等 級 考 試 60 分 爲 及 格 75 分 爲 良 好 87 分 爲 優 等 每 首 樂 曲 的 22 分 由 三 組 給 分 構 成, 分 配 如 下 : 音 符 準 確 及 流 暢 (7 分 ) 考 生 在 音 符 方 面 的 準 備 有 多 好, 認 識 有 多 深 簡 單 點, 可 以 把 這 部 分 想 為 : 我 與 音 樂 彈 奏 技 巧 (7 分 ) 操 控 樂 器 及 盡 量 借 助 樂 器 達 致 最 佳 音 樂 效 果 的 能 力 ; 如 音 色 發 音 法 踏 板 運 用 等 : 即 我 與 樂 器 傳 情 達 意 (8 分 ) 考 生 詮 釋 樂 曲 引 起 聽 眾 興 趣 及 傳 達 樂 曲 蘊 含 的 意 思 的 能 力 : 即 我 與 聽 眾 5

考 試 樂 曲 反 複 記 號 裝 飾 音 及 速 度 等 級 考 試 除 特 別 聲 明 外, 考 生 應 準 備 全 首 樂 曲 不 過, 多 於 幾 個 小 節 的 反 複 彈 奏 記 號 應 可 略 去, 除 非 考 試 大 綱 或 考 試 樂 譜 特 別 指 明 考 生 應 注 意 所 有 從 頭 再 奏 (de capo) 和 從 有 記 號 處 重 奏 (dal segno) 的 指 示 ; 標 明 第 一 次 及 第 二 次 (1st-/2nd-time) 以 示 要 來 回 反 複 彈 奏 的 小 節 ( 長 度 適 中 ), 如 果 首 次 彈 的 小 節 (first-time bar) 蘊 含 重 要 的 音 樂 元 素, 也 要 留 意 學 院 鼓 勵 各 級 特 別 是 較 高 級 的 考 生, 彈 出 顫 音 (trills) 及 其 它 切 合 樂 曲 風 格 的 裝 飾 音 樂 譜 所 示 節 拍 器 記 號 只 作 參 考 指 引, 考 生 演 奏 時, 應 留 意 表 示 速 度 及 / 或 樂 曲 特 性 的 術 語 ( 例 如 慢 板 快 板 等 ) 翻 譜 員 考 官 不 能 充 當 考 生 的 翻 譜 員 考 生 翻 譜 如 有 實 際 困 難, 可 藉 影 印 有 關 頁 次 解 決 問 題 參 加 6-8 級 琴 試 及 證 書 考 試 的 考 生, 如 有 需 要, 可 以 請 人 協 助 翻 譜, 但 翻 譜 員 只 可 以 在 考 生 需 要 協 助 時 才 可 留 在 試 場 憑 記 憶 彈 奏 考 生 可 以 自 由 選 擇 憑 記 憶 彈 奏 全 部 或 部 分 樂 曲, 這 樣 做 可 能 有 助 加 固 他 們 的 知 識 及 表 達 能 力 然 而, 考 試 沒 有 規 定 考 生 必 須 憑 記 憶 彈 奏, 考 生 也 不 會 因 此 而 額 外 得 分 選 擇 憑 記 憶 彈 奏 的 考 生, 必 須 帶 備 原 樂 譜 正 本, 供 考 官 參 照 樂 譜 及 副 本 考 試 時, 考 生 必 須 採 用 原 裝 印 刷 樂 譜 彈 奏, 聖 三 一 學 院 極 力 建 議 考 生 應 在 報 考 前 取 得 考 試 所 需 的 原 裝 樂 譜 並 與 考 試 時 出 示 考 試 大 綱 列 了 不 同 版 本 的 作 品, 考 生 可 選 用 任 何 一 個 可 信 的 版 本 ; 提 供 出 版 商 資 料 旨 在 方 便 考 生 識 別 作 品, 及 作 為 建 議 性 參 考 任 何 時 候, 考 生 也 應 盡 量 索 取 較 為 可 靠 及 權 威 的 樂 譜 版 本, 但 亦 需 留 意, 流 通 全 球 的 版 本 也 有 機 會 出 現 歧 異 舉 例 說, 本 考 試 大 綱 列 為 Faber 出 版 的 樂 譜, 可 能 在 某 些 地 區 被 列 為 Alfred 出 版, 或 是 偶 爾 被 列 為 Warner Chappell 出 版 考 生 在 購 買 前 應 仔 細 查 看 清 楚 出 版 商 的 聯 絡 資 料 刊 載 於 本 大 綱 末 尾 不 可 使 用 全 份 樂 譜 的 影 印 本 假 如 考 生 或 伴 奏 者 使 用 未 經 出 版 商 授 權 的 影 印 本 樂 譜 演 奏 ( 為 方 便 翻 譜 而 影 印 的 小 段 樂 曲 除 外 ), 該 部 分 考 試 將 不 獲 給 分 考 官 歡 迎 考 生 提 供 非 聖 三 一 學 院 出 版 的 樂 譜 參 照 本, 基 於 這 個 需 要 而 使 用 影 印 本 是 可 以 的 所 有 由 考 生 提 供 的 影 印 本, 會 交 由 考 官 保 存, 並 於 考 試 結 束 後 銷 毀 6

個 人 作 品 等 級 考 試 考 生 可 以 提 交 個 人 創 作 的 樂 曲, 取 代 其 中 一 首 表 列 考 試 曲 ; 內 容 個 人 作 品 必 須 符 合 指 定 的 規 格, 對 演 繹 技 巧 和 藝 術 水 平 的 要 求, 亦 必 須 與 其 它 考 試 曲 相 近 預 先 錄 製 的 素 材 或 其 他 樂 器 不 得 使 用 儘 管 老 師 在 必 要 時 可 以 給 予 考 生 指 導, 作 品 原 則 上 應 由 考 生 獨 力 完 成 學 院 建 議 考 生 和 老 師 在 準 備 個 人 創 作 樂 曲 時, 要 留 意 有 關 各 等 級 應 達 到 的 程 度 的 說 明 (Levels of Achievement Statements), 詳 情 可 參 閱 最 新 版 資 訊 及 規 則 考 生 必 須 特 別 留 意 每 個 等 級 所 定 的 考 試 時 限, 如 果 作 品 明 顯 地 比 指 定 時 限 短 或 長, 均 會 失 分 記 譜 整 份 作 品 必 須 由 考 生 親 手 抄 寫 出 來 ( 或 由 考 生 應 用 電 腦 寫 譜 程 式 印 製 出 來 ) 1-5 級 的 考 生, 可 以 任 何 連 貫 一 致 的 記 譜 法 提 交 個 人 作 品 ;6-8 級 的 作 品 則 必 須 以 譜 表 記 譜 記 譜 不 完 整 或 技 術 上 不 正 確, 或 是 彈 奏 出 來 的 與 譜 寫 的 相 差 很 遠, 都 會 被 扣 分 考 生 必 須 提 交 一 份 樂 譜 影 印 ( 副 ) 本 給 考 官 保 存, 並 在 上 面 清 楚 註 明 考 生 姓 名 及 編 號 評 核 演 奏 過 後, 考 官 會 要 求 考 生 解 說 樂 曲 是 如 何 創 作 出 來 的, 並 進 一 步 發 問 關 於 樂 譜 結 構 的 問 題 演 奏 部 分 佔 16 分 ; 清 晰 的 解 說 結 構 及 表 達 佔 6 分 具 體 的 要 求 分 列 如 下 不 同 等 級 的 作 品 要 求 : 級 次 時 限 要 求 ( 分 鐘 ) 初 級 1-2 樂 曲 含 有 突 然 的 變 化 1 級 1.5-2.5 樂 曲 含 有 突 然 的 力 度 對 比 變 化 樂 曲 2 級 1.5-2.5 中 連 奏 及 斷 奏 的 段 落 對 比 明 顯 3 級 1.5-2.5 樂 曲 恬 寧 及 樸 實 地 開 始, 漸 漸 發 展 至 宏 亮 壯 麗 的 高 潮 4 級 2.5-3.5 樂 曲 需 要 雙 手 也 彈 奏 長 旋 律 樂 句 ( 雖 然 不 必 同 一 時 間 進 行 ) 5 級 2.5-3.5 樂 曲 含 有 很 多 大 幅 跳 進 6 級 3.5-4.5 樂 曲 用 上 不 同 的 踏 板 效 果 7 級 3.5-4.5 樂 曲 突 顯 到 雙 手 的 八 度 音 8 級 4.5-5.5 樂 曲 突 顯 到 最 少 兩 個 對 位 聲 部 7

技 巧 測 試 等 級 考 試 本 部 分 考 試 旨 在 鼓 勵 考 生 建 立 演 奏 考 試 曲 的 必 要 技 巧 考 生 應 保 持 恰 當 而 穩 定 的 速 度, 以 準 確 為 目 標 能 夠 留 心 樂 句 的 塑 造 形 式, 並 且 迅 速 和 有 自 信 地 演 奏 出 來 的 考 生, 得 分 會 較 高 本 大 綱 的 主 體 部 分 詳 載 各 個 等 級 所 定 的 要 求 所 有 音 階 和 琶 音 都 必 須 同 向 彈 奏, 先 往 上, 然 後 往 下 ; 右 手 在 距 離 左 手 一 個 八 度 的 位 置 彈 奏 ( 除 非 另 有 說 明 ) 音 階 和 琶 音 都 必 須 凴 記 憶 彈 奏, 至 於 各 級 技 巧 測 試 的 練 習 曲 ( 第 iii 項 ), 考 生 可 以 憑 記 憶 彈 奏, 或 使 用 考 試 曲 選 輯 (Trinity Examination Pieces&Exercises book) 一 書 的 樂 譜 來 彈 奏 考 生 必 須 準 備 三 首 練 習 曲, 但 考 試 只 會 彈 奏 兩 首, 考 試 自 選 一 首 進 行 彈 奏 以 及 考 官 將 會 在 餘 下 的 兩 首 當 中 選 擇 一 首, 讓 考 生 去 彈 奏 音 階 和 琶 音 的 速 度 考 試 有 最 低 速 度 的 規 定, 考 級 越 高, 要 求 的 速 度 亦 相 應 加 快 節 奏 模 式 全 是 平 均 的 八 分 音 符, 每 兩 個 一 組 或 4 個 一 組 (1 級 要 求 考 生 彈 奏 三 連 音 分 解 和 弦, 不 在 此 限 ) 所 有 音 階 圖 式 分 載 於 鋼 琴 音 階 及 琶 音 (PianoScales&Arpeggios) 兩 冊 書 中, 音 階 書 中 的 彈 奏 指 法 純 屬 建 議 指 法, 並 非 強 制 性 的 規 定 只 要 做 到 圓 滑 連 奏 的 效 果, 任 何 合 理 的 指 法 均 可 接 受 8

The mark out of 90 is made up of three component marks, based on the holistic performance. Notational Accuracy & Fluency (30 marks): How well the notes are prepared and realised: Me and the Music. Technical Facility (30 marks): Instrumental control and the ability to draw the most from the instrument (e.g. tone colour, articulation, pedalling): Me and the Instrument. Communication & Interpretation (30 marks): How well the candidate interprets the music, engages the audience and conveys a sense of the context of the music they are playing: Me and the Audience. The mark out of 10 for Presentation Skills is split into 3 sections: Programme Planning (4 marks) The effectiveness and overall balance of the pieces played and the way in which they show different facets of the candidate s abilities. The accuracy of the timing of the programme. Programme Notes (4 marks) Researched notes to increase the listener s appreciation and understanding of the performance. Ranging from a brief description of each piece at Foundation to an extended and more insightful piece for Advanced. For Piano Duet and Piano Six Hands examinations one written report will be issued for each ensemble. Each member will receive a certificate if the examination is passed. Repertoire (See also Pieces, page 7) Each examination requires a performance of pieces in accordance with a set time duration, rather than a specific number of pieces to be performed. Own-choice repertoire Candidates are permitted to make their own selections of repertoire taking up to one third (in time) of the recital programme (e.g. an Intermediate Certificate examination programme totalling 15 minutes may contain up to five minutes of own-choice repertoire). These own-choice pieces may be taken from any source, including drawn from current or past Grade syllabuses of any accredited board which relate to each Certificate level as indicated below. All own-choice repertoire must be of a similar level of technical and musical demand as the pieces on the list. A candidate s own composition(s) may also be included. Certificate examinations Presentation Skills Programme notes should be formatted in a similar way to those used for public recitals, e.g. a folded A4 (A5), typed or word-processed document. The content should range from a brief description of each piece for Foundation Certificate to a more extended and insightful piece of work for Advanced. This work must be the candidate s own, showing evidence of personal creativity and input and must include timings for each piece. They may be in a language other than English, though a translation to English should also be provided. The translation need not be the candidate s own work. Programme notes should be presented to the examiner at the beginning of the examination. The examiner will then let the programme flow, without comments between pieces to allow the candidate to proceed at their own rate, within the confines of the regulatory timings. 48

Certificate examinations for Ensembles Certificate examinations Designed to encourage the co-operative skills essential for the development of a well-rounded musician, Trinity also offers Certificate examinations for ensembles. These are structured in the same way as Certificate examinations for individual instruments. Instruments and size of ensemble Provided that ensembles have repertoire of the appropriate level of difficulty and, as long as the examination centre can accommodate the performers adequately, there is no restriction on the nature or size of ensembles. Any ensemble of three or more players and/or singers may be entered, except in the case of Piano Six Hands, for which a syllabus already exists, and which should be entered under its own subject code. Duos will also be accepted, except in cases where standard Grade examinations already exist (such as most single-line instruments with Piano or Piano Duet). Repertoire No repertoire lists are provided, however repertoire should be chosen in line with the guidelines set out for solo Certificate examinations. Each part may be played by one player, as in chamber music, or by multiple performers according to the suitability of the music. Players may change instruments between pieces, but no extra credit will be given for performing on more than one instrument. Entering A special Ensemble entry form obtainable from Local Area Representatives or from Trinity s London office must be used for each ensemble. Each must be given a name (e.g. The Proctor Quintet ) which will be printed on the report form and certificates. For Ensemble examinations one written report will be issued for each ensemble.
