In the PE reduction of O 2 process, methanol was the major product and its content reached 3.77 mmol L -1 after 6 h. The length of TiO 2 nanowires on the surface of porous Ti-Ni alloy was about 2 μm and the diameter of the nanowires was about 20 nm. Methyl orange solution was taken as a sample to investigate the wastewater processing efficiency of TiO 2 nanowires-loaded porous Ti-Ni alloy. Under the anode voltage of 30 V, the discoloration of methyl orange can get 93% under the flow velocity of 200 ml/min. A novel strategy for improving the sensitivity of the molecular imprinted electrochemical sensor was proposed and dopamine (DA) was selected as a template molecule. The sensitivity was improved significantly due to the signal amplification caused by the catalytic electro-oxidation of molecular imprinted membrane on DA.
