Companies not only compete by reducing costs throughout the supply chain, reducing inventory, shortening production time and providing a better customer service, it also must respond rapidly to market changes to make correct decisions to ensure efficient operation and thus increase profits. The rise of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) can help enterprises to build a more efficient mode of operation to thrive in competitive environment. To collect the data, the research was conducted with visits to the chosen ompany, looking at how ERP was intergrated into the company s operations, discussions with its staff combined with literature references. The role of the distribution module and the potential benefits it brings to the company were analyzed, and whether successful communication between management and junior staff lead to effective support for project teams.
