Community for the Chest Television Show 籌募年報 Campaign Year Report 2015/2016 12 The annual television fund-raising Community for the Chest Television Show was held on 23 May 2015. The show featured an impressive line-up of performances to appeal for donations. Thanks to the contributions of the Chest s Board and Committee Members, celebrities and the community, the show brought in substantial donations to support social welfare service development. Sin for a illion The Chest s supporters including Mr Rocky Chan; Mr Anthony W K Chow, SBS, JP and the Young Once Band; Dr Jimmy Tang, MH, JP and Prince Band; and The Hon Michael Tien, BBS, JP serenaded the audience with Chinese and English love ballads to rally support for the meaningful cause.
Renowned Chefs for the Chest - An Evening with Michelin Stars Charity Dinner 香港公益金 The Community Chest 13 The Renowned Chefs for the Chest Charity Dinner took place on 8 May 2015 at the Penthouse of Hang Seng Bank Headquarters. With Michelin Stars as its theme, Chefs from six Michelin Star restaurants: Duddell s, Fook Lam Moon Restaurant, Kam s Roast Goose, Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong Summer Palace, The Square and YUÈ, in addition to the renowned in-house chef from Hang Seng Bank presented donors with an exquisite dinner. Also contributing to the fund-raising success was a live auction of collector s items.
籌募年報 Campaign Year Report 2015/2016 14 The Community Chest Hang Seng Table Tennis Charity Challenge With the generous support of Hang Seng Bank, The Chest partnered with the Hong Kong Table Tennis Association for the first time to present the Community Chest Hang Seng Table Tennis Charity Challenge at MacPherson Stadium on 12 May 2015. The organisers invited the National Table Tennis Team to play against the Hong Kong Team, as well as rising stars from the Hang Seng Table Tennis Academy, helping to raise funds to support the local community.
