4 摘要 本文结合二氧化钛 (TiO 2 ) N- 异丙基丙烯酰胺 (NIPAM) 和丙烯酸 (AA) 的特性, 制备了具有光敏 温敏和 ph 敏感性能的复合微球, 并进一步考察了复合 微球在不同温度和 ph 值下对甲基橙溶液 (MO) 的光降解反应 用溶胶凝胶法制备了 TiO 2 纳米粒子, 并用 γ- 甲基丙烯酰氧基丙基三甲氧基 硅烷 (γ-mps) 对表面进行改性, 继而采用光引发自由基聚合制备了 P(NIPAM-co-AA) 包裹 TiO 2 的复合微球, 考察了共聚单体 AA 表面活性剂司盘 80 (Span80) 在反应体系中的加入量对制备微球的影响, 并比较了不用干燥方法对微球成球的影响 通过傅里叶红外光谱 (FTIR) 热重分析 (TGA) X 射线衍射 (XRD) 扫描电子显微镜 (SEM) 透射电镜 (TEM) 和 X 射线光电子能谱 (XPS) 等手段对微球的组成 结构和形态进行了表征分析 研究结果表明 :TiO 2 被成功包埋在聚合物中, 复合微球的粒径约为 2.5 μm, 具有良好的球形度和分散度 采用动态光散射仪 (DLS) 测试了一系列不同温度和 ph 值下微球的溶胀变化情况 微球的体积相变温度 (VPTT) 随 ph 值变化,pH 值增大, VPTT 上升, 表现出快速的环境响应性 利用甲基橙溶液 (MO) 作为目标污染物, 考察了不同温度和 ph 下, 复合微球对 MO 的光催化降解作用 研究发现 : 降解率与微球的溶胀行为有很密切的关系, 低 ph 值和较高温度下微球溶胀较小, 降解率较高 而且, 文章还对复合微球的回收再利用进行了考察, 重复使用 5 次复合微球, 发现降解率仍能保 持较高水平 另外, 文章对微流控技术制备尺寸均一的微球进行了初步研究 用硅烷试剂对铬板玻璃制成的微流控芯片进行硅烷化处理, 配制油水两相, 用微流装置制成 W/O 型乳液, 通过 UV 引发光聚合生成有机物包裹无机粒子的复合微球 关键词 :NIPAM TiO 2 光催化降解
5 Abstract Composite microspheres with photo-, thermo- and ph-sensitive properties were prepared using titanium dioxide (TiO 2 ), N-isopropylacrylamide (NIPAM) and acrylic acid (AA). Then their photodegradation of methyl orange (MO) solution under different temperatures and phs was studied. TiO 2 nanoparticles were prepared by sol-gel method and modified by silane coupling agent, γ-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane (γ-mps). P(NIPAM- co-aa) / TiO 2 composites were produced via photo-induced radical polymerization. The effects of the contents of AA, Span80 and different drying conditions on the preparation were investigated. Composition, structure and morphology of the composites were characterized by Fourier-transform infrared spectra (FTIR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The results indicate that TiO 2 was successfully encapsulated in the copolymer in spherical shapes with size of 2.5 μm. The thermo and ph- responsive properties of the composites were observed using dynamic light scattering (DLS). Both ph and temperature are found to have great effects on the VPTT of the composite which exhibits rapid ph- and thermo-sensitivity. The photocatalytic property of the composites was studied using UV-vis spectrophotometer on the degradation of methyl orange (MO) solution with various phs and temperatures. Degradation ratio is higher at low ph and increases as the temperatures rises when the temperature is above volume phase transition temperature (VPTT). The degradation process was repeated for five times and the photocatalysis activity of the composite microspheres was still good enough for recycle. Besides, synthesis of uniform microspheres via microfluidic devices was preliminarily investigated. Microfluidic chips made of chrome plate glass were modified by silane reagent. The oil phase and aqueous phase were made and formed

13 第一章绪论 第一章绪论 1.1 有机无机复合微球综述 引言有机无机复合微球是由两种或两种以上物理和化学性质不同的物质组合而成的一种多相固体粒子 复合微球的组分材料虽然保持其相对独立性, 但复合微球的性能却不是组分材料性能的简单加和, 而是有着重要的改进 在复合材料中, 通常有一相为连续相, 称为基体 ; 另一相为分散相, 称为增强材料 分散相是以独立的形态分布在整个连续相中, 两相之间存在着相界面 分散相可以是增强纤维, 也可以是颗粒或弥散的填料 复合材料的性质不仅取决于单个组份的性质, 更取决于两相的形貌和两相间的作用力 由于复合材料各组合之间 取长补短, 协同作用, 极大地弥补了单一材料的缺点, 展示出单一材料所不具有的新性能 有机无机复合微球的制备方法近些年来, 研究颇多的是有机无机纳米复合微球 图 1.1 是各种复合微球的结构示 [1] 意图,(1, 8) 是典型的核壳结构,(2) 是分散夹心结构,(3, 6) 是山莓状结构,(4) 是须毛结构,(5) 是发生壳交联的结构,(7) 是层状壳结构,(9) 是有机无机杂化互穿网络结构 图 1.1 复合微球的结构示意图 Fig. 1.1 Schematic structure of organic-inorganic composites 1
14 第一章绪论 微球的基本制备方法 主要有悬浮聚合 细乳液聚合 乳液聚合以及分散聚合等 悬浮聚合和细乳液聚合 的成核地点在液滴内, 其他不在液滴内 (1) 液滴内成核法 这种方法包括悬浮聚合和细乳液聚合法, 将无机物分散在单体液滴内, 液滴的表面 被稳定剂包覆后, 单体在液滴内边聚合边将无机物包埋在内, 制备原理如图 1.2 所示 无机颗粒一般亲水性较强, 分散前要进行疏水处理或采用分散剂, 一般采用乳化剂或其 他两亲性物质对无机颗粒进行表面处理和分散 单体 无机颗粒 聚合 图 1.2 液滴内成核机理 Fig. 1.2 Droplets nucleation mechanism 悬浮聚合法可以制备数微米至数百微米的大微球, 聚合系统由磁性粒子 疏水性单 体 水 ( 分散相 ) 表面活性剂以及疏水性引发剂构成 含有引发剂的单体油滴通常由 机械搅拌方式来制备, 表面活性剂吸附在油滴的表面而使其稳定 依靠引发剂作用使单 体在无机粒子表面发生均聚或者共聚形成微球 无机磁性颗粒一般亲水性较强, 要将其 均匀地分散在单体中, 必须首先进行无机颗粒的疏水处理或采用分散剂 一般可采用乳 化剂或其它两亲性物质对无机颗粒进行表面处理或分散, 而这个难点在于针对不同的纳 米颗粒和聚合单体, 必须选择适当的分散剂 Shim 等 2 [2] 采用悬浮聚合法用聚甲基丙烯 酸酯 (Poly methyl methylacrylate,pmma) 包埋了 ZnO 无机颗粒, 比较了无机颗粒表面 处理对包埋效果的影响, 发现聚二甲基硅氧烷处理过的 ZnO 分散稳定性远远优于未处 理的 ZnO, 使得包埋效果大大提高 而用亲水性聚合物包埋无机颗粒能实现较好的效果, [3] Denkbas 等用壳聚糖包埋了磁性微球, 包埋效果很好, 微球光滑 聚合物 细乳液聚合可制备纳米级 (500 nm 以下 ) 的小液滴, 并使反应在液滴内进行 要想 使聚合反应只在小液滴内进行, 需要制备非常小的液滴, 而且必须同时使用乳化剂和助
15 第一章绪论 表面活性剂来使小液滴稳定, 并减少单体向水相的扩散 因为只有使液滴小而稳定, 从水相捕捉自由基的概率增加, 才可使成核在液滴内进行 微小液滴的制备方法 : 将单体和助活性剂加入含有乳化剂的水相后, 用超声波或微流化装置进行乳化 亲水性引发剂和疏水性引发剂均可以使用, 只是聚合机理不同 细乳液与悬浮聚合法相比较, 液滴很小为纳米级, 而且粒径分布较窄 所以其液滴较小较稳定, 其扩散瓦解现象可以得到缓 解, 包埋效果往往比悬浮聚合法好 Xu 等 [4] 将 Fe 3 O 4 分散到单体 交联剂的混合溶液 作为水相, 加入含 Span80 的环己烷, 超声成 W/O 型细乳液, 用偶氮二异丁腈热引发制 备了亲水性聚丙烯酰胺包埋 Fe 3 O 4 的复合微球, 粒径为 100 nm 左右, 包埋效果很好 然而, 这种方法制备的复合微球包裹的无机颗粒含量较难控制, 要实现单包裹, 需要严格的控制实验条件, 要保持无机粒子的高度分散等等 (2) 非液滴内成核法这种方法包括乳液聚合 无皂乳液聚合 分散聚合以及沉淀聚合法 如图 1.3 所示, 乳液聚合或无皂乳液聚合是以无机纳米颗粒为核, 油滴内的单体向水相扩散, 在水中或胶束中进行聚合形成寡聚物或一次颗粒沉淀在无机颗粒表面, 表面的聚合物进一步吸收单体并聚合, 最后形成高分子膜包覆在无机颗粒表面 聚合物 单体液滴 无机颗粒 单体向水中扩散, 以无机颗粒为核, 在核上聚合 图 1.3 非液滴内成核机理 Fig. 1.3 Non-droplets nucleation mechanism 核成长 乳液聚合中, 起始状态单体不溶或微溶于聚合介质, 引发剂可以溶解在介质中但不溶于单体 聚合机理的研究是对条件控制的先决条件, 目前提得最多的有两种 : 一种是 [5,6] 胶束成核理论 : 在加入引发剂之前, 聚合体系由单体液滴 单体溶胀胶束以及水相组成, 水相中溶有自由乳化剂和极少量的单体, 在体系内加入水溶性引发剂后, 引发剂在水相中分解成初级自由基, 初级自由基或立即被溶胀胶束捕捉, 或在水相中与溶解于 3
16 第一章绪论 水的单体聚合, 成长为低聚物自由基后被溶胀胶束捕捉, 然后聚合反应在溶胀胶束内进 行 另一种是均相成核理论 [7] : 引发剂在水相中分解成初级自由基后, 与溶解于水的单 体聚合, 聚合至临界链长后, 低聚物自由基从水相中沉淀出来形成核, 多个核发生聚集, [8] 然后从水相中吸收单体, 在微球内聚合 Nagai 等 用反应性阳离子表面活性 (cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide, CTAB) 和阴离子引发剂 (potassium persulfate, KPS), [9] 通过吸附, 将乳液聚合限制在硅胶颗粒的表面, 得到包埋效果好的复合微球 Yu 等用 乳液聚合法合成了聚合物包裹 TiO 2 纳米粒子的复合微球, 经表征分析, 无机粒子很好 的包埋在聚合物内部, 预测在电泳显示器中有很好的应用前景 为了减少水中新颗粒的 生成,Luna-Xavier 等 [10] PMMA 包裹二氧化硅 指出采用单体的流加法, 使聚合体系处于单体饥饿状态, 制备 分散聚合法可以制备纳米级至微米级的微球, 粒径分布均匀, 近年来受到青睐, 成 为一种发展较迅速的微球制备技术 聚合体系最初是均相溶液 ( 单体 引发剂和稳定 剂 ), 聚合后的聚合物不溶于溶剂 聚乙烯醇 (poly vinyl alcohol, PVA) 聚乙烯吡咯烷 酮 (poly vinyl pyrrolidone, PVP) 是最常用的稳定剂 Gao [11] 等人用 PVP 作为稳定剂, 以两种方法合成了聚苯乙烯接枝到二氧化硅上的有机无机复合粒子, 比较了两种方法对 接枝度的影响, 发现分散聚合的接枝度明显高于溶液聚合 Jiang [12] 等人考察了稳定剂 (PVP) 浓度对甲基丙烯酸甲酯分散聚合的影响, 发现稳定剂浓度和聚合反应动力学 合 成粒子的数目都没有关系 另外, 嵌段聚合物和接枝聚合物作为稳定剂能起到更好的作 用 Itoh [13] 等人制备了聚苯乙烯 -b- 聚氨甲基苯乙烯嵌段聚合物作为反应的稳定剂, 并考 察了嵌段的长度对粒子尺寸 粒径分布等的影响 沉淀聚合不使用稳定剂, 靠添加一些 与分散相有亲和作用的单体来使微球稳定 Kondo [14] 等用沉淀聚合法制备了温敏磁性微 球, 在酶固定方面有很好的应用前景, 而且回收问题能通过磁场有效的解决 其他制备方法 Zhang [15] 等人将醋酸铅溶解在甲基丙烯酸水溶液中, 与油相制成 W/O 型乳液, 用 反相悬浮聚合法合成了包埋 Pb 2+ 的聚甲基丙烯酸 (poly methylacrylic acid, PMAA) 微 球, 然后加入 H 2 S, 使之扩散进入微球内部原位生成 PbS 沉淀, 形成无机颗粒为核 聚 合物为壳的复合微球 Ding [16] 等人制备了聚苯乙烯微球, 用硅烷偶联剂 KH570 对表面进行硅烷化处理后, Na 2 SiO 3 在表面发生反应生成 SiO 2 包覆层 Ji [17] 等合成了有机 / 无机 / 有机三重的复合微 4
