At hoku we have sourced quality ingredients with an extensive grill, sushi, and kitchen menu all inspired by Japanese preparation methods and ingredients. Binchotan is a type of charcoal only available in Japan, where they use special techniques to create a high-density coal from very fine oak wood. The result is an extremely high fire that burns at a very slow rate and infuses an amazing aroma. Be sure to try a grilled fish at hoku.
