Dear valued customer, We have been informed by the directors of Invesco Global Asset Management DAC (the Director ) that it has decided to merge the respective underlying funds of the Investment Choices, namely INVESCO s Series - INVESCO Asian and INVESCO s Series 5 - INVESCO PRC (collectively, the Merging s ) into Invesco s - INVESCO Asian and Invesco s - Invesco PRC (collectively, the Receiving s ) respectively on September 7, 2018 (the Effective Date ). The Director expected that the merger will bring benefits to the shareholders of the Merging s should they remain invested in the Receiving s over the long term. Please refer to the below Impact of the merger on the Investment Choices section regarding a summary for the impact. All expenses related to the merger of the Merging s will be borne by Invesco Global Asset Management DAC, the management company of the Merging s. The exchange ratio for the merger will be 1:1, which is the factor expressing how many shares of the Receiving s will be issued for one share of the Merging s. Please refer to the enclosed Appendix A for detailed summaries and comparison of the Merging s and the Receiving s. The number of units and the total value in each Investment Choice you hold will remain the same after the Effective Date. Any premiums and switching-in to the Investment Choices received from September 4, 2018 to September 7, 2018 will not be invested immediately and will be held by us. The relevant premiums (without interest) will be invested into the Investment Choices on the first available dealing day. Please note that your investment during this period is subject to market risk. Actions required from you (1) If you accept the above changes, no action is required from you. (2) If you do not accept the above changes, (i) For policies with existing instruction to allocate regular premiums to the relevant Investment Choices You may redirect your regular premiums from the Investment Choices to other investment choices available under your scheme by submitting an instruction to us at or before 4:00 p.m. Hong Kong Time on September 3, 2018 (the Deadline ), free of charge. If no instruction is received from you by the Deadline, all regular premium allocations will continue to be assigned to the relevant Investment Choices on the Effective Date. 2

3 Page: 3 (ii) For policies with existing holdings of the Investment Choices You may switch out your holdings from the relevant Investment Choices and switch in to other investment choices available under your scheme by submitting an instruction to us by the Deadline, free of charge. If no instruction is received from you by the Deadline, the underlying fund of the Investment Choices will be changed as described above. We recommend that you shall contact your Financial Professional in the first instance, who will be able to advise you of alternative investment choice(s). Please be reminded that different investment choices available under the respective schemes have different investment objectives and policies, risks profiles and charges. Please read the offering documents of the underlying funds corresponding to the investment choices for details including the investment objectives and policies, risks factors and fees and charges of the underlying funds which are available free of charge from us upon request. All costs and expenses (if any) arising from the mergers of the Investment Choices will be borne by us. You should seek independent advice from a professional tax adviser should you have any questions on your tax position.
