4 Overview 簡介 Building Energy Efficiency To enhance the energy efficiency of buildings, the Government has enacted the Buildings Energy Efficiency Ordinance. The Ordinance stipulates that designated commercial buildings are required to comply with the Building Energy Code, such as entrance lobby, public access, offices and meeting rooms. 5 Overview 簡介 Technology Passive Infrared (PIR) 被動式紅外線 Incorporating segmented lens, passive infrared motion sensors divide coverage areas into easy-to-monitor occupancy zones which are ideal for detection of walking or high level movement in small and enclosed spaces. 配備內置分段鏡頭, 被動式紅外線開關將覆蓋範圍分成多個易於監察的感應區, 對探測細小及密封空間內的步行及大幅度移動尤其敏感 Ultrasonic 超聲波 Ultrasonic sensors detect occupancy by monitoring acoustic frequency shifts caused by minor movements, such as typing and reading.
