Symphonic Band With great support from the school, students able to learn and play different instruments through the Music for All scheme since 2008.

4 Symphonic Band With great support from the school, students able to learn and play different instruments through the Music for All scheme since It aims at promoting music culture in the school as well as providing training for talents. Our school Symphonic Band has been set up at the same time. It provides more opportunity for students to share their music with each other and develop a sense of belongings through ensemble training. The performance standard of the band is continuously improving with the devoted efforts from the talented and passionate members. Other than school performances, we participated in many public music activities, including the Hong Kong International Band Fair, an exchange programme with other secondary schools and several joint school concerts in Tsuen Wan Town Hall, which were all highly praised by people. INLA Dance Team INLA Dance team practice nature loving dance that created by INLA. In 2006, our principal accompanied with some teachers to enjoy INLA Dance in AsiaWorld-Expo.

Each class has to create their dance with INLA song. In summer 2013, our dance team took part in 第一屆亞太區大自然快樂操觀摩賽. Our performance was followed by a burst of applause.

It is a charitable organization registered under the auspices of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Our mission is the implementation of values education through cultural activities.

6 Handbell Ensemble A handbell originated in England. Not until 18th century, it was used to report time in the town only. It was developed to be an instrument when ringers co-operated and rang melody together with the bells in different sizes and different pitches. The Handchime Ensemble and Handbell Ensemble in our school were established in 2011 and 2014 respectively. Since the establishment, we have given numerous acclaimed performances including a talent show in the Hong Kong Cultural Center and X mas performances in shopping malls, as well as exchange programmes and masterclasses. Also, we achieved quite good results in different competitions. The song is inspired from the scriptural reference "the joy of the Lord is your strength." (Neh. 8:10). The swing rhythm sets a delightful feeling for the opening and closing sections, while contrasted with a hymn-like middle section in minor mode. Sabre Dance Aram Khachaturian Arranged by Martha Lynn Thompson This piece comes from the Gayane Ballet and that the "Sabre Dance" is the theme for the celebration of a wedding. The music is expressing a Russian celebration of music and happiness. With the fast tempo, pulsating rhythm, repetitive theme and a simple melody, it shows a team spirit in our Handbell ensemble. Jubellation Waldrop, Tammy Beginning with a fanfare opening statement, an exuberant and energetic melody is introduced. It is then developed into a full sound followed by a contrasting middle section. Other than school performances, the School Choir attends the Hong Kong School Music Festival every year. Naplan The word Shalom is a Hebrew word meaning peace, completeness, and welfare. It can be used idiomatically to mean both hello and goodbye. The choir would like to sing the song and make it as a gift to all the old friends of the school. We hope the song may recall your happy moment and memory in the school and we wish you shalom, may peace be unto you. Credo Mark Hayes Originally written for the International Children's Choir Festival in Canterbury, England, is a delicate piece with beautiful melody. The text speaks of imagination, creativity and possibility. It encourages us to live life to the fullest with declarative statements such as I am hope, I am love, I am a servant, and I am peace. Having received the Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund Scholarship, she furthered her studies in choreography at the London Contemporary Dance School.

The team was regularly got awards (Honours Award and Highly Commended Award) in Schools Dance Festival and Kwai Tsing Dance Competition. Cheng Chor Kuen(Choreographer) Cheng graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in Having received the Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund Scholarship, she furthered her studies in choreography at the London Contemporary Dance School. Over the year, she has collaborated with several arts groups. Her overseas experience includes the tours to Taiwan, Japan, London, Korea and China. 10 Synopsis 故事大綱 83 Yearbook 83 Yearbook is a sensitive, upbeat musical about the willpower, compassion and humour that you find in Po Leung Kuk Lo Kit Sing (1983) College. Students are moving the boxes of hotoff-the-press yearbooks that have just arrived at their school. Betweenloads, they stop and flip through the pages of time, reflecting back on the year s highlights. With the help of a series of flashback scenes, we meet the members of the Drama Club and teacher Mrs. Thompson in a discussion on Raising Money and on the renaming of the school. Debbie, hiding her failing eyesight problems from fellow students and her mother, sings about how a Lucky future will hopefully help her get asked to the schooldance. Cathy reminds us how difficult it is to be a new student at a new school as she conquers her fear of walking through the notorious school corridor known as Jock Block. In another scene, promising student leader Kevin collapses while rehearsing Romeo and Juliet ; he has sadly been diagnosed with brain cancer. He gains his courage again to face the treatment and returns to school. The students see Debbie transfer to a special school for the blind, and realise their own vulnerability. They are all connected to her favourite flower the Columbine in a touching song that urges all of us to search for peace and strength within ourselves. A first-of-its-kind institute in Hong Kong that is solely dedicated to the instruction of musical theatre, we aspire to cultivate young talent and impart professionalism and discipline to musical theatre performers by providing training, exposure, advice and information in an environment conducive to networking, development, exchange and growth. We also invite overseas artists to teach masterclasses and workshops regularly. HK3AMI has produced numerous performances for schools, theatres, shopping arcades and business organizations locally and overseas. We have worked in partnership with the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, Hong Kong Arts Festival, Macao Cultural Centre and the University of Hong Kong to produce performances and devise educational and audience development programmes. 16 創作人員簡歷 Biographies of Creative Team Mohamed Drissi (Artistic Director/Choreographer) Originally from Marseilles, Mohamed is a choreographer, teacher, director, producer and performer who studied in France and in New York with renowned choreographers such as Matt Mattox, Helena and Titus Pomsar, Chet Walker, Christopher Chadman, Kathleen Marshall, Bob Rizzo and Phil Black, at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater School and the Broadway Dance Center. He performed with the companies of Manuel Alum, Anthony Morgan, Diane Jacobowitz Dance Theatre and with Forces of Nature Dance Company in modern, jazz and theatre dance. He has taught Musical Theatre Dance and Jazz worldwide and has created and premiered several jazz works, and choreographed numerous musical, including Damn Yankees, The Wizard of Oz, West Side Story, Pippin, The Vagabond, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Once On This Island, Scrooge, The Pajama Game, The Queen of Wind, Myth of Fox and Hello Dolly!. Mohamed holds a Master of Fine Arts in Drama (Directing) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Dance Education from the Queensland University of Technology (Australia), a Diploma in Jazz Dance from the French Ministry of Culture. He was a Senior Lecturer and then the Coordinator of the Musical Theatre Dance Programme at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts from 1991 to Currently, he is the Artistic Director of Hong Kong 3 Arts Musical Institute. Doris Yu (Director/ Adapation) Doris obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree, majoring in Acting, from the Drama School of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. She also studied an MA in Drama-in-Education from the University of Central England (Birmingham). She has been awarded scholarships in four academic years and joined cultural exchanges in Edinburgh, London and Taipei.She worked as a multi-language actress at the Hong Kong Disneyland, performing in the Festival of the Lion King among other duties. She has been invited as an adjudicator for Hong Kong School Drama Festival and drama competitions.she has experience as a teaching artist in over 100 local primary and secondary schools, an actress in stage shows, touring performances, TV and film, an MC for various events and as a voice over artist. Ken Ho (Music Director/ Vocal Coach) Ken studied at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majored in vocal performance. He has received the Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation Scholarship. Ken was the singing coach for the HKAPA's production of The Visit, and he has also been the music director for several HK3AMI and LCSD's musical productions, including Romeo and Harriet for the International Arts Carnival 2012, Aladdin, Pinocchio, Once on this Island, The Wizard of Oz, Grease, The Little Mermaid, etc. He has also worked with the VTC Symphony and VTC Chorus, Yip s Children Choir, and HKAPA's EXCEL, etc. PC Sei (Lighting Designer/ Stage Manager) Graduated from the CO1 School of Visual Arts, PC studied graphic design, receiving an Advanced Multimedia Diploma. He follows Leo Burnett's motto Great advertising and design ideas are always deceptively and disarmingly simple. They are touching without being patronizing. As a freelancer, PC works with different performance groups as an icube lighting designer, set designer and stage manager. He works with private organizations for project coordination and promotion. PC is also a visiting lecturer at City University of Hong Kong. 15
