For the Chinese market, Hexagon Metrology Qingdao can supply the full series of well-known brands in coordinate measuring machines and systems within the Hexagon Metrology Group, equipped with state-of-the-art controllers and comprehensive metrology software such as PC-DMIS and QUINDOS, to ensure manufacturing quality and in process control for our customers. The Hexagon world-class CMM manufacturing facility in Qingdao has a capacity of up to 1500 units a year. In the Qingdao facility, we manufacture and assemble the latest version of the Hexagon Metrology products for sales in China and for export to Asia. Through local manufacturing we can shorten delivery time, reduce products manufacturing cost, and quickly respond to the customer requirements to provide a CMM solution with a high performance-to-price ratio to our customers. At the same time, Hexagon Metrology Qingdao has improved and expanded the capacity of the customer service area to over 2000 m 2. The CMM application and demo center is equipped with all different types CMMs and softwares with over 20 application and training instructors who can provide machine operation demonstration, technology consultation, training, and part measurement before, during or after product sales. A dedicated customer service group can provide Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), Software Maintenance Agreements (SMA) to extend the original service and support of our customer systems. A CMM Upgrade/Retrofit group can provide quick response to aftermarket service requirements to keep your CMM in line with the latest technology and software. In order to better support our Chinese customers, Hexagon Metrology Qingdao currently has 12 regional service and support precision centers located in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenyang, Suzhou, Shenzhen and etc. Each precision center is staffed to provide local service, CMM technology consultation and technical support. Through this system we can respond to our customer needs in the shortest time and provide better service to our over 5000 current China customers effectively and quickly.
