Exploring the Care of the Emergency Department in a Public Mental Hospital Jaw-Haw Chiou, M.S. Objectives. The target population for this study as chosen from south of psychiatric hospital in the ER. Methods. Data were analyzed using quantitative statistics. Data collection from 92.1.1~92.12.31. The researcher gave questionnaires for patients families polices fire brigades public health nurses. Results. Subjects of 973 cases 63.8% man 36.2% female. Patient satisfy explain the medication60% guideboard66.8% nurse education 80.25% resistry80.4%,average 76.3%. Institute satisfy Dr explain the condition 75% nurse education 79% administrable speed 80.45% nurse introduction 84.6% average 84.6% Conclusions. From the result of this study, we hope to provide the quality of patient center. The ability to deal with the emergent event for the workers should be emphasized due to the uncertainty in the ER.This provide the guideline for the emergency education and establish the safe medical service and practice for the workers and patients.
