義最好擺在一起 ( 不要分成二個檔案了 xxx.h 和 xxx.cpp) 給您良心的建議 將函數樣板的定義放在使用此函數樣板程式檔的最前面 或是使用 #include 的方式將函數樣板定義的檔案載入

12 Multiple Type Parameters Template Functions 找出陣列中最大的元素 template <class T> T max_element( const T& foo[], T size ){ T max = 0 ; for( int i = 0 ; i < size ; ++i ) if( foo[i] > max ) max = foo[i] ; return max ; 但如果使用 unsigned int bar[s] = { 9, 6, 7 ; cout << max_element( bar, 3 ) << endl ; // 錯誤 以上的出錯原因在於樣板參數並不會自動作型別轉換, bar 的 unsigned int 型別與 3 的 int 型別不同 使用多參數型態樣板函數解決
