Exhibitors only need to bring their designs in CD-Rom and digital or offset printing can be arranged right here for catalogues, flyers, manuals and name-cards etc. Handling and freight costs are saved and last minute update is possible. The Organiser assumes no responsibility for the competence or integrity of the services listed and exhibitors are advised to exercise normal business precautions as they would in dealing with any service suppliers. 5.8 Overnight Storage Facility To facilitate storage of precious exhibits at night from 3 to 5 May 2016, the Organiser will offer exhibitors overnight storage facility arrangement. Format A strong room will be arranged at the exhibition venue. Exhibitors should place their exhibits inside locked container boxes before putting their exhibits in the strong room. Each exhibitor will be assigned a designated area in the strong room for putting the container. Exhibitors can only deposit their containers in the designated area. Cost Use of the strong room is free. However, the area allocated for each exhibitor will be subject to the availability of space. Deposit & Withdrawal Procedure All exhibitors using this overnight storage facility are reminded that they should conduct the deposit and withdrawal themselves under the escort of security guards. No exhibits can be kept in the security room during the exhibition opening hours as the room will be closed.
Exhibitors Responsibility All exhibitors using this storage facility should be reminded that they should take up all the risks, including loss and damage to their jewellery or other valuables, resulting from the usage of the overnight storage facility. Exhibitors are advised to take out insurance coverage on their jewellery throughout the exhibition, including the move-in, move-out and overnight storage period. Overnight storage of valuable exhibits can be arranged through the Organiser, free of charge, during the exhibition period at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. All property of an exhibitor stored in the Security Room at any time is stored at the exhibitor s own risk. Each exhibitor is responsible for the safety of its property at all times. Each exhibitor must have, at all times, valid and adequate insurance cover against theft, fire, public liability, damage to property, personal injury, third party loss, accidents, natural calamities, acts of God and such other risks normally insured against by exhibitors and/or as the Organiser may require including, without limitation, use of the Security Room. The Organiser (including their employees, directors, officers and agents) shall not be liable for any losses (including consequential losses), damages, demands, costs, claims, charges or other expenses of any kind suffered or incurred by any exhibitor or any other person arising in connection with the Exhibition including, without limitation, and theft, fire, use of the Security Room Service or defect in the Exhibition Centre howsoever caused. It is recommended that exhibitors have their own security guards, to escort their exhibits in and out of the Exhibition Centre during the moving in and moving out periods. 5.9 Security Services Exhibitors may elect to hire security guards for their own purposes during the fair period. Under the Standard Terms and Conditions of Licence of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibitions Center (HKCEC), exhibitors may procure additional security guards from the official security contractor only. The main entrances to the car-park are at the Harbour Road and Expo Drive.
5.14 Security Precautions The Organiser and the Exhibition venue management will take all reasonable measures to provide a secured environment for exhibitor s display and business conduction. However, it is not possible to solely rely on Organiser s efforts to prevent loss of items stored or displayed within the confines of an exhibitor s booth. Exhibitors are required to observe the following guidelines strictly: Manning of Booth Exhibitors stand must be fully manned at all times by alert staff. Never leave property unguarded, even for a few seconds. Entertain all customers entering the stand closely and present minimum items each time. The Organiser will form a Security Committee with advisers from Jewellery association representatives to spotcheck exhibitor s booth security. Loose security facilitating crime will jeopardise exhibitors future participation.
5.15 Internet Access at the Fair To ensure smooth Internet access during the fair period for business usage that requires stable connection (such as website demonstration, download of multimedia files, remote access to company server, etc.) throughout the Fair, exhibitors are advised to order a dedicated Broadband Line inside your booth, instead of relying on the Wireless LAN service provided by HKCEC (Please refer to FORM 5 in the Order Forms ). All exhibitors are kindly reminded that the free Wireless LAN service operated by HKCEC intends only for light and causal usage by a limited number of users simultaneously. The wireless connection may fail or become slow and/or unstable during the fair period, and will disconnect if the connection is idle for over 10 minutes. As an alternative to the free Wireless LAN service, broadband connection will be set up by HKTDC in designated areas of the Fair for both exhibitors and buyers. If you encounter any problem with the Wireless LAN service onsite, please call the Wireless LAN Service Hotline at (852) 2582 1846 / 2582 1849 for technical support and assistance. 5.16 Free Publicity Arrangement Exhibitors are encouraged to promote their companies or products by supplying around 30 sets of press kits (including press release and photos) to the "Media & Webcast Centre" on the first day of the fair. International and local media can freely collect materials available there for their reference and use. This service is free of charge for exhibitors. Whether your materials will be picked up for publishing is totally at the media s discretion. All submitted materials will not be returned. 5.8 通 宵 貯 存 服 務 為 方 便 參 展 商 於 2016 年 5 月 3 至 5 日 期 間 晚 上 貯 存 貴 重 展 品 起 見, 主 辦 機 構 將 提 供 通 宵 貯 存 服 務 服 務 方 式 主 辦 機 構 將 於 會 展 中 心 設 保 險 庫 一 間 參 展 商 應 先 將 展 品 放 置 在 貯 物 箱 內 鎖 好, 然 後 才 存 放 於 保 險 庫 參 展 商 可 獲 分 配 指 定 的 貯 物 空 間, 貯 物 箱 只 可 存 放 於 指 定 位 置 費 用 參 展 商 在 保 險 庫 中 貯 存 展 品 毋 須 繳 費, 但 分 配 貯 物 空 間 則 須 視 乎 保 險 庫 是 否 有 足 夠 空 位 而 作 出 安 排 展 品 存 取 參 展 商 應 在 護 衛 員 陪 同 下 自 行 在 保 險 庫 中 存 取 展 品 存 取 時 間 表 日 期 提 取 貯 存 2016 年 5 月 2 日 - - - - - 16:00 20:00 hrs 2016 年 5 月 3-4 日 08:30 10:00 hrs 18:00 19:00 hrs 2016 年 5 月 5 日 08:30 10:00 hrs - - - - - 保 險 庫 及 貯 物 室 於 日 間 不 予 開 放 參 展 商 必 須 於 上 午 10 時 前 取 出 所 有 貯 物 箱 請 注 意 : 使 用 保 險 庫 或 貯 物 室 的 申 請 是 按 先 到 先 得 的 方 式 處 理 展 品 不 得 在 時 間 表 所 示 時 間 以 外 的 時 間 提 取 或 存 放 在 展 覽 開 放 的 時 間, 保 險 庫 或 貯 物 室 會 關 閉, 所 以 展 品 不 得 留 存 在 保 險 庫 或 貯 物 室 內 參 展 商 責 任 參 展 商 須 知, 在 保 險 庫 中 貯 存 珠 寶 或 貴 重 物 品, 如 有 任 何 遺 失 或 損 壞, 概 須 自 行 負 責 參 展 商 應 為 展 出 珠 寶 及 物 品 購 買 保 險, 以 保 障 展 覽 ( 包 括 進 館 撤 館 以 及 通 宵 貯 存 期 間 ) 可 能 造 成 的 任 何 損 失 參 展 商 可 與 主 辦 機 構 安 排, 在 展 覽 於 香 港 會 議 展 覽 中 心 舉 行 期 間, 將 貴 重 展 品 通 宵 貯 存 於 保 險 庫 或 貯 物 室 內, 不 收 費 用 參 展 商 在 保 險 庫 或 貯 物 室 存 放 物 品 所 涉 及 的 風 險, 在 任 何 時 候 均 由 參 展 商 負 責 每 名 參 展 商 在 任 何 時 候 均 須 對 其 財 產 的 安 全 負 責 參 展 商 必 須 在 任 何 時 候, 就 盜 竊 火 災 公 眾 責 任 財 產 損 毀 人 身 傷 害 第 三 者 損 失 意 外 自 然 災 害 不 可 抗 力 以 及 參 展 商 一 般 都 會 投 保 及 / 或 主 辦 機 構 規 定 須 投 保 的 其 他 風 險 ( 包 括 但 不 僅 限 於 使 用 保 險 庫 或 貯 物 室 ), 投 購 有 效 及 充 分 的 保 險 對 於 參 展 商 或 任 何 其 他 人 就 展 覽 ( 包 括 但 不 限 於 盜 竊 使 用 保 險 庫 或 貯 物 室 服 務 或 展 覽 中 心 因 任 何 原 因 出 現 缺 陷 ) 而 蒙 受 或 招 致 任 何 損 失 ( 包 括 相 應 損 失 ) 損 毀 索 求 費 用 申 索 收 費 或 任 何 種 類 的 其 他 開 支, 主 辦 機 構 ( 包 括 其 職 員 董 事 高 級 人 員 及 代 理 人 ) 一 概 不 負 任 何 責 任 為 防 止 任 何 損 失 或 損 毀, 參 展 商 可 自 費 聘 用 保 安 護 衛 人 員, 在 遷 進 及 遷 出 期 間 內, 護 送 展 品 進 出 展 覽 中 心
