This paper introduced sulfonamides and their harm, and briefly reviewed the application of colloidal gold immunochromatographic assay in the detection of sulfonamides in aquatic products. Compared with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) detection method and so on, colloidal gold immunochromatography technology is inexpensive, easy to use, fast and accurate, but its application is not so extensive, so how to improve the sensitivity of colloidal gold should be studied in the future, so that it can be able to detect a variety of drug residues in aquatic products.
