The height to width ratio of the structure is 17. 3. The tower is super B grade structure. According to the characteristic of the structure, the strategy for the structural design is discussed in this paper. The features of the design is presented, including wind load, earthquake action, mode message, and some relevant results. A number of especial issues in the structural design and analysis of dynamic elastic2plastic response are discussed deeply in this paper. Based on the analysis and comparisons of calculation results, the safety of the structure is ensured. The method and conclusions presented in this paper may be referred for the design of similar projects.
