This domestic water station is used in drinking water installations for filtering and reducing the pressure of drinking water. An inlet pressure of max 16 bar can be adjusted to a discharge pressure of 15 bar to 6 bar. The discharge pressure set in the factory is 4 bar. Each domestic water station is thoroughly checked before delivery. Should difficulties occur, please contact the responsible customer service (see back page). 4 SAFETY About this instruction manual ATTENTION! (see chapter Safety information and dangers due to noncompliance ) The instruction manual must be permanently available at the place in which the domestic water station is used. This instruction manual is intended to make it easier to familiarize yourself with the domestic water station and its possible intended uses. The instruction manual contains important information in order to safely, properly and economically run the domestic water station. It contains fundamental information, which must be observed during installation, opera tion and maintenance. Observance of this information helps to avoid dangers, reduce repair costs and increase the reliability and service life of the domestic water station. The instruction manual must be read and used by each person entrusted with carrying out work on the domestic water station, for example: installation operation maintenance (servicing, inspection, repair) Installation and maintenance may only be carried out by personnel authorized by the manufacturer, who are capable of fulfilling the instructions given in the installation and operating instructions and the country-specific regulations. Apart from the instruction manual and the legally binding accident prevention provi sions applicable in the country and place of use, the recognized technical regulations for safe and proper work must also be observed. Therefore, this instruction manual must always be read by the fitter and responsible due to noncompliance skilled personnel/owner or operator before installation, commissioning and mainte nance. Not only the general safety notes given in the chapter on Intended use are to be observed, but also the special safety notes inserted under the other main items. Built-in rotary flange Safety information and dangers due to non-compliance In detail, failure to observe the general danger symbols can result, for example, in the following risks: failure of important functions of the domestic water station, danger to persons due to electrical and mechanical effects, danger to persons and the environment due to leaks. Refrain from any unsafe working methods. Failure to comply with this instruction manual and the safety information can not only result in dangers for people but can also harm the environment and the unit. Units used In derogation of the International System of Units (SI = System International), the follo wing units are used: Units Conversion F F = 9/5 C + 32 bar 1 bar = 100 kpa = 0,1 N/mm² ¾ DN 20 Intended use Installation and use of the domestic water station are each subject to the applicable national regulations. In addition to the operating instructions and the obliging regulations concerning accident prevention that exist in the country of opera tion and the location of use, the established technical regulations concerning safe and professional work, should also be observed. The water which is to be treated should fulfil the requirements stipulated by European drinking water directives! It is absolutely essential that the manufac turer / supplier will be consulted prior to any operation of the device using water of a different quality, respectively with water that contains additives. This domestic water station is suitable for use in cold drinking water up to maximum ambient temperature of 30 C (86 F). It is produced to state of the art standards and the generally accepted safety regula tions in Germany. The domestic water station may only be used as described in the instruction manual. Any other or further use is deemed not to be intended use. Additional dangers exist in case of non-intended use and failure to observe the danger symbols and safety information. The manufacturer/supplier are not liable for any losses or damage resulting from this. The risk is solely borne by the user. Intended use also includes observing the instruction manual. The manufacturer/supplier must always be consulted before using the domestic water station outside the use limitations given in the instruction manual. 05 Bluewater January 2015

6 The domestic water station is only to be used in a technically perfect condition, for its intended use, safely and aware of the dangers and with full observance of the instruction manual! Have any malfunctions corrected imme diately! Water pressure The water pressure must be between 1.5 bar and 10 bar. This domestic water station is used in drinking water installations for filtering and reducing the pressure of drinking water. An inlet pressure of max 16 bar can be adjusted to a discharge pressure of 15 bar to 6 bar. The discharge pressure set in the factory is 4 bar. Instructions concerning specific dangers Electrical devices / equipment There must not be any electrical cables and devices underneath or in the immediate vicinity of the domestic water station! Electrical devices / equipment, which are not splash proof and which are located near the domestic water station can be damaged by water which escapes from the domestic water station during backwashing or improper use. If the electrical devices / equipment are connected to the power supply, a short circuit can also occur. In this case there is a risk of people suffering an electric shock. Electrical devices / equip ment located near the domestic water station must therefore be splash proof and comply with the legal regulations for wet rooms (IP44). 06

7 PRODUCT INFORMATION Intended purpose This domestic water station is suitable for use in cold drinking water up to a maximum water temperature of 30 C (86 F). This domestic water station is used in drinking water installations for filtering and reducing the pressure of drinking water. EN ATTENTION! (see chapter Safety information and dangers due to noncompliance ) Please refer to the chapter on Intended use for use restrictions. This domestic water station is used to protect the water pipes and hot water heater against limescale deposits. This domestic water station removes coarse and fine-grained particles from the water which are larger than or equal in size to the mesh size of the domestic water station. Particles smaller than the supplied mesh size and impurities causing turbidity cannot be filtered out of the water. Materials used The materials used are resistant to the physical, chemical, and corrosive loads to be expected in the drinking water and fulfil the requirements specified in the DIN EN , DIN ( Mechanical filters in drinking water installations ) and DIN EN 1567 standards ( Building valves - Water pressure reducing valves and combination water pressure reducing valves ). All mate rials are hygienically and physiologically safe. Plastics fulfil the official guideline of the German Federal Environmental Agency as well as the DVGW work sheet W270. Metallic materials fulfil the requirements of the DIN standard (Impact on the drinking water quality). Data Sheet Type Bluewater PreFilter Sense ¾, domestic water station. 8 The nominal pressure denotes the pressure class, according to which the domestic water station must fulfil the requirements of the DIN EN , DIN and DIN EN 1567 standards. The maximum operating pressure is lower, in order to ensure the optimum function of the domestic water station. 9 INSTALLATION General EN ATTENTION! (see chapter Safety information and dangers due to noncompliance ) The unit may only be installed by skilled personnel. The chapter on Intended use must always be observed! The pipes must be able to safely support the domestic water station. Otherwise mechanical damage or fractures/ bursts can occur in the pipes. This can result in major water damage. People close to the domestic water station are exposed to a health risk due to the large quantities of water released. Therefore, if necessary, the pipes must be additionally fixed or supported. For convenient operation and maintenance it is absolutely necessary to ensure the given spacings. A space of at least 200 mm should be main tained above and below the domestic dater station. These distances are necessary to be able to properly carry out the back-washing and maintenance work (see chapters Backwashing and Modifications / changes / spare parts ). Requirements for the place of installation The room where the unit is installed must be dry and frost free! Unauthorised persons must not have access to the domestic water station! ATTENTION! (see chapter Safety information and dangers due to noncompliance ) The ambient temperature must not exceed 30 C (86 F)! At higher tempera tures or direct sun radiation the material can be damaged and the filter hood can even break. In order to be able to safely discharge the wastewater in operation and in case of any defects that occur in the system, precise compliance with the details given in the Installation chapter is necessary! If the wastewater (backwashing) cannot be safely and completely discharged, the house and installations can be damaged by water. A shut-off valve must be installed upstream and downsteam of the domestic water station with a bypass to allow continued water supply when the domestic water station is out of service! This enables the water supply to the domestic water station to be interrupted during installation, servicing/mainte nance, repairs and in case of malfunc tions. Floods and serious water damage to house installations can therefore be avoided. The unit can be installed in all standard drinking water pipes. It is not permitted to install the domestic water station upstream of the water meter! Installation position ATTENTION! (see chapter Safety information and dangers due to noncompliance ) Always install the domestic water station in a vertical position (± 5 )! Failure to observe this can cause uncon trolled backwashing water to escape and can result in water damage. 09 Bluewater January 2015

10 Mounting the built-in rotary flange Install using the supplied built-in rotary flange. The built-in rotary flange is used as a connecting element between the pipe and the domestic water station. It is suitable for both horizontal and vertical pipes. The built-in rotary flange must be installed in the direction of flow. This is marked by a cast in arrow. Failure to comply with this means the domestic water station cannot work. ATTENTION! (see chapter Safety information and dangers due to noncompliance ) The flange surface of the built-in rotary flange must be in a vertical position! The built-in rotary flange must be fitted so that mechanical stresses cannot occur! Other wise mechanical damage can result in the built-in rotary flange. Otherwise mechanical damage can result, the pipe may burst or the built-in rotary flange can break. This can result in major water damage. In this case, people close to the domestic water station are exposed to a health risk due to the large quantities of water. Therefore, during installation, ensure that no large forces act on the pipe, built-in rotary flange and domestic water station. Installing the domestic water station Figure 3. Built-in rotary flange with bayonet fixture The built-in rotary flange for the domestic water station is supplied with bayonet drill holes. The necessary seals and screws for this domestic water station have already been mounted. Do not unscrew the screws! Insert the four flange screws in the bayonet drill holes on the built-in rotary flange (see Figure 3I). Turn the domestic water station in a clockwise direction as far as it will go (see Figure 3II). Tighten the four flange screws. Select the torque (approx. 4 Nm) so that the gasket closes and the domestic water station is not damaged or strained! ATTENTION! (see chapter Safety information and dangers due to noncompliance ) The section of the profiled flange gasket must point towards the built-in rotary flange (see Figure 4). Failure to observe this can lead to leaks and water escaping. This can in turn cause water damage to the house and its installations. 10

(see chapter Safety information and dangers due to noncompliance ) For the backwashing water a wastewater connection (for example a floor drainage) in accordance with DIN 1986 must be in place. If there is no wastewater connection an appropriately sized bucket can be used. The dimensioning depends on the local circumstances (e. g. wastewater pipe gradient, number of pipe bends, length of the wastewater pipe, etc.). The dimensioning must at least allow all the wastewater to be discharged at the same time. If it is not possible to provide a wastewater connection directly beneath the domestic water station, the flushing water can be fed several metres to the next wastewater connection, either through a hose or a pipe to be fitted to the flushing water valve. This pipe must have the same dimension as the flushing water valve. In all options, a free discharge must be ensured in accordance with DIN EN The following points must be noted if a bucket is used for backwashing: If the mains pressure is high, water can splash out of the bucket. In this case, damage to property close to the domestic water station is possible. When the bucket is half-filled the backwashing process must be stopped. Otherwise it is possible for the bucket to overflow. Therefore the bucket must be adequately dimensioned (see Figure 5) and the backwashing should be carried out quickly. 12 OPERATION ATTENTION! (see chapter Safety information and dangers due to noncompliance ) Always observe the chapter on Intended use! Commissioning Before starting up (initial putting into service or startup after maintenance work), fill the domestic water station with water and vent! To this end, after installation the domestic water station is filled with water by opening the upstream shut-off valve. The domestic water station is now at the same pressure as the water system. The enclosed air must then be immedi ately removed from the domestic water station in order to avoid damage to the installation caused by pressure surges-the domestic water station is vented by means of backwashing (see chapter Discharging the backwashing water ). After backwashing and venting the domestic water station is ready for use. Pressure setting Change the factory-set pressure of 4 bar: Undo the locking screw (1) at the hand-wheel of the pressure reducer (2). Turn the handwheel in a clockwise direction = increase pressure. Turn the handwheel in an anti-clockwise direction = reduce pressure. The pressure can be set within the range bar. Briefly open an extraction point behind the domestic water station, this relieves the pressure and the set pressure can be read off. As soon as the required setting range is reached retighten the locking screw on the pressure reducer handwheel. Fixing the locking screw of the pressure reducer handwheel prevents the setting range from changing by itself. Functional description The unfiltered water flows through the built-in rotary flange (4) into the domestic water station. The water flows through the fine filter from the outside inwards. The filtered dirt is retained by the mesh of the fine filter screen. The retained dirt can be seen from the outside through the transparent filter hood (6). The filter water flows on into the pressure reducer (2). The downstream pres sure set can be read off at the manometer (3). The filtered water then leaves the domestic water station through the built-in rotary flange (4). 12

All sizes of domestic water station are backwashed with treated water. The supply of treated water to the domestic water station is maintained throughout the backwashing process. Dirty water cannot get into the clean water side during backwashing. The backwashing takes place at full tap (water system) pressure. To clean the screen, the backwashing handwheel (9) is turned in an anti-clockwise direction up to the limit stop. The treated water flows from the inside out through the screen surface in the suction channel and takes the adhering particles with it. During this time treated water flows out. The fine filter screen is cleaned. At the same time the inside of the trans parent filter hood is cleaned with the wiper lips of the suction pipe. After cleaning the backwashing handwheel must be turned in a clockwise direction (9) up to the limit stop. This backwashing process can be repeated if necessary. 13 Bluewater January 2015

14 The degree of pollution as well as the cleaning off operation can be watched from outside. ATTENTION! (see chapter Safety information and dangers due to noncompliance ) This backwashing process must be carried out so that no more backwashing water discharges. If the closing process is interrupted the flushing valve is not fully closed. Water permanently escapes as a result. Apart from high water consumption, this can also cause water damage, especially if the backwashing water is not discharged as described in the chapter on Discharging the backwashing water. Backwashing interval The domestic water station must be back-washed: every two months at the latest, if the water pressure falls, if the domestic water station is visibly dirty. There is a display button attached to the domestic water station. It can be slid along the months scale. This enables the backwashing interval to be monitored. ATTENTION! (see chapter Safety information and dangers due to noncompliance ) If the interval until the next backwashing is longer than two months, the particles on the filter screen can stick or a large filter pres sure resistance can result. Unauthorised persons must not operate the domestic water station! Persons who operate the domestic water station must observe the operating instructions. Failure to observe these instructions can result in damage to property and personal injuries. Experience shows that increased dirt is deposited during the initial running period. If so, the unit has to be flushed more often than usual. Failure to flush in good time can cause damage to the screen. Larger quantities of filtered particles can deform the screen and as an extreme incident cause the tearing of the sieve. As a result a filter function is not any longer ensured. In addition, larger quan tities of dirt can cause mechanical impair ment concerning the backwashing function. Modifications / changes / spare parts ATTENTION! (see chapter Safety information and dangers due to noncompliance ) Only original spare parts are to be used! Arbitrary modifications and changes are prohibited for safety reasons! They can impair the function of the domestic water station, lead to leaks and as an extreme inci dent they can lead to the bursting of the domestic water station. Servicing / repair Before carrying out any work on the domestic water station, which extends beyond pure operational control, the domestic water station must be depressu rised! Failure to observe this can lead to an uncontrolled escape of water and therefore lead to water damage in the building. Strictly comply with the instructions given in the Installation and Maintenance chapters. 14

15 Stoppages ATTENTION! (see chapter Safety information and dangers due to noncompliance ) If a domestic water station has to be removed from the flange or unscrewed, the chapter Intended use must always be observed! Protect the flange surfaces from damage! Damaged flanged surfaces cannot close tight any longer. As a result, escaping water can damage the building and installations. Ensure that no dirt can get into the domestic water station! This dirt can get into contact with and be discharged into the drinking water when the domestic water station is switched back on. The health of people who drink dirty water is at risk. Store the domestic water station in frost-free conditions! Frost can cause any water contained in the domestic water station s voids to freeze and thus cause mechanical damage to the domestic water station so that it leaks at operating pressure or can burst. Leaking water can cause major damage to the building. In addition, people near the domestic water station can be injured by breaking off filter parts. When restarting the domestic water station, follow the instructions for a new domestic water station. Faults The opening of the units and the replacement of the water pressure charged parts may only be effected by authorized personal in order the ensure the unit security and its tightness. Help with faults: Fault Cause Remedy EN Backwashing water continues running! Flushing valve not fully closed. Dirt in the flushing valve. Repeat the backwashing and then turn the handwheel until it locks into place! Water flow rate falls! Screen is blocked. Carry out backwashing. Leaks in the domestic water station! Filter hood becomes turbid! Hairline cracks on the filter hood! Downstream pressure slowly rises when no water flowing! Filter hood has been exposed to high temperatures or solvents. Impermissible increase in pressure due to service water heating Wear in the pressure reducer cartridge. Inform the fitter or nearest customer service centre. (The filter hood must be replaced immediately.) Check the safety valve of the hot water boiler. Inform the fitter or nearest customer service centre. 15 Bluewater January 2015

16 MAINTENANCE ATTENTION! (see chapter Safety information and dangers due to noncompliance ) Always observe the chapter on Intended use! Cleaning ATTENTION! (see chapter Safety information and dangers due to noncompliance ) Use only clear, drinking water concerning the cleaning of the housing and the transparent filter hood. Domestic all-purpose cleaners and glass cleaners can contain up to 25% solvents or alcohol (spiritus). These substances can chemically attack the plastic parts, which can lead to brittleness right up to [brittle] fractures. These kinds of cleaners must therefore not be used. Warranty and Services In order to comply with the legal warranty claim, according to DIN 1988, part 8, it is necessary that the backwashing takes place according to the existing operating conditions, at the latest, however, every two months. Further, an annual check of the set discharge pressure at the pressure gauge (visual check) when no water is flowing and at the peak flow (large amount drawn off) is necessary. Regular servicing is indispensable in order to continue to achieve a successful process for many years after the unit is put into service. In the building services sector this is covered by DIN 1988, part 8. A servicing agreement is the best way to ensure a good operating function beyond the warranty period. Wherever possible, the regular servicing work and supply with consumables and wearing materials, etc. should be carried out by the specialist trade or the factory s customer service department. 16

Ce manuel d instructions de service a pour but de faire découvrir plus facilement l filtre et de l utiliser conformément aux fins auxquelles il est destiné. Ce manuel d instructions de service contient des informations importantes afin d exploiter le station d eau domestique en toute sécu rité, de manière conforme et rentable. Il contient des informations fondamentales qui doivent être observées lors de l installation, du service ainsi que de la maintenance. L observation de ces informations permet d éviter les risques, de réduire les coûts de réparation et d augmenter la fiabilité ainsi que la longévité du station d eau domes tique zu. Ce manuel d instructions de service doit être lu, compris et utilisé par toute personne chargée d exécuter par exemple les travaux suivants sur le station d eau domestique: installation service maintenance (entretien, inspection, remise en état) L installation et la maintenance doivent être exclusivement confiées à un personnel autorisé par le constructeur qui est en mesure de respecter les consignes et les prescriptions spécifiques de pays, stipulées dans les instructions de montage et de service. Il convient d éviter toute activité/tout travail risquant d entraver la sécurité. L inobservation de ce manuel d instructions de service et de ses consignes de sécurité est susceptible de menacer aussi bien des personnes que l environnement et la station d eau domestique. Unités utilisées Les unités divergeant du système d unités international (SI = System International) suivantes sont utilisées: Unité Conversion F F = 9/5 C + 32 bar 1 bar = 100 kpa = 0,1 N/mm² ¾ DN 20 Utilisation conforme L installation et l utilisation de la station d eau domestique sont toutes deux soumises aux consignes et prescriptions nationales en vigueur. Outre les instructions de service ainsi que les réglementations de prévention des acci dents en vigueur dans le pays d utilisation et sur le site d utilisation, il est également indis pensable de strictement observer les règles de technique spécialisée reconnues assu rant un travail en toute sécurité et dans les règles de l art. L eau à filtrer doit présenter les qualités d une eau potable! Avant l exploitation avec une eau de qualité différente ou contenant des additifs, il est indispensable de contacter le constructeur/ fournisseur pour avis! La station d eau domestique est destinée à une utilisation dans de l eau potable froide jusqu à une température ambiante de 30 C (86 F) au maximum. Elle a été fabriquée selon le niveau technique le plus récent ainsi que dans le respect des règles de tech nique de sécurité reconnues en Allemagne. L utilisation de station d eau domestique est réservée aux stipulations dans le manuel d instructions de service. 22 Une utilisation non conforme et le non respect des symboles d indication de danger et des consignes de sécurité peuvent entraîner des risques imminents supplémentaires. Le constructeur/fournis seur décline toute responsabilité en cas de dommages qui en résulteraient. Seul l utili sateur est tenu responsable. Fait également partie d une utilisation conforme l observation du manuel d instruc tion de service. Avant une utilisation éventu elle de station d eau domestique à des fins dépassant le cadre décrit dans le manuel d instructions de service, il est indispensable de contacter le constructeur/fournisseur pour avis. Les stations d eau domestique doivent être utilisées exclusivement dans un état technique impeccable ainsi que d une manière conforme, en pleine conscience des règles de sécurité et des risques encourus et dans le strict respect du manuel d instructions de service! Des dérangements fonctionnels doivent être immédiatement éliminés! Pression d eau La pression d eau doit se situer entre 1,5 bar et 10 bar. Cette station d eau domestique s utilise dans des installations d eau potable pour la filtration et la réduction de pression d eau potable. Une pression d entrée de 16 bar max. peut être réglée sur une pression de sortie de 1,5 bar à 6 bar. La pression de sortie réglée départ usine est de 4 bar. Information concernant des dangers particuliers Appareils / dispositifs électriques Aucune conduite et aucun appareil électrique ne doit se trouver sous le station d eau domestique ou à proximité de cette dernière! Les appareils / dispositifs électriques non protégés contre les projections d eau disposés à proximité de station d eau dome stique peuvent être endommagés par de l eau qui s en échappe lors du rétrolavage ou en cas d une utilisation non conforme. Si les appareils / dispositifs sont raccordés à l alimentation électrique, il y a risque de court-circuit. Dans pareil cas, il y a danger d électrocution. C est pourquoi les appareils / dispositifs électriques qui se trouvent à proximité doivent être protégés contre les projections d eau ou correspondre aux exigences légales régissant leur utilisation dans des locaux humides (protection IP44). 22

23 REMARQUES CONCERNANT LE PRODUIT Domaine d utilisation FR Cette station d eau domestique est destinée à une utilisation pour de l eau potable froide jusqu à une température de l eau de 30 C (86 F) au maximum. Cette station d eau domestique s utilise dans des installations d eau potable pour la filtration et la réduction de pression. ATTENTION! (cf. chapitre «Consignes de sécurité et risques encourus en cas d inobservation») Pour les restrictions d utilisation, cf. chapitre «Utilisation conforme». Les station d eau domestique extraient de l eau les particules à granulation grossière et fine dont la taille est supérieure ou égale aux maillages du filtre de la station d eau domestique. Les particules plus petites que le maillage de filtre fourni et les turbidités ne peuvent pas être filtrées de l eau. Matériaux utilisés Les matériaux utilisés résistent aux sollici tations physiques, chimiques et corrosives auxquelles il faut s attendre dans l eau et satisfont à ce qui est prescrit dans les normes DIN EN , DIN («station d eau domestique à effet mécanique dans l instal lation d eau potable») et DIN EN Tous les matériaux sont inoffensifs du point de vue hygiénique et physiologique. Des matières plastiques remplissent les normes et règlementations de l office fédéral de l environnement allemand et la feuille de travail DVGW - W 270. 25 INSTALLATION Généralités ATTENTION! (cf. chapitre «Consignes de sécurité et risques encourus en cas d inobservation») FR L installation est exclusivement réservée à un personnel spécialisé expérimenté. Il est absolument indispensable d observer le chapitre «Utilisation conforme»! Les tuyauteries qui sont montées sur la station d eau domestique doivent pouvoir porter le poids de la station d eau dome stique en toute sécurité. Sinon, il y a risque de détérioration méca nique de la tuyauterie pouvant même provo quer une rupture. Des sinistres plus consé quents provoqués par l eau peuvent en résulter. C est pourquoi les tuyauteries devront être fixées ou soutenues par des moyens supplémentaires si besoin est. Pour une manipulation et une maintenance confortables, il est absolument nécessaire de respecter les intervalles indiqués. Au-dessus et en dessous de la station d eau domestique, un espace libre d au moins 200 mm devrait être assuré. En effet, ces écarts sont nécessaires afin de pouvoir réaliser le rétrolavage et les travaux de maintenance (cf. chapitre «Rétrolavage» et «Transformations / modifica tions / pièces de rechange») de manière conforme. Exigences auxquelles le lieu de montage doit satisfaire Il faut que le local d implantation soit sec et exempt de risque de gel! Il faut que des personnes non autorisées n aient aucun accès à la station d eau domestique. ATTENTION! (cf. chapitre «Consignes de sécurité et risques encourus en cas d inobservation») La température ambiante ne doit pas excéder 30 C (86 F)! En présence de températures plus élevées ou d ensoleil lement direct, les matériaux risquent d être endommagés et une rupture de la cloche filtrante peut se produire. Afin de pouvoir assurer l évacuation fiable des eaux chargées (rétrolavage) en cours d exploitation et également lorsqu il y a apparition d une défectuosité de l installation, il est absolument indis pensable de respecter les indications stipulées au chapitre «Installation»! Si les eaux chargées (rétrolavage) ne peuvent pas être convenablement évacuées avec fiabilité, cela est suscep tible de provoquer des dommages matériels côté bâtiment et mobilier. Il faut qu une vanne d arrêt soit installée en amont de la station d eau domestique! Celle-ci permettra de couper l alimenta tion en eau au cours de l installation, de la maintenance, de la réparation et en cas de dysfonctionnements de la station d eau domestique pour éviter des inon dations ainsi que des sinistres plus conséquents côté bâtiment et mobilier. L appareil peut être installé sur toutes les conduites d eau potable du commerce. L installation de la station d eau dome stique en amont du compteur à eau est interdite! Position de montage ATTENTION! (cf. chapitre «Consignes de sécurité et risques encourus en cas d inobservation») La station d eau domestique doit toujours être installée à la verticale (± 5 )! Si cela n est pas respecté, il se peut alors que l eau de rétrolavage sorte de manière incontrôlée et provoque des dommages. 25 Bluewater - Janvier 2015

26 Montage de la bride rotative de montage Le montage s opère avec la bride rotative de montage fournie. La bride rotative de montage assure le raccordement à l installa tion d eau domestique. La bride rotative de montage se prête aussi bien à des tuyauteries horizontales que verticales. Il faut que la bride rotative de montage soit installée dans le sens d écoulement. Celui-ci est indiqué par une flèche moulée dans le matériau (cf. Figure 9). En cas de non respect, la fonction de filtra tion n est pas possible. ATTENTION! (cf. chapitre «Consignes de sécurité et risques encourus en cas d inobservation») La surface de la bride rotative de montage doit être à la verticale! La bride rotative de montage doit être montée de sorte qu aucune contrainte mécanique ne puisse apparaître! Sinon, il y a risque de détérioration méca nique ou même de rupture de la tuyauterie ou de la bride rotative de montage. Des sini stres plus conséquents provoqués par l eau en résulteraient. C est pourquoi, lors du montage, il faut veiller à éviter que des forces importantes agissent sur la tuyauterie, sur la bride rota tive de montage et sur la station d eau domestique. Montage de la station d eau domestique Fig. 9. Bride rotative de montage à baïonnette La bride de montage rotative de la station d eau domestique est équipée de raccords à baïonnette. Les joints et vis sont prémon tées sur la station d eau domestique. Ne pas desserrer les vis! Insérer les quatre vis de bride dans les raccords baïonnette de la bride rotative de montage. Tourner la station d eau domestique dans le sens horaire jusqu à la butée. Serrer les quatre vis de la bride. Choisir un couple de serrage (env. 4 Nm) adin d assurer l étanchéité du joint et en veillant à ne pas endom mager la station d eau domestique. ATTENTION! (cf. chapitre «Consignes de sécurité et risques encourus en cas d inobservation») Le profil du joint à bride doit être dirigé vers la bride rotative de montage (cf. Figure 10). Si vous ne tenez pas compte de ce fait, il y a risque de manque d étanchéité et de fuites d eau pouvant entraîner des dommages côté bâtiment et mobilier. Fig. 10. Bride rotative de montage 26

27 Evacuation de l eau de rétrolavage ATTENTION! (cf. chapitre «Consignes de sécurité et risques encourus en cas d inobservation») L eau de rétrolavage exige un écoulement d eau chargée suffisamment dimensionné (par exemple évacuation au sol) selon DIN En l absence d un tel raccorde ment, vous pouvez utiliser un seau de taille appropriée (cf. Figure 11). Le dimensionnement est fonction des condi tions locales (par exemple de la pente de la conduite d eau chargée, du nombre de déviations, de la longueur de la conduite d eau chargée, etc.). Le dimensionnement doit être de sorte que le volume complet d eau chargée puisse être évacué. S il n est pas possible de prévoir un raccordement directement sous la station d eau dome stique, l eau de lavage pourra être évacuée à travers un tuyau ou conduit monté sur la soupape d eau de lavage jusqu au prochain raccordement d évacuation. Ce conduit doit avoir la même dimension que la soupape d eau de lavage. Quelque soit la solution choisie, il faut veiller à assurer une évacuation libre selon la norme DIN EN Si, pour le rétrolavage, un seau est utilisé, il faudra que vous observiez les points suivants: En présence d une pression élevée dans les tuyauteries, de l eau risque de s échapper du seau. Dans pareil cas, des objets à proximité de la station d eau domestique risquent d être endom magés. Si le seau est rempli à moitié, il faut achever l opération de rétrolavage. Sinon, le seau risque de déborder. Il faut donc que le seau soit suffisamment dimensionné (cf. fig. 4) et que le rétrola vage se réalise rapidement. 28 SERVICE ATTENTION! (cf. chapitre «Consignes de sécurité et risques encourus en cas d inobservation») Il est indispensable que vous observiez le chapitre «Utilisation conforme»! Mise en service Avant la mise en service (première mise en service ou mise en service après les travaux d entretien), remplissez d eau la station d eau domestique et purgez! A cet effet, remplir d eau la station d eau domestique après l installation en ouvrant la vanne d arrêt en amont. Dès à présent, la pression dans les tuyaute ries de la station d eau domestique est éta blie. Ensuite, évacuer immédiatement l air emprisonné dans la station d eau dome stique afin d éviter un endommagement de l installation par des coups de pres sion. La purge de la station d eau dome stique s effectue à l aide d un rétrolavage (cf. chapitre «Evacuation de l eau de rétrolavage»). Après le rétrolavage et la purge, la station d eau domestique est prête à fonctionner. Réglage de la pression Modification la pression de sortie réglée départ de 4 bar: Desserrez la vis de serrage conique sur le volant du réducteur de pression (2). Tournez le volant dans le sens horaire = augmentation de la pression. Tournez le volant dans le sens anti horaire = réduction de la pression. La plage de réglage est de 1,5 bar à 6 bar. Ouvrez brièvement un point de prélève ment en aval de la station d eau dome stique. De cette manière, vous obtenez une décharge de pression et la pression réglée peut être lue. Dès que la plage de réglage souhaitée est atteinte, resserrez la vis du volant du réducteur de pression (2). Le blocage de la la vis du volant du réduc teur de pression empêche qu il y ait désajus tement incontrôlé de la plage de réglage. Description fonctionnelle L eau non filtrée s écoule de la bride rotative (4) dans la station d eau domestique. L eau traverse tamis de filtration de l extérieur vers l intérieur. Les impuretés filtrées sont rete nues dans la texture du tamis du filtre fin. Elles sont visibles de l extérieur par la cloche filtrante transparente (6). L eau filtrée continue à affluer dans le réducteur de pres sion (2). La valeur de maintien en pression réglée est lisible sur le manomètre (3). Ensuite, l eau filtrée quitte la station d eau domestique en passant par la bride rotative (4). 28

Le rétrolavage de tout modèle de station d eau domestique s opère à l eau épurée. La distribution d eau n est pas interrompue pendant l opération de rétrolavage. Au cours du rétrolavage, de l eau chargée ne peut pas pénétrer dans l installation d eau propre. Le rétrolavage est effectué à la pression totale de la conduite d eau. Pour nettoyer le filtre, on tournera le volant de rétrolavage (7) jusqu à la butée dans le sens contraire des aiguilles d une montre. L eau épurée s écoule vers l extérieur au travers de la surface filtrante dans les goulottes d aspiration et véhicule ainsi les particules adhérentes. Au cours de cette période, de l eau épurée afflue vers l extérieur. La texture du filtre fin et simulta nément la paroi intérieure de la cloche filtrante transparente sont nettoyés par les lèvres essuie-glaces des goulottes d aspira tion. Après le nettoyage, il faut tourner le volant de rétrolavage (9) jusqu à la butée dans le sens des aiguilles d une montre. Cette opération de rétrolavage peut être répétée si besoin est. 29 Bluewater - Janvier 2015

30 Aussi bien le taux d encrassement que l opération de nettoyage sont visibles de l extérieur. ATTENTION! (cf. chapitre «Consignes de sécurité et risques encourus en cas d inobservation») Cette opération de rétrolavage doit être effectuée de telle sorte qu il n y ait plus d eau de rétrolavage qui s échappe. Si l opération de fermeture est interrompue, la soupape de purge ne sera pas complète ment fermée. Il en résultera une sortie permanente d eau qui entraîne une consom mation d eau élevée et des dommages par l eau, plus particulièrement lorsque l eau de rétrolavage n est pas évacuée comme décrit au chapitre «Evacuation de l eau de rétrolavage». Intervalle de rétrolavage La station d eau domestique exige un rétro lavage: au plus tard tous les deux mois, lorsqu il y a baisse de la pression d eau, lorsque qu elle est visiblement encrassée. La station d eau domestique est pour vue d un bouton d indication. Il peut être déplacé le long de l échelle men suelle. De cette manière, l intervalle de rétrolavage peut être surveillé. ATTENTION! (cf. chapitre «Consignes de sécurité et risques encourus en cas d inobservation») Si l intervalle jusqu au prochain rétrolavage est de plus de deux mois, il se peut que le filtre soit envahi par des germes. La qualité de l eau peut alors être nettement menacée. Des personnes non autorisées n ont pas le droit de manipuler la station d eau dome stique! Les personnes qui sont chargées de travaux sur la station d eau domestique sont tenues d observer le manuel d instructions de service. Son inobservation est suscep tible de menacer aussi bien les personnes que les bien matériels. Dans le cas d une nouvelle installation, on sait par expérience qu au début, il y a un dépôt accrue de pollutions. Dans ce cas, il faut rétrolaver plus fréquemment que dans des conditions normales. Si le rétrolavage n a pas lieu à temps, le filtre-tamis risque d être endommagé. Des quantités plus importantes de particules filt rées risquent de déformer la texture du tamis-filtre et, dans des cas extrêmes, de le déchirer. A la suite de quoi, un fonctionne ment de la station d eau domestique n est plus assuré. En outre, des quantités de particules polluantes plus importantes risquent de menacer mécaniquement la fonction de rétrolavage. Transformations / modifica tions / pièces de rechange ATTENTION! (cf. chapitre «Consignes de sécurité et risques encourus en cas d inobservation») Seules des pièces de rechange d origine ont le droit d être utilisées! Pour des raisons de sécurité, il est interdit de procéder à des transformations et modi fications sans l avis préalable du construc teur/fournisseur! En effet, cela risque de menacer le bon fonctionnement de la station d eau domestique, de provoquer des fuites et, dans des cas extrêmes, de faire éclater la station d eau domestique. Maintenance / réparation Avant de procéder à des travaux sur la station d eau domestique qui dépasse le cadre des opérations normales d exploita tion, il est nécessaire de la mettre hors pres sion! L inobservation de cette consigne peut donner lieu à une sortie d eau incontrôlée risquant d endommager sérieusement le bâtiment. Il est absolument indispensable que vous respectiez à la lettre les consignes stipulées aux chapitres «Installation» et «Installation». 30
