I. Confirmation of Minutes of 111 th Meeting 2. The Meeting confirmed the minutes of the 111 th Meeting without amendment. II. Vetting of 10 New Applications on General Projects new applications (including the "Sustainable Environmental Protection Education Guided Tour Project" by Yan Oi Tong Limited and Tuen Mun Yan Oi Tong Tin Ka Ping Secondary School which was renumbered from minor works project no. MW0004C to general project no. 1300) were vetted at the meetings. Dr. Winnie TANG declared interests and withdrew from discussion for applications no.1290, 1291 and 1292 where the Internet Professional Association ( 互聯網專業協會 ) was the co-organizing body. 4. Representatives from the HKBU presented details of the new application of the General Project 1293 "Rethinking our waste: Public engagement and capacity building program". The decisions of the meeting were summarized as follows: 2

3 of Projects a) 6 c) Rejected 1 d) Deferred 3 Total: The total allocation for the 6 approved projects was $3,134, Details of the decisions of the Vetting Sub-committee were recorded at Appendix I. III. Vetting of 5 budget revision cases and 21 new applications on Minor Works Projects 6. Project MW0004C was vetted at the meeting. As minor works items of the project were not supported, the project was re-classified as a general project (Project 1300) and a total allocation of $422,100 was granted. Details were included in Appendix I. 7. Excluding the above, 5 cases on budget revision and 21 new applications on minor works projects were vetted. For the budget revision requests, 4 were approved and 1 was recommended to Environment and Conservation Fund (ECF) Committee for final approval. The decisions at the meeting regarding the 21 new applications were summarized as follows: of Projects a) 18 b) Rejected 1 c) Deferred 2 Total: 21 The total allocation for the 18 approved projects was $8,000, the Vetting Sub-committee were recorded at Appendix II. Details of the decisions of (Post-meeting notes: Two circulations were made on 14 April 2011 and 27 April 2011, covering a total of 14 budget revision applications of Po Leung Kuk kindergartens energy saving projects and 20 new applications. As endorsed on 19 April 2011 and 4 May 2011 respectively, all revisions and applications were approved. The total allocation for the 20 newly approved projects by circulation was $3,852, Details of the decisions of the Vetting Sub-committee were recorded at Appendix III & IV.) IV. (ii) EE&CA Project 1248 Development and Implementation of Quality Restaurant Environmental Management Scheme and Undertaking of Comprehensive Training Programme for the Scheme by Hong Kong Federation of Restaurants & Related Trades (HKFORT) and Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) 3

Miss Brenda LAM updated Members that the Sharing Session of EE&CA Projects would be held at 2:00 pm on 27 May 2011 at Hong Kong Science Museum. Representative from School Development Division of the Education Bureau agreed to attend the Q&A Session to answer participant s queries. [Post-meeting note: The Sharing Session was held successfully on 27 May A total of 190 representatives from 177 schools and non-governmental organizations attended.] V. Date of Next Meeting 18.
