3 產品導覽簡介 ADATA SSD Toolbox 是為了方便使用者能用簡單操作得到所需資訊的工具此外, 它更能增加您使用固態硬碟的壽命以及加快固態硬碟的使用效能 Toolbox 提供服務包括硬碟資訊診斷掃描工具程式系統優化和系統資訊注意事項 ADATA Toolbox 僅提供 ADATA 系列固態硬碟產品在執行韌體更新或安全抹除等相關動作之前請備份您的重要資料! 建議您在每次做固態硬碟的插拔後按下重新整理 ( 碟狀態都是最新 ), 以維持您的 Toolbox 中的硬請注意您的使用環境是否支援熱插拔, 如您並未在 BIOS 啟動 SATA 熱插拔功能, 請在電源關閉時插拔裝置在 Toolbox 使用非 ADATA 固態硬碟系列產品, 部分功能將不支援系統需求支援作業系統 Microsoft Window 7 32bit/ 64bit, Microsoft Windows 8 32bit/ 64bit, Microsoft Windows bit / 64bit. 最少留 10MB 空間執行 Tool 此軟體支援所有 ADATA 現行的 SSD 產品, 軟體部分功能因不同的產品有使用上的限制, 若需要更詳盡的資訊, 請造訪相關連結 : 3

5 執行 SSD Toolbox 您可以從以下網址下載 ADATA SSD Toolbox, 下載完請解壓縮檔案並雙擊 SSDTool.exe, 開啟 SSD Toolbox 的使用 ADATA Toolbox 功能當啟動 ADATA Toolbox 時, 將會顯示所有已連接的磁碟機資訊相關功能鍵介紹如下 / 使用者可以使用左鍵以及右鍵去選擇要動作的硬碟回到 Drive Info 畫面 Toolbox 重新掃描連結的硬碟, 並更新硬碟的資訊 5

6 硬碟資訊 Disk Drive, 顯示目前所有連接的硬碟 ( 包含非 ADATA 固態硬碟產品 ) 選定硬碟顯示的資訊包含硬碟總容量已使用容量硬碟工作溫度硬碟健康程度以及硬碟壽命 1. Disk Drive 使用者在 Disk Drive 選取不同硬碟能夠得到硬碟的名稱韌體版本序號以及 World Wide Name(WWN)

7 2. Drive Details 描述硬碟的 ATA 屬性下圖是以 ADATA SX900 為案例提供的參考圖假使您使用其他產品, 內容將不會和參考圖一致如您需要更多的訊息, 請參閱 ATA 規格書 ( 註 1 ) 3. 硬碟空間訊息在硬碟空間訊息裡, 將會顯示出每個分割磁區的硬碟代號總容量以及未使用的容量除此之外, 使用者還能得到固態硬碟目前累積寫入的資料量 (Total Byte Written, TBW) 以及目前操作的溫度 (Current Temperature), 幫助使用者對於固態硬碟的實際使用狀態有更多的了解 ( 部分的產品不支援此功能 ) 7

8 感測溫度的結果將隨著溫度區間有不同變化下圖為 Toolbox 感測溫度的標準低溫 < 溫度低於攝氏 30 度 > 正常 < 溫度介於攝氏 30 度到 70 度 > 警示 < 溫度高於攝氏 70 度 > 4. 健康程度在 Drive Info 視窗,Drive Health 將會顯示出硬碟的健康狀態此健康狀態參考值來自於 S.M.A.R.T 良好 ( 綠色 ) 所有的屬性皆正常警告 ( 黃色 ) 部分屬性不正常危險 ( 紅色 ) 重要屬性不正常請立即備份您的資料 5. 剩餘壽命在 Drive Info 視窗, 顯示固態硬碟的剩餘壽命, 此預估數值由 S.M.A.R.T 屬性所獲得若壽命低於 10%, 請將資料作完整備份 ( 部分的產品不支援此功能 ) 6. S.M.A.R.T S.M.A.R.T (Self-Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Technology, 自我監測分析報告技術 ) 可以監測硬碟的健康狀態, 及使用特殊的演算法來預測可能發生的硬碟故障更多相關資訊, 請參閱控制器規格書或連結至 S.M.A.R.T ( 註 2 )

9 ID Attribute Name ID Attribute Name 01 9 Read Error Rate - Stores data related to the rate of hardware read errors that occurred when reading data from a disk surface. Throughput Performance - Overall (general) throughput 02 * performance of a hard disk drive. If the value of this attribute is decreasing there is a high probability that there is a problem with the disk. Spin-Up Time 03 * - Average time of spindle spin up (from zero RPM to fully operational 05 [milliseconds]). Reallocated Sectors Count -When the hard drive finds a read/write/verification error, it marks that sector as "reallocated" and transfers data to a special reserved area (spare area). Seek Error Rate 07 * - (Vendor specific raw value.) Rate of seek errors of the magnetic heads.. 08 * 09 0A * 0C Seek Time Performance - Average performance of seek operations of the magnetic heads. If this attribute is decreasing, it is a sign of problems in the mechanical subsystem. Power-On Hours (POH) - The raw value of this attribute shows total count of hours in power-on state. Spin Retry Count - Count of retry of spin start attempts. Power Cycle Count - This attribute indicates the count of full hard disk power on/off cycles. Vendor Specific Unexpected Power Loss Count - Counts the number of unexpected power loss events since the drive was deployed. Vendor Specific Wear Range Delta - Returns the percent difference in wear between the most-worn block and leastworn block. Program Fail Count - Total number of Flash program operation failures since the drive was deployed Erase Fail Count -Four bytes used to show the number of block erase failures since the drive was deployed Reported Uncorrectable Errors -The count of errors that could not be recovered using hardware ECC A7 * Vendor Specific C0 * - Count of times the heads are loaded off the media. Heads can be unloaded Unsafe Shutdown Count without actually powering off.

The raw value of this attribute shows the total count of attempts to transfer data from reallocated sectors to a spare area. Both successful & unsuccessful attempts are counted Current Pending Sector Count - Count of "unstable" sectors (waiting to be remapped, because of unrecoverable read errors). Uncorrectable Soft Read Error Rate - Number of soft read errors that cannot be fixed on-the-fly and requires deep recovery via RAISE Soft ECC Correction Rate - Number of errors corrected by RAISE that cannot be fixed on-the-fly and requires RAISE to correct. Life Curve Status -A life curve used to help predict life in terms of the endurance based on the number of writes to flash E9 * EA * F0 * F1 * F2 * blocks currently available for use Vendor Specific Vendor Specific Vendor Specific Lifetime Writes from Host -Indicates the total amount of data written from hosts since the drive was deployed.
