4 歷史及現況簡介 A Brief History and Recent Development 基督少年軍 (The Boys' Brigade) 源自英國, 是歷史上首個青少年制服組織, 至今已有 126 年歷史 其創辦人威廉 亞力山大 史勿夫爵士於年輕時是一位教會的主日學老師 他感到傳統的主日學模式難以滿足少年人的好奇心和好動的個性, 所以善用其義勇軍人的背景, 把團隊精神和軍事紀律融合在宗教活動中, 以更多元化的方式教育少年人 史勿夫爵士於 1883 年 10 月 4 日召集了約 60 名少年人, 在格拉斯哥學院自由教會舉行集隊儀式 時至今日, 基督少年軍已成為一國際性宣教運動, 在世界各地約有 60 多個國家有基督少年軍組織的成立 香港基督少年軍則於 1959 年開始在香港正式發展, 核心服務包括 : The Boys' Brigade was originated in Scotland of United Kingdom, which was the world's first uniformed organization for youth. Sir William Alexander Smith, our Founder, who was a Sunday school teacher of a church. He felt that traditional Sunday school approach was hard to satisfy the curiosity and energetic disposition of youths. Thus, he made good use of his background as a Volunteer of Military Force, integrated the elements of team spirit as well as military discipline into the existing religious activities. On 4 Oct 1883, he gathered about 60 youths at the College Free Church in Glasgow and started the first parade. Nowadays, The Boys' Brigade has already become an international mission movement, with Companies established in over 60 countries worldwide. The Boys Brigade, Hong Kong (BBHK) was started in Our core services include: 制服團隊服務 迄今 ( 至 2009 年 3 月底 ) 已有 269 支分隊成立, 總成員超過 9,500 人, 分別隸屬於不同宗派的基督教教會 中學 小學 幼稚園 國際學校 特殊學校 青少年中心 家庭服務中心 ; 和弱智人士庇護工塲及宿舍 分隊每週集隊一次, 透過基督教教育 步操 技能教授 體能訓練 社交技巧訓練等, 再配合不同級別的獎勵計劃, 使隊員在身 心 靈方面得到均衡的發展, 培養他們成為愛主的基督徒 青少年領袖及社會中的良好公民 訓練及拓展服務 轄下單位包括臻訓中心及訓練學校 前者專門為少年軍導師 隊員 學校 教會 機構及商界員工提供多項專業培訓服務, 內容包括領袖潛能 團隊溝通 品格培養 個人成長等 中心更負責提供挪亞方舟跨越奇園之繩網及歷奇活動 而訓練學校是本會一個集訓及退修的營地 除了提供各項訓練服務, 我們近年更致力與各公司 機構共同策劃合作計劃, 回饋社會 學校社會工作服務 為本地中學提供駐校專業輔導服務, 支援青少年及其家庭之社交心理需要 Uniformed Group Service We have now (up to the end of March 2009) 269 Companies established, with more than 9,500 strong membership. They are affiliated to various churches of different denominations, secondary schools, primary schools, kindergartens, international schools, special schools, youth centres, family service centres; and sheltered workshops cum hostels for the mentally handicapped. These Companies meet once a week and they aim to assist a balance development of member s body, mind and spirit, and to nurture them into committed Christians, youth leaders and good citizens of the society through the teaching of Christian truth, foot drill, life skills, social skills and physical training at different levels of complexity and awards. Training and Development Service Anchor House is one of the service units that offers tailor-made professional training services to our Uniformed Group members, schools, churches, organizations & corporate firms, in which the main theme include leadership development, team communication, character nurturing, and self-development. Anchor House also manages and provides the rope course and adventure-based services of Noah's Adventureland in Noah s Ark. Training School is another service unit that provides campsite service for training and retreat purpose. In recent years, we start to explore with the business sectors for joint social service projects as a gesture to repay our society. School Social Work Service We offer in-school professional counselling services to local secondary schools, giving support to the social and psychological needs of young people and their families.

5 執行委員會主席的話 Message from the Chairperson of the Executive Committee 胡定邦先生 Mr. Sunny WU Ting-pang 一直期盼的香港基督少年軍 50 週年慶典終於蒞臨, 懷著既興奮又戰戰兢兢的心情去迎接, 揭開序幕是座落於馬灣挪亞方舟的臻訓中心的開幕典禮, 繼而將會有各項精彩的慶典節目 談到馬灣臻訓中心, 本人從開始談論的初階段 ( 遠至 2002 年 ), 直至 2008 年挪亞方舟完成建設, 一直參與籌劃, 見證到臻訓中心成立, 心中要歡呼讚美三位一體神, 高舉主耶穌基督, 這是標誌香港基督少年軍新的發展里程碑 ; 從起初我們一無所有, 神為少年軍預備了一個設備優良的訓練中心, 感謝神! 少年軍於今個年度內落實的另外一項重要發展是少年軍分區化 香港面積不大, 但人口密集, 高度城市化, 發展迅速 ; 少年軍分隊及會員在過去數年間不斷上升, 直至 2009 年 3 月底總人數接近 9,500 人, 為要有穩固的內在力, 在數年前已經開始籌備 分區化計劃 ; 經歷不斷的試驗 無數的會議和實踐計劃, 直至今年 9 月五個分區正式成立, 相信對未來的工作推動有莫大的益處 要數算的恩典很多, 不能盡在此記錄, 但還有一樣必需要分享 香港基督少年軍的公司註冊 為要有更大的保障和加強未來發展, 執行委員會多年來均希望完成此心願 註冊過程耗用數年時間, 當中存在很多困難, 至 2009 年 2 月獲香港政府公司註冊處通知, 獲批准正式成為 香港基督少年軍有限公司, 感謝神! 以上提及的數件大事, 都是在不同的時段中開始, 卻都能在今年度裏成就, 感謝神的厚賜, 對未來的少年軍運動發展都有益處, 願神繼續統帥運動的推行, 福音廣傳, 幫助青少年人的成長! The long-awaited 50th Anniversary Celebration of BBHK had finally arrived. How I welcomed the day with trembling excitement! Capped by it all was the opening ceremony of our Anchor House at the Noah s Adventureland in Ma Wan, which heralded a series of wonderful celebrating events. As far as the Anchor House is concerned, right from the early stage of discussion (as far back as 2002) until the completion of Noah s Ark, I have been involved in its consultation and planning. To be able to witness the erection of the Anchor House has given me all the reasons to praise our Trinity God. How we should lift up the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! The Anchor House represents a sure milestone of the development of BBHK. From starting with nothing at the beginning till the providence of such a wellequipped training establishment presently, I could but praise the Lord! Another important area of development this year is the completion of the process of Districtisation. With Hong Kong s particulars such as space limitation, dense population, ruthless urbanization, and speedy developments, the number of Companies and new membership have been continuously rising in the last few years. We registered a total of 9,500 members at the end of March In order to fortify the inner strength of our organisation, we started looking into the plan for Districtisation several years back. Through tireless trials, endless meetings and the actual carrying out of plans, all 5 administrative districts will have been birthed by September this year. We believe this would be most beneficial to our future developments. It is just impossible to record all our blessings here though I feel I ought to share just one more item, that is, the registration of BBHK as a limited company. It has always been the wish of the Executive Committee to take this to completion so that it adds better protection and strength to our future developments. Registration has been a long drawn-out process dotted with lots of difficulties. However, we were informed of the success of incorporation by the Companies Registry of HK Government as The Boys Brigade, Hong Kong Limited Company in February Praise the Lord! The few major events mentioned above had all been started at different time in the past, and yet all of them have or will have found their completion this year. Praise God for His abundant providence in making all these events beneficial to all our future developments. May God continue to lead our movement on, enabling us to spread the gospel which would be of help to bring up our young people.

6 總幹事報告 Report from the Brigade Secretary 吳淑玲女士 Ms. Angel NG Suk-ling 香港社會服務聯會於 2008 年發表 香港社會發展指數 的結果顯示, 香港社會並未能為家庭提供一個合適 有利其發揮照顧及培育下一代等家庭功能的環境 另外, 貧富差距擴大 社會服務供不應求 通脹加劇, 均令基層市民面對極大困境 究竟如何締造好的土壤讓青少年人成長呢? 這是基督少年軍運動眾牧長 伙伴教會 學校必須深思和努力的方向 於此, 我們秉持著下列四大使命服侍年輕新一代 : 1. 帶領青少年認識和接受耶穌基督, 讓基督成為他們的主和生命的主 2. 以基督教教育為理念, 幫助青少年建立良好的價值觀, 培養基督化的人格 3. 發掘領袖潛能, 培訓青少年成為教會和社會上的領袖, 訓練服侍青少年的生命良師 4. 藉制服團隊的訓練模式, 致力全面發展青少年的成長 過去一年, 香港基督少年軍不斷地努力締造好的土壤服侍年青人, 在這本年報中, 記載著點滴的事工及花絮, 足見眾同工及義工在這生命工程的付出, 委身和服侍年青人的決心 最後, 套用財政司司長在預算案演辭的結語作結 一位德國神學家曾經說過, 一個道德社會的最終考驗, 端視我們給予下一代一個怎樣的社會 我希望我們的下一代, 會生活在一個 緊懷信念, 勇於面對 敢於希望, 擁抱明天 的社會 但願香港基督少年軍運動, 繼續堅守使命, 締造 敢於希望, 擁抱明天 的土壤, 服侍我們的新一代 The Hong Kong Social Development Index (SDI) published in 2008 indicates that Hong Kong has yet to develop an environment that adequately and purposefully aids family issues such as caring for and bringing up our next generation. Besides, the gap between the rich and the poor has been on the increase, whereas community services have fallen short on demands while inflation deepens, all these amounts to greater hardship that grass-root citizens have to endure. How could we create a stratum of 'good soil' for young people to grow in? This is the goal of us as spiritual leaders, as well as church and school partners of the BB movement ought to reflect and act upon. Here are the four goals we hold firmly ahead of us in our vision of serving the young generation: 1. To lead the youths to Christ and to ensure that Jesus would be the Lord of their lives. 2. To develop Christ-like characters by instilling proper sense of values into youths through Christian education. 3. To uncover leadership potentials so that young people could be brought up to become leaders of churches and of the society, and in turn to become trainers for future young lives. 4. To promote a balanced and healthy lifestyle among young people through the training mode of uniformed group. In the past years, BBHK has worked tirelessly to provide a stratum of 'good soil' to minister to young people. In this annual report, we have recorded key events of our ministries and related anecdotes which are more than enough for all to see what our staff and volunteers have offered for life building, and how determined they are to commit their hearts and minds to serve the young people. Lastly, I would like to conclude by quoting our Financial Secretary s conclusion for his Budget Speech, 'A German theologian once said, "The ultimate test for any moral society is to see what sort of a society that has been handed down to the next generation". I hope that our next generation will live in a society that holdfast to principles they believe in, and will be able to face up to difficulties, dare to have hope and to be confident enough to embrace the future. May BBHK movement continue to holdfast to its vision, creating a stratum of 'good soil' where our next generation would 'dare to have hope and be confident enough to embrace the future.'

7 總部活動 Events Highlight Headquarters Activities 臻訓中心奉獻禮暨 50 週年紀念活動開幕禮 (2009 年 2 月 15 日 ) 本會有幸邀請到民政事務局常任秘書長尤曾家麗女士蒞臨擔 任主禮嘉賓, 並聯同本會 45 支分隊及 200 多位嘉賓一同見證臻訓 中心和 50 週年紀念活動的開幕 大會安排了繩網示範活動, 四 位 飛人 在詩歌的伴奏下將柴枝投進繩網陣中心的模擬大火盆 中, 意味著臻訓中心能夠像火焰般興旺 在開幕禮之中的另一個 重頭戲便是 馬賽克錨的揭幕 大會邀請眾嘉賓上台, 共同完 成一幅由馬賽克砌成本會會徽的作品 該作品上的每一顆馬賽克 都是由導師及隊員親手畫上的小錨拼合而成, 充滿著每位成員對 香港基督少年軍的祝福及心意 Opening Ceremony of Anchor House cum 50th Anniversary Programmes (15 Feb 2009) 事工紀要 We were honoured to have Mrs. Carrie YAU TSANG Ka-lai, Permanent Secretary for Home Affairs, to be our Guest of Honour, together with 45 Companies and over 200 guests, to celebrate the opening of Anchor House cum 50th Anniversary Programmes. High rope course demonstration was scheduled, with 4 "Fly-ers" putting pieces of firewood into a huge bowl located at the centre of the rope course, gesturing our anticipation for the Anchor House s operation to flourish. Another climax of the Opening Ceremony was the unveiling of the "Mosaic Anchor Artwork", which was given the final touches by our VIP guests. The anchor on the Artwork is made up of many pieces of mosaics on to each of which small anchors were drawn by our Officers and Brigaders, which represent their good will and blessings to us 年創辦人紀念日大會操暨感恩崇拜 (2008 年 10 月 26 日 ) 是項週年盛事假小西灣運動場舉行, 本會非常榮幸邀請了香港聖公會教省主教長鄺保羅大主教擔任檢閱官及中華基督教會香港區會總幹事蘇成溢牧師擔任感恩崇拜講員 當天接受檢閱的導師及隊員共 2,100 多人, 總入場人數為 5,200 多人, 當中包括各友好嘉賓 總部會員及 107 支分隊 2 支試辦分隊之導師 隊員及家長 本會亦於會操後向導師頒發長期服務獎和榮譽勳章 ; 並向隊員頒授創辦人章和會長章 Founder s Day and Thanksgiving Service 2008 (26 Oct 2008) This annual event was successfully held at Siu Sai Wan Sports Ground. We were honoured to have The Archbishop of Sheng Kung Hui, Hong Kong, Rev. Paul KWONG, to be our inspector; and Rev. SO Shing-yit, General Secretary of The Hong Kong Council of the Church of Christ in China, to share the Bible message. More than 2,100 members were inspected and over 5,200 people including the guests, HQ members, Officers, Brigaders and parents from 107 Companies & 2 Trial Companies, participated in the event. We also presented the Long Service Medals and Meritorious Service Medals to our committed Officers; while Founder s Badge and President s Badge to our outstanding Brigaders.

8 2008 年週年代表會議 (2008 年 6 月 29 日 ) 2008 年度週年代表會議假基督教香港 信義會信義中學舉行, 當天共有 248 人出席 會議 就本會的事工報告 事工計劃 財政報告及財政預算等進 行商討和通過, 並且選出 年五位新任執行委員會 成員 會議前更加入小組分享環節, 讓導師回顧在少年軍 事奉的歷程和感恩的事情 同時, 會上亦頒發了 5 年長期服 務狀 名譽嘉許章及訓練嘉許章等獎項 Annual General Meeting 2008 (29 June 2008) AGM was held at ELCHK Lutheran Secondary School, and 248 Officers attended the meeting. Matters including work reports, future plans, financial report and the new budget were discussed and endorsed, together with the election of five new Executive Committee members for the year of Besides, small group thanksgiving sharing was conducted before the commencement of AGM. Five Year Long Service Awards, Honourable Service Badges, Training Award Badges were also presented on the same day 年度導師日聚餐 (2008 年 6 月 29 日 ) 緊接著週年代表會議, 導師日聚餐於同一晚進行 當晚延開 50 席, 共 600 多人參加 不少導師獲頒發各委員會 工作小組及教練之委任狀和各項訓練課程的證書, 各人亦很珍惜彼此交誼的時間 Officers' Day 2007 (29 June 2008) Officers' day 2007 took place after AGM 2008 and 600 people took part in the banquet, occupying 50 tables. Many Officers were presented with the commissioning certificates for various committees and training courses. The time of fellowship was most treasured by all 年步操比賽 (2009 年 2 月 15 日 ) 2009 年步操比賽首次於馬灣挪亞方舟舉行, 當日有超過 1,500 人參賽及觀賽分隊 上午於方舟籃球場舉行崇拜, 共有 600 人參與, 崇拜後隨即舉行步操比賽開幕禮 當日主禮嘉賓 為香港警務處前任警察機動部隊校長黃志雄總警司 ( 現任香 港警務處助理處長 ( 行動 )) 除了會長盃及主席盃, 是次 新增比賽項目為 試辦區紀念盃 是次比賽賽果請參閱第 48 頁 Drill Competition 2009 (15 Feb 2009) Drill Competition 2009 was first held at Noah's Ark in Ma Wan. Over 1,500 people came to participate and watch the competition. 600 of which joined a worship held in the morning. We had the honour to invite Mr. WONG Chi-hung, former Chief Superintendent of Hong Kong Police Force Police Tactical Unit Commandant (Current Assistant Commissioner of Police (OPS)), to be our guest. Apart from President's Cup and Chairperson's Cup, a special cup named "Provisional District Cup" was introduced this year. Please refer to page 48 for the results of the competition.

9 年讀經運動暨聖經問答比賽 (2008 年 1 月至 8 月 ) 此活動乃與香港讀經會合作, 目的為鼓勵初級組及中級組持續閱讀聖經, 共有來自 17 支分隊約 350 名隊員參加 經過 8 個月的推動, 本會於 8 月 23 日舉行聖經問答比賽, 並邀請循道衛理佈道團作話劇表 演 是次比賽結果請參閱第 48 頁 Bible Reader Scheme and Bible Quiz (Jan Aug 2008) This activity was jointly organized with Scripture Union of Hong Kong with the aim to encourage consistent bible reading among Junior and Company Sections. Around 350 Brigaders from 17 Companies participated in it. A Bible Quiz was held on 23 August 2008 and a drama was performed by Methodist Evangelistic Ministry. Please refer to page 48 for the results of the competition. 一領一 奇妙的旅程電影佈道會 (2008 年 11 月 29 日 ) 為配合 一領一 國度擴展行動, 本會與影音使團合辦是次 佈道會 當天由藝人高皓正先生分享見證, 第 57 分隊隊牧文展圖 牧師主講信息 佈道會總出席人數有 250 人;決志及回轉人數有 35 人;想更深認識信仰有 41 人 One Plus One Evangelical Film Show (29 Nov 2008) In order to facilitate the effects of the "One Plus One - Christ's Kingdom Advancement Programme", we co-organized a film show with The Media Evangelism Limited. Mr. Zac KAO, a Christian artist shared his testimonial and Rev. MAN Chintao, Chaplain of the 57th Company gave the sermon. 250 Brigaders participated in the film show, of which 35 declared their commitments for Jesus, while 41 said they would like to have further knowledge over Christianity. 馬灣挪亞方舟事工祈禱會 (2008 年 7 月 17 日 ) 逾 200 名本會成員 連同新鴻基有限公司及挪亞方舟其他參與機構的代表一同參與祈禱會, 當天導師和隊員共同製作 方舟心連心 (Noah's Ark Relay) 的心意咭, 表達對方舟的祝福和代禱 Noah s Ark Prayer Meeting (17 July 2008) Over 200 of our members, together with representatives from Sun Hung Kai & Co, and other participating organizations of the Noah's Ark, joined the prayer meeting. Attending Officers and Brigaders made "Noah's Ark Relay" greeting cards to express their blessings and intercession for the Ark.

10 制服團隊訓練 Uniformed Group Training 導師基本訓練及進深訓練課程 是年度我們共舉辦六期導師基本訓練課程 為了配合澳門事工發展, 其中一期的導師基本訓練課程更衝出香港, 在澳門舉行三日兩夜密集式的訓練, 共有 30 多位港澳學員一起受訓 為配合訓練委員會推出的訓練嘉許章, 讓導師訓練課程更多元化, 導師進深訓練課程將以 3S( 技能 社交及靈性 ) 作為訓練課程發展方向 OBTC & OATC 6 Officers' Basic Training Courses (OBTC) were held. In order to facilitate the BB ministry in Macau, one of the courses was held in Macau in an intensive 3-day camp, and 30 prospective Officers from Hong Kong and Macau participated. In future, Officers' Advanced Training Courses (OATC) will be designed to meet the 3S requirement (3S: Skills, Social, & Spiritual). 基本小隊長及深資小隊長訓練課程 是年度共舉辨了 4 期小隊長訓練課程, 超過 100 名隊員接受訓 練 為回應學校分隊需要, 特別開辦了一期學校基本小隊長訓練課 程, 增加訓練時數及針對少年軍各項知識和技巧 期望學員能夠學 以致用, 在分隊擔任導師的幫手 BNCO & ANCO Training 4 BNCO & ANCO Training Courses were held and over 100 Brigaders received training. In order to meet the needs of the School Companies, we tailor-made a school BNCO Training Course with additional training hours and special focus on BB knowledge and skills. 專章考核 本年度共舉辦 16 次中央考核, 共為 400 名隊員考取獎章, 整體合格率約 75% 其中體能 游泳 遠足 露營及步操章 ( 路試 ) 的合格率均超過 80% Award Training Examination 16 joint Company award training examinations were arranged this year and around 400 Brigaders got the award badges. The overall passing rate was 75%, while the passing rate of the Physical Training Badge, Swimming Badge, Expedition Badge and Drill Badge (skill test), was over 80%.

11 軍樂隊 軍樂隊隸屬總部, 致力透過表演及訓練, 服務基督少年軍 基督教團體及其他社會服務機構 是 年度軍樂隊積極加強樂員的練習及培訓新加入的樂員, 為五十週年各項紀念活動的演出作最佳準備 表演 服務方面, 軍樂隊應邀作服務或表演共 24 次, 服務超過 60,000 人次 表演服務包括臻訓中心奉獻禮暨 50 週年紀念活 動開幕禮及香港基督女少年軍大會操等 BB Band BB Band has been serving BBHK, Christian organizations and other non-government organizations through performances and provision of training courses. The Band put more effort on practice and training of newcomers this year in preparation for the 50th anniversary performance. BB Band had been invited to a total number of 24 services, serving more than 60,000 people. Our services included performing at the Opening Ceremony of the Anchor House cum the 50th Anniversary Programme, and the Annual Parade of The Girls Brigade Hong Kong, etc. 輔助隊 輔助隊在本年度加入了 6 位新隊員 隨著跨越奇園開放, 部份輔助隊隊員及導師接受訓練, 並協助帶領繩網活動, 令訓練更多元化 輔助隊隸屬總部, 除了恆常訓練內容, 亦會繼續協助總部籌辦導師基本訓練課程 山野領袖訓練及遠足教練訓練課程等活動和各項週年活動, 令更多導師得到裝備, 推展基督少年軍運動 Auxiliary Unit (AU) 6 new members joined AU this year. Due to the opening of Noah s Adventureland, some AU Officers and members received intensive rope course training in order to assist the training in future. As AU is under the structure of the Headquarters, so apart from its regular trainings, AU has been assisting the implementation of different training courses and annual programmes which serve to equip our Officers and help promoting the Boy's Brigade Movement. 見習導師分隊 見習導師分隊隸屬總部, 是為各分隊培養未來接班人而成立, 隊員需要接受為期 6 個月的訓練, 再加上 10 次的分隊實習, 了解不同分隊的運作模式, 為將來服侍分隊作好準備 本年度分隊畢業學員共 13 人, 相信他們必定成為分隊中的好幫手 Officer Cadet Company The Officer Cadet Company, under the structure of Headquarters, is established to train the successors for all Companies. The cadets will attend a 6-month training course with an additional 10 practical sessions in a different Company in order to gain a better understanding as to how a Company is run, hence to get ready to serve in one in future. There are 13 graduates this year; they are believed to become excellent helpers in their own Companies.

12 分區化進展 Progress of Districtisation 五區交流會 (2008 年 10 月 14 日 ) 大部份的區委員均有出席並積極參與小組分享, 內容包括成功經驗和改善建議等 經總部同工整理後, 已把分享內容上載本會網頁供各人參考 此外, 當天亦即場派發試辦區委員會手冊 ( 第二版 ), 當中參考了 分區化經驗整理報告 的各項建議 Sharing Forum among 5 Districts (14 Oct 2008) Most of the District Committee Members attended the forum and shared eagerly their successful experiences. Suggestions for improvements were also made. Headquarter staff has summarized and uploaded the details of the forum onto our website. Also, Handbook of Provisional District Committee (2nd Ed.) was distributed, containing suggestions listed according to the "Report of Collective Experiences over Districtisation". 五區主要活動剪影 縱觀過往一年, 各區均積極舉辦不同類型的訓練, 包括基本小隊長訓練和資深小隊長訓練課程 急救章 遠足章 步操章 海員章 安全章 游泳章等中級組專章訓練課程及初級組小領袖訓練營等 活動方面, 分別有以隊員為主的步操比賽 足球比賽 籃球比賽 棋藝比賽和嘉年華會 ; 另有以導師為對象的導師團契 祈禱會及專題工作坊等 此外, 各區亦與制服團隊部同工配搭, 探訪分隊和出席分隊的立願禮 Events Highlight among Five Districts Last year, every Provisional District actively organized different kinds of trainings, including BNCO & ANCO Trainings; First Aid Badge, Expedition Badge, Drill Badge, Seamanship Badge, Safety Badge, Swimming Badge and others; and a leadership training camp for Junior Section. The Provisional Districts also organized different kinds of Brigader-based activities, including drill competition, soccer competition, basketball competition, chess competition, and carnivals; and several Officer-based activities, including Officers' Fellowships, prayer meetings and workshops. Meanwhile, the committees of the Provisional Districts has teamed with the colleagues of Uniformed Group Division to visit Companies and attend their Enrolment Services. 10

Over 140 members from 12 Companies were on duty to assist the on-site arrangement. 全球禱告日 2008 (2008 年 5 月 11 日 ) 此福音聚會由全城更新主辦, 假香港大球場舉行 本會派出 29 支分隊, 共 230 多人一同參與是次服務 我們除了負責看台的招待和人群管理工作之外, 還帶領來自多個國家的千多名弟兄姊妹, 於國際大巡遊環節上進行巡遊 The Global Day of Prayer (11 May 2008) The programme was organized by City Wide Renewal and was held in the Hong Kong Stadium. We sent 230 members from 29 Companies to take part in the service. Other than being just ushers around the stadium and offering crowd control, we also led the march of over a thousand brothers and sisters from different countries in the "International Parade" session 全城同慶聖誕 Sing (2008 年 12 月 21 至 22 日 ) 7 支分隊分別在馬灣及香港文化中心協助全城更新維持秩序 2008 Citywide Christmas Caroling (21-22 Dec 2008) 7 Companies assisted in maintaining order in Ma Wan and Hong Kong Cultural Centre for this event organized by City Wide Renewal. 11

14 參與社會服務 Participation in Social Services 愛共享 2008 (2008 年 11 月至 2009 年 4 月 ) 是次活動得到工業福音團契及長者安居服務協會協辦, 使活動後更能跟進長者之需要 參與是次服務計劃的導師和隊員逾 400 人, 透過連續性的探訪, 關心 400 名有特別需要的長者, 服務地區包括樂民新邨 葵涌邨 葵芳邨 興華邨及旺角 Sharity 2008 (Share the Charity) (Nov Apr 2009) Sharity 2008 was supported by The Industrial Evangelistic Fellowship Limited and Senior Citizen Home Safety Association, who agreed to provide follow-ups for the needs of the senior citizens afterwards. Over 400 Officers and Brigaders participated in the services, taking care of 400 elderly with special needs through continuous visits. The service area included Lok Man Sun Chuen, Kwai Chung Estate, Kwai Fong Estate, Hing Wah Estate, and Mong Kok. 5 4 Youth Festival 2008 (4 May 2008) 五四青年節 升旗禮 大巡遊 大聯歡 (2008 年 5 月 4 日 ) 本年度的五四青年節適逢是週日假期, 大會安排了三個 大型節目於同一日舉行, 除了一如以往派出升旗 護旗隊參 與外, 香港基督少年軍亦第一次派出步操隊和聯合軍樂隊參 與巡遊隊伍, 參與人數超過 100 人 步操隊和軍樂隊由維園 出發, 途經銅鑼灣鬧市, 巡遊至香港大球場參與大聯歡的開 幕儀式 This year's May 4th Youth Festival was on Sunday, so the Government scheduled 3 large-scale celebration programmes on the same day. We dispatched over 100 Officers and Brigaders, including a Color Party to join the Flag Raising Ceremony, and for the first time a Drill Performing Team and a United Band to join the Street Parade. The Drill Performing Team and United Band marched pass Causeway Bay from the Victoria Park to the Hong Kong Stadium and joined the Opening Ceremony of the Youth Festival Celebration. 七一回歸日 十一國慶日升旗禮 ( 香港回歸十一週年慶祝活動 ) (2008 年 7 月 1 日 10 月 1 日 ) 本會應民政事務局的邀請出席 香港回歸十一週年 升旗禮及 中華人民共和國成立五十九週年 升旗禮, 兩次活動共有約 150 人參與 他們都為到能共同參與此歷史時刻而非常興奮 12

15 7 1,10 1 Flag Raising Ceremony (1 July, 1 Oct 2008) BBHK was invited by the Home Affairs Bureau to participate in the Flag Raising Ceremony for the 11th Anniversary of the establishment of HKSAR and the 59th Anniversary of the Founding of the Peoples' Republic of China. Around 150 members joined the two programmes and they felt very excited to participate at this historical moment. 金紫荊廣場升旗典禮 (2009 年 2 月 8 日 ) 民政事務局由 2008 年 9 月起, 邀請香港各青少年制服團隊於每月第二個星期日負責 金紫荊廣場升旗典禮 2009 年 2 月 8 日的升旗典禮由本會負責, 準 步操儀仗隊 經一段時間的訓練後, 甄選了 4 位隊員擔任升旗手, 他們由司令官帶領下代表香港特別行政區政府把國旗和區旗升起 當日除升旗小隊外, 準 步操儀仗隊 還派出約 30 人負責維持秩序 此外, 執行委員會成員及 200 多名導師及隊員也列隊參與 Flag-raising Ceremony at The Golden Bauhinia Square (8 Feb 2009) Starting from September 2008, the Home Affairs Bureau has invited various youth uniform groups in Hong Kong to be responsible for the Flag Raising Ceremony in the Golden Bauhinia Square for the 2nd Sunday of every month. For our first round of duty, we selected 4 Brigaders to raise the National Flag and the Hong Kong SAR Flag. Apart from the Color Party, 30 Officers and Brigaders of the "Ceremonial Drill Unit" were sent to maintain order during the Ceremony. Our Executive Committee Members and over 200 Officers and Brigaders were also present. 千人化妝齊創健力士 慈善晚會 (2008 年 5 月 3 日 ) 是次籌款晚會由基督教福音信義會主辦, 本會派出 8 支分隊, 接近 100 名導師及隊員 協助維持秩序及儀仗隊等工作 同時, 大會亦於活動中協助推廣基督少年軍事工 Most People Make Up Together Guinness World Records Charity Night (3 May 2008) Around 100 Officers and Brigaders, from 8 Companies, were sent to maintain order and be the Guard of Honour in the Charity Night organized by The Evangelical Gospel Lutheran Church Limited. Our ministry was also promoted during the Charity Night. 樂施毅行者 2008 (2008 年 11 月 7 日至 9 日 ) 本會動員了約 100 名義工支援毅行者活動, 以支持樂施會在本 港 中國內地 非洲及亞洲其他地區推行扶貧救災工作 Oxfam Trailwalker 2008 (7-9 Nov 2008) We mobilized about 100 volunteers to support the activity, which aimed at raising funds for Oxfam's various poverty alleviation and emergency relief projects in Africa and Asia, including Hong Kong and mainland China. 13

16 奧運金牌精英升旗禮及大匯演 (2008 年 8 月 30 日 ) 北京二零零八年奧林匹克運動會委員會安排國家奧運金牌運動員代表團來港進行三天親善訪問和 示範表演 本會派出一支步操隊進行升旗禮及 20 多人協助活動 其後亦有約 150 人出席大匯演, 讓運動 員感受香港青少年的活力和團隊精神 The China's Olympic Gold Medallists Extravaganza (30 Aug 2008) The 2008 Beijing Olympic Committee had arranged a 3-day courteous visit with sports demonstrations in Hong Kong from the Chinese Olympic gold medalists. We sent a Foot Drill Team to attend the Flag Raising Ceremony and around 20 members to assist in the activity. After that, over 150 members attended the Variety Show to let the medalists experience the youth vigor and team sprit of teenagers in Hong Kong. 開拓外間訓練 教會及神學院訓練 Professional Training for External Organizations 是年度有不少教會邀請本會舉辦不同主題的 營會, 包括歷奇福音營, 生命素質培訓訓練, 信仰 反思等主題營會 此外, 本會亦協助中國浸信會神 學院提供社會學課程, 及青少年輔導與事工課程 Training Services for Churches & Seminaries This year, a number of churches had invited us to hold different kinds of camp, including Adventurous Gospel Camp, Life Quality Improvement Training, Reflective Thinking and Belief Praxis Camp, etc. We also assisted the China Baptist Theological College to provide Sociology courses, and the Youth Counselling and Ministry courses for its students. 企業培訓 本年度為香格里拉酒店 香港全球國際貨運有限公司 綠葉療 膚中心及社會福利署等提供團隊訓練 危急處理及管理人員領導才 能等訓練 服務對象包括部門主管及前線員工 Corporate Training Services This year, we had provided training programmes including teambuilding training, emergency problem-solving training and leadership skills training, etc, to Shangri-La Hotel, Schenker International (HK) Ltd, Jackeline Beauty Salon, Social Welfare Department. 17 教師團隊訓練 本年度有數間學校 ( 包括柏基海韻幼稚園 浸信會呂明才幼稚園 賽馬會官立中學 嗇色園可譽 中學暨可譽小學等 ) 參加本會所提供之教師團隊訓練 Team-building Training for School Teachers This year, teachers of Parkview Rhine Garden Preschool, Fanling Baptist Church Lui Ming Choi Kindergarten, Jockey Club Government Secondary School and Ho Yu College and Primary School (Sponsored by Sik Sik Yuen) participated in our Team-building Training for School Teachers. 學生成長訓練 本年度為多間幼稚園 小學及中學舉辦學生訓練, 主題涉 及個人成長 領袖訓練 親子溝通 紀律訓練等 本會為香港專 業教育學院所屬 11 間學院合作訓練計劃, 以原野烹飪為訓練媒 介, 團隊解難為訓練元素, 提供全人發展教育課程, 服務人數達 4,000 人 Students Developmental Training We have provided students training programmes for several kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools in this year. Themes of the programmes included personal growth, leadership skills, parent-child communication, discipline training, etc. We also cooperated with the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education to provide whole-person education courses for over 4,000 students of its 11 institutes, with field cooking as the media and teamwork problem solving as the training element. 其他訓練服務及合作計劃 是年度與不同團體合辦各類計劃, 包括為共青團中山市委宣傳部接待中山義工交流, 共 10 團, 服務人數達 500 人 ; 與香港職業發展服務處合辦 走出我天地 計劃 ; 與社會福利署合辦親子活動和歷奇訓練營 ; 為愛丁堡公爵訓練營承辦外判高空繩網教練計劃等 Other Training Services and Projects We have also co-organized various kinds of activities with different organizations, including the provision of hospitality for 500 volunteers from the China Propaganda Department of Zhong Shan Committee of Communist Youth League; co-organizing the "My Steps" project with the Hong Kong Employment Development Service; the parentchild activities and adventurous training camp co-worked with the Social Welfare Department; and the High Rope Training Services for the Duke of Edinburgh Training Camp. 15

18 籌款及公關 Fundraising & Public Relations BB Month- 凝 燃 愛 券募捐活動 2008 (2008 年 11 月至 2009 年 1 月 ) 除了呼籲分隊向親友推銷 凝燃愛 券外, 本會亦設立兩次外銷活動, 分別於葵芳 九龍塘 尖沙咀及灣仔地鐵站 出口進行募捐 整個活動共籌得港幣 353,700 元 BB Month - "Love BB" Charity Ticket 2008 (Nov 2008 Jan 2009) Apart from encouraging our members to sell the Love BB Charity Ticket to their friends and relatives, we also set up selling post twice, at the MTR exits in Kwai Fong, Kowloon Tong, Tsim Sha Tsui, and Wan Chai, to raise fund. We have collected, all together, HK$353,700 in this activity. 新年利是十分一 (2008 年 2 至 3 月 ) 與去年一樣, 我們鼓勵隊員捐出新年利是的十分之一, 並教 導隊員樂意奉獻的心, 活動共籌得港幣 27,454 元 One-Tenth of Red Packet Donation (Feb to March 2008) Similar to last year, we also encouraged our Brigaders to donate one-tenth of their red packet received during the Lunar New Year, in order to teach them to offer and share willingly. 20 研究及出版工作 宗教制服團體對青少年隊員及導師成長的影響 研究 Research & Publications 是項研究由本會與香港浸會大學社會工作系聯合進行, 目的為了解香港基督少年軍對導師和不同組別的隊員於個人 成長及信仰各方面之影響, 本會亦會以研究結果作為改善服務質素之參考 研究方式包括問卷調查和個人訪問, 預計在 2009 年 9 月發佈結果 Research of "The Influences of Christian Uniformed Group on Facilitating the Growth of Participants and Trainers" This research was jointly conducted by BBHK and the Department of Social Work of Hong Kong Baptist University for the purpose of understanding the influences of BB movement on the personal growth and Christian belief of the Officers and Brigaders of different sections. We would use the research result as a reference for future service improvement. The method of research included questionnaires and individual interviews. The results would be expected to be announced in September 國際交流 International Exchange 第五屆基督少年軍亞洲區會會議 (2008 年 11 月 15 日 ) 執行委員會主席胡定邦先生 國際事工委員會主席江俊華女士及總幹事吳淑玲女士代表本會出席是次會議 會上各成員國匯報其事工進展, 交流未來發展方向, 並通過三年發展計劃 直至 11 月底, 亞洲會員人數已超過 30,000 人, 增長率達 9% The 5 th General Council Meeting of BB Asia (15 Nov 2008) Mr. Sunny WU, Chairperson of the Executive Committee; Ms. Eva KONG, Chairperson of the International Relations Committee; and Ms. Angel NG, Brigade Secretary represented our organization to join the meeting, during which each member country gave a report of its ministry progress, shared its future development plan, and endorsed the 3 Year Development Plan. 21 The 2 nd BB Asia Academy (27-31 Aug 2008) The academy took place in Jarkata, Indonesia, with 77 BB members from 8 countries including Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, United Kingdom, Philippines, and Hong Kong, taking part. Two staff from Headquarters, Mr. TSANG Tsz-fung, Development Secretary, and Mr. YEUNG Shu-wing, Training Secretary, together with five Officers; took part in this training course and found it most beneficial. 基督少年軍亞洲區會總幹事訪港 (2008 年 10 月 22 至 28 日 ) 基督少年軍亞洲區域總幹事 Mr. Lawrence Tay 訪問本會 除了到訪總部了解基督少年軍在香港的發展, 他亦到訪了第 及 252 分隊, 並介紹基督少年軍亞洲區域近年的發展 Visit from the Executive Secretary of The Boys' Brigade Asia (22 28 Oct 2008) Mr. Lawrence Tay, the Executive Secretary of The Boys' Brigade Asia, visited us on 22 to 28 Oct Apart from visiting our Headquarters to know more about the development of The Boys' Brigade in Hong Kong, Mr. Tay also visited the 67th, 164th, 207th and 252nd company, and introduced the development of The Boys' Brigade in the Asia district in recent years. 新加坡基督少年軍分隊訪港交流 (2008 年 11 月至 12 月 ) 新加坡基督少年軍第 50 及 93 分隊, 分別於 2008 年 11 月及 12 月 訪問香港 他們除了到訪總部外, 亦探訪了第 3 分隊及 50 分隊, 與 隊員 導師分享亞洲基督少年軍的發展 並一起步操 進行專章 訓練和參與崇拜 Visit from The Boys Brigade Singapore (Nov Dec 2008) The 50th and 93th Company of The Boys' Brigade Singapore visited Hong Kong, respectively, in November and December Apart from visiting our Headquarters, they also visited the 3rd and 50th company, to share with our Officers and Brigaders the development of The Boys' Brigade in Asia. They also practised drill, attended badges training and joined Sunday services with our Brigaders 年國際青年交流計劃 此計劃由民政事務局舉辦, 第 89 分隊郭靜雯上士和第 3 分隊司徒安怡輔助導師, 經本會推薦後, 獲選代表香港年青人分別於 2008 年 8 月和 12 月往愛爾蘭和新加坡進行交流活動 International Youth Exchange Programme The Programme was organized by Home Affairs Bureau. Ms. Vivian KWOK, Staff Sergeant from the 89th Company and Ms. SZTO On-yee, Warrant Officer from the 3rd Company, had been successfully selected with the nomination of the Headquarters of BBHK. They had opportunities to go to Ireland and Singapore in August and December in 2008 respectively. 19

22 祖國聯繫 四川地震重建捐款跟進工作 本會為四川大地震籌得港幣 250,284 元善款, 並透過成 都基督教青年會的協調, 將人民幣約 20 萬元撥作購買物資予 6 間學校 物資包括食堂低壓鍋爐 康體器材 學生宿舍床 板 高底床 桌椅及教具等 執行委員會成員及總部同工已 於 3 月 20 至 22 日前往四川探訪受惠學校及出席轉贈儀式 Support to the victims of Sichuan Earthquake Liaison with Mainland China We launched a donation campaign for Sichuan earthquake and raised HK$250,284. With the coordination of Chengdu YMCA for buying some resources for 6 schools including boilers, recreational facilities, double-deck beds, tables and teaching equipments, etc. Members of the Executive Committee and staff from Headquarters visited the temporary campus of the schools on 20 to 22 March 2008, and attended the Presentation Ceremony. 深社計劃 是項計劃由社會服務發展研究中心及深圳市政府合辦, 乃緣於 中國政府對社會工作在中國社會發展的重視, 落實以深圳為試點, 邀請香港的資深社工向深圳的前線社工提供督導及指導, 期望能以 此經驗, 推展至全深圳, 甚至將來的中國全省市 本會同工於 2008 年 5 月起向 7 位在深圳分佈於羅湖 南山及龍崗區處理有關義工活動 的前線社工提供督導服務 Shenzhen Social Work Professional Supervision Project The Project is co-organized by the Institute of Social Service Development and Shenzhen government. The Government of the People's Republic of China has taken more account of the development of its social work services in the society, and decided to carry out a pilot project in Shenzhen by inviting senior and experienced social workers in Hong Kong to provide supervision and training for the front-line social workers in Shenzhen. The Government is in the hope of extending the services, later, to the entire Shenzhen district, or even all provinces in the country. As always, SA never has any reservation in helping BB's work. This year, it assisted in fundraising on Flag Day and awarding 24 scholarships, worth a total of HK$30,000. In addition, BB Shop promoted many new products, which include 50th Anniversary T-shirts, dining sets, thermos teakettles, bookmarks, bears and stamps. In conclusion, SA's overall financial situation has been satisfactory, with profit from sales and donations amounting to HK$700,

32 委員會及工作小組報告 Reports from the Committees and Working Groups 分隊事務 在執行委員會 ( 下稱執委會 ) 的授權下, 分隊工作委員會 ( 下稱分工會 ) 正式試行新組別 小綿羊, 對象為 3 至 5 歲的兒童或幼稚園學生 在分區化發展方面, 分工會完成了 分區化經驗整理報告, 就試辦的第一及第二階段的運作進行檢討及長遠架構作出建議, 並獲執委會正式通過 分工會繼續對制服配件之質素作監控, 並提議新增服務腰帶及服務腰袋以配合執行服務之需要 ; 及新增隊員鴨咀帽給幼級組和小綿羊隊員配戴 委員亦就勳章和勳章綬帶的佩戴場合 冬季毛衣穿著規則 制服帽配戴指引及 五十週年紀念章 佩戴指引作出建議 ; 以上所有事項均獲執委會通過 此外, 分工會就學校分隊之成立資格作出修訂, 期望能進一步提升伙伴教會對學校分隊之牧養和參與 Company Affairs With the authorization of the Executive Committee (ExCo), the Company Work Committee (CWC) started to trial run a new section - Anchor Lamb, targeting on children between 3-5 years old or Kindergarten students. As for the development of districtisation, the CWC has finished the "Report of Collective Experiences over Districtisation", to review the operation of the 1st and 2nd stages and suggest new proposals for the framework of the long-term structure, which are already approved by the ExCo. CWC keeps on monitoring the quality of the uniform accessories, and proposed to add new items as Service Belt and Service Waist Pack in coordinate with the needs of operating services, and new item as Field Service Caps to be worn by Pre-junior and Anchor Lamb. CWC also issues instructions over the wearing of Medal and Ribbon; Winter Woolen Sweater; Glengarries and Field Service Caps; and the "50th Anniversary Memorial Badge". The ExCo has approved all the above proposals. Furthermore, CWC has revised the qualifications of setting up new Schools Companies, in hopes of further enhancing the link between the partner churches and the Schools Companies. 訓練事宜 回應分工會對小綿羊的建議, 訓練委員會 ( 訓委會 ) 已制訂獎章訓練內容, 並推出專為此組別的導師訓練課程 訓委會亦制訂了高級組獎章訓練大綱, 並獲執委會正式通過 訓委會於年內積極籌備香港基督少年軍樂團 ( 暫名 ) 和步操儀仗隊, 並與訓練及拓展部的同工緊密合作, 為招募和練習作出準備 Training Issues In response to CWC's suggestions over the Anchor Lamb, the Training Committee (TC) has set up new badges training system and provided officer training courses for the Anchor Lamb Section. TC also established the badges training system for the Senior Section, and was approved by the ExCo. 34 部門報告 Departmental Reports 制服團隊部 Uniformed Group Division 32 由前發展部轉營的制服團隊部, 除負 責原部門之分隊推廣和關顧工作外, 亦會 統籌各分隊的訓練紀錄 新部門將會加強 香港基督少年軍與其他制服團隊的合作, 亦會透過舉行國際交流活動, 擴闊各隊員 及導師的世界視野 本年度制服團隊部推 動的重點工作主要有以下數項 : 小綿羊及高級組之發展 配合分隊工作委員會的隊員年齡及制 度檢討, 於 2008 年暑假期間, 邀請十多 間機構一同參與, 落實試行適合幼稚園 學生 (3 至 5 歲 ) 的小綿羊組別 ; 此外, 高級組的年齡亦延長至 21 歲, 以配合現 今青少年發展的需要, 並與訓練委員會合 作, 制定新高級組獎章訓練課程, 期望可 與 年度新高中學制接軌 導師關顧 為了表揚各導師的無私奉獻, 制服團 隊部積極推動各項義工嘉許計劃包括 : 由 分隊工作委員會舉辦的分隊及導師嘉許計 劃獎勵 社會福利署的義工運動等, 各項 計劃成績皆令人鼓舞 另外, 總部及各區 皆以不同方式, 例如 : 導師加油站 導師 團契 講座 工作坊等, 希望藉不同的活 動, 補足各導師的心靈和技能的需要 統籌總部及五區各項隊員訓練 比賽及活動 各區及總部於本年內組織了超過 100 個活動或訓練項目, 目的在透過舉辦一些 個別分隊較難推行的活動及訓練, 加強各 分隊間的交流, 並幫助隊員的個人成長 活動籌備由不同的主辦單位負責, 制服團 隊部則負責行政工作及向各分隊推廣宣傳 The Uniformed Group Division (UGD) was originally transformed from the Development Department. Apart from taking up the original duties of promotion & caring work for Companies, we also coordinate all the training records of our Companies. The new division will enforce the cooperation between BBHK and other Uniformed Groups, and help widening the exposure of our Officers and Brigaders through organizing international exchange programmes. Our work highlights are as follows: New Development of Anchor Lamb & Senior Section To match up with the evaluation by the Company Work Committee (CWC), during 2008 summer, we have invited more than 10 organizations to have a trial run of the new Anchor Lamb Section, targeted for kindergarten children (3-5 years old). Also the age limit for the Senior Section is extended to 21 years old, to tie in with the needs of youth ministry development. We have worked together with the Training Committee to set up the new badges training system for the Senior Section, hoping to match up with the 2009/2010 New Senior Secondary Curriculum. Care & Support to Officers To warmly praise the selfless devotion of our Officers, UGD has actively set several volunteer awarding programmes into action, which includes: the Companies and Officers Awarding Programme organized by the CWC, the Volunteer Movement organized by the Social Welfare Department, etc. The results of the programmes are satisfactory. Besides, various activities were held for meeting the spiritual and technical needs of our Officers. Coordination of Activities arranged by Headquarters and 5 Districts Over a hundred activities and training programmes were held this year. These activities, which are difficult to be carried out in a single Company, are organized to enhance the bonding between Companies, and help advancing the personal growth of Brigaders. UGD is responsible mainly for the administrative and promotion work of these activities.

36 訓練及拓展部 Training & Development Division 訓練及拓展部主要為本會內部提供制服團隊訓練及會外各機構提供具少年軍特色的訓練服務 對內方面, 以培訓少年軍導師和隊員為主, 包括提供導師基本訓練課程 導師進深訓練課程 基本小隊長訓練課程 深資小隊長訓練課程及中級組中央專章聯考等 對外方面, 訓練及拓展部承辦不同類型的機構及單位的專業培訓服務, 服務對象包括工商企業 政府各部門 非牟利組織 大專院校 中小學及幼稚園 教會 神學院等 訓練內容主要包括領袖潛能 團隊溝通 管理思維 品格培養 個人成長 歷奇福音等 訓練及拓展部轄下單位包括臻訓中心及訓練學校 前者專門為少年軍導師 隊員 學校 教會 機構及商界員工提供多項專業培訓服務 中心更負責提供挪亞方舟跨越奇園之繩網及歷奇活動 而後者是本會一個集訓及退修的營地 除了提供各項訓練服務, 我們近年更致力與各公司 機構共同策劃合作計劃, 回饋社會 臻訓中心 訓練及拓展部於 2009 年首起營運馬灣挪亞方舟內歷奇訓練設施, 包括 5,000 呎訓練中心及辦公室 臻訓中心 ; 以及 20,000 呎戶外歷奇及繩網場地 跨越奇園 臻訓 The Training & Development Division (TDD) focuses mainly on providing uniformed group training for our members and BB-style training services for outsiders. Internally, we focus on training our Officers and Brigaders, through Officers' Basic Training Courses (OBTC), Officers' Advanced Training Courses (OATC), Basic Non- Commissioned Officers Training ( B N C O ), A d v a n c e d N o n - Commissioned Officers Training (ANCO), and joint-company award training examinations, etc. Externally, we take charge of professional trainings for various organizations and units, including commercial corporations, government departments, non-profit organizations, colleges, secondary schools, primary schools, kindergartens, churches, and seminaries. Our training sessions strengthen individuals in leadership skills, team-building, management, character development, personal growth, and gospel adventure. The Anchor House and Training School are under the management of TDD. The Anchor House provides the abovementioned professional training services to Officers and Brigaders, schools, churches, organizations, and corporate employees as well as operates the high rope course and adventure-based activities in the Noah's Ark. The Training School is a training and retreat campsite. Apart from providing various training services, we also work closely with companies and organizations, in the recent years, in projects that benefit our society. Anchor House Starting from 2009, TDD operates adventure-based training facilities in the Noah's Ark, Ma Wan. This includes a 5,000 square feet training centre and office - the Anchor House, and a 20,000 square feet outdoor high rope course - the Adventureland. Through the operation of over 20 high rope courses in Adventureland and various adventure-based training, the Anchor House enhances our training sessions to be more suited for Companies, churches, schools, our School Social Work Division, and other corporations. 34

The Training School was leased for 59 times last year, serving more than 1,357 people. It also served as a training base for field cooking courses offered to IVE students as part of their holistic development course, serving over 2,000 students in 48 days. 35

38 學校社會工作部 School Social Work Division 本部自 2000 年 9 月開始為九龍城區四所中學提供駐校服務 服務學校包括旅港開平商會中學 新亞中學 新法書院及東華三院黃笏南中學, 學生人數約 4,252 人 駐校服務 本部本年度共處理 300 個個案 ; 其中與情緒 精神健康有關的個案有上升之趨勢 除個案輔 導外, 我們亦舉辦各類學生成長小組及活動 家 長講座 親子溝通小組及教師培訓工作坊 專業發展 為裝備同工專業技能以滿足服務使用者有 關精神健康及情緒處理的需要, 我們邀請了香 港理工大學應用社會科學學系葉錦成教授及資 深輔導員黃麗璋女士進行了一系列有關的培 訓 ; 另外, 同工亦積極參與不同的課程與工作 坊, 及恆常作彼此交流以促進其專業發展 年度處理個案總數 :300 No. of Cases Handled in : 300 問題性質 Problem Nature School Social Work Division (SSWD) started stationing services in September, Around 4,252 students from four schools in Kowloon City District were the targets of our services. These schools are Hoi Ping Chamber of Commerce Secondary School, New Asia Middle School, New Method College, and TWGHS Wong Fut Nam College. Stationing Services In total, 300 cases have been handled this year, with rising tendencies for cases related to emotional and mental health. Apart from counseling, we have also held various workshops and activities for student development, parents' seminars, parent-child communication groups, and teacher training workshops. Professional Development In order to equip our workers' professional competence in handling cases related to emotional and mental health, we were pleased to invite Professor YIP Kam-shing, Department of Applied Social Services, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Ms. WONG Lai-cheung, senior practitioner in counseling to conduct a series of workshops. 40 職員培訓及團隊活動 Staff Development and Team-Building Activities 在職培訓津助 本會鼓勵同工積極參與在職培訓, 並提供時間及金錢津助, 以加強同工的專業及服務水平 本年度共有 33 人次申請津助參與 28 項培訓活動, 為時共 662 小時 Subsidy on Staff Development We have made every effort to encourage our staff to take up on-the-job further trainings with time allowance and financial subsidy offered to them in order to strengthen their professionalism and their standard of service. Through the visits to nongovernmental organization, staff got a deeper understanding towards the need of social services in Shenzhen. There was time for group worship, sharing and praying in which colleagues got strength and support. 聖誕聯歡聚餐( 2008 年 12 月 16 日) 本年度聚餐假馬灣挪亞方舟舉行, 當日除邀得執行委員會副主 席謝志堅牧師及謝師母出席外, 更獲本會顧問 執委及少友董事贊 助聖誕禮物, 使我們在歡愉的氣氛下一起共享愛筵 彼此祝福 Christmas Celebration Lunch (16 Dec 2008) This year it took place at Noah s Ark in Ma Wan. Not only were we pleased to have Rev. TSE Chi-kin, Vice-Chairperson of Executive Committee and his wife with us, we also received many Christmas presents sponsored by our Advisors, members of Executive Committee and Directors of Stedfast Association. We took part in the love feast in a most joyful atmosphere and became a blessing to each other. 38
